There are no downsides~ It's great to use before makeup, and it's a lotion in itself.

This is the sunscreen of life...I really dislike sunscreens that are too oily, so I usually use a completely matte formula or the slightly less greasy and somewhat moisturizing Holika Holika sunscreen. But when I tried the Keep Cool sunscreen, I was pleasantly surprised. Just like the name 'essence' suggests, it is truly moisturizing. It penetrates the skin like an essence, making it deeply hydrated. And when you apply it, the absorption is incredibly fast. It just delivers moisture without leaving a slippery surface. So my skin becomes supple without any oiliness, which I personally find to be the best state for makeup application. Of course, it's great on its own too. Highly recommended.

As it lacks a tone-up effect, it may not be suitable for those seeking that benefit. Over time, it can feel slightly drying.

There's no white cast at all, so it's great to apply a lot. I've only been using sunscreen before, and the unique scent of sunscreen sometimes makes me feel nauseous or dizzy when I wear a mask, but this has none of that.
I was worried it might be sticky since it's a sun essence, but the stickiness goes away over time and it just feels perfectly soft and moisturized.
