The scent was subtly unobtrusive, and since it contains the surfactant sulfate, the cleansing power is good. My hair condition is slightly damaged up to the middle, with severe damage at the ends (already stretched, very dry, and bumpy and twisted in various places due to protein loss). I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and got to try the Acure Damage Repair Shampoo! I have long, curly hair with a lot of volume and dyed hair. First, I really liked the design - it's so pretty! And the scent!!! I really care about that, and this one is so subtle yet I just want to keep smelling it. Since my hair is long, I usually have to pump a lot of product to get a good lather, but this one lathers up nicely. And even though I use strong cleansing shampoos, my hair usually feels really stiff and my scalp gets dry after rinsing. But this one left my hair feeling soft.
