1. It's great for evening out the overall complexion, especially in areas with dark spots like eyelids or around the mouth. 2. It barely transfers onto masks! 3. The staying power is impressive. When you first apply it, you might not even notice, but it seems to give a more radiant finish as time passes. 4. The packaging is really pretty. 1. It's extremely drying... From the moment you dab the cushion, you can feel a strong powdery texture. When applied to the face, it's really... On days when I haven't focused on hydration, it's a disaster. 2. There's no noticeable brightening effect. My skin has a slightly yellow undertone, and I can't tell the difference when I apply it. When applied over a brightening moisturizer, it gives a nice setting effect. On lazy days, if you hydrate your skin well, using this alone isn't bad for daily wear. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 4, 2022
It felt moisturizing when applied and had decent staying power. I was quite satisfied with how it barely darkened throughout the day. Even when it did wear off, it faded gracefully. For a moisture cushion, the finish was more semi-matte to matte than expected, and it wasn't as hydrating as I had hoped. This resulted in some patchiness. If you apply a good base beforehand, you'll be extremely satisfied with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2022
As someone with dry skin, I'm really conscious about makeup looking cakey, but this doesn't flake and gives a natural glow. It barely breaks down even after hours of wear. The staying power is just okay. It tends to settle into the creases around my nose, and if you don't get the amount right, it can feel quite heavy on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2020
As someone with sensitive, dry skin prone to blemishes if I use the wrong products, I'm pleased this one keeps my skin hydrated without causing any breakouts. Unfortunately, I accidentally bought a shade lighter than my complexion. While it's hard to give a definitive assessment, the coverage seems slightly lacking. - am********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 4, 2020
It's really great to apply in winter because it's so moisturizing! While a good skincare routine is always important, even when I'm in a rush and quickly apply my base products, this cushion keeps my skin hydrated, which I love. Like most hydrating products, the coverage isn't that impressive... When it breaks down, it tends to do so in an unattractive, patchy way. I don't think it would work well in summer when you sweat a lot. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2020
Skin type: Dry/Normal I don't often get acne or pimples on my face, and I don't have any redness. I have some slight freckles and dark spots around my cheekbones. When using cushions from other brands, I often felt like they applied thickly and emphasized dead skin cells, but I didn't experience any of those drawbacks with this product! I was worried that shade 17 might be too light, but as someone who usually uses a light 21 shade, it wasn't too bright for me! When you apply this cushion, it immediately gives your face a dewy glow, and over time it settles naturally! I found that if I did my makeup in the morning and touched it up once in the afternoon, it lasted well into the evening. It feels like it applies in a thin layer, so it's best to build it up gradually. This would be great for people who want a natural and quick makeup application! Those who prioritize coverage might find the concealing power a bit lacking. - ri*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2020
1. Suitable for dry skin While it's not extremely moisturizing or highly adhesive, I like that it applies with a hydrating feel and finishes without being sticky. It works well when used with a good skincare routine and cushion foundation. 2. Touch-ups It's also good for touch-ups. Personally, I use it when I need to do my makeup quickly without any corrections. 3. Packaging The magnetic case makes it convenient to use. The purple case is also pretty! 1. Color I feel like the vanilla shade might be lighter than expected, while the rosé tone seems a bit dark. 2. Not recommended for very dry skin It might feel a bit drying during fall and winter. Still, as someone who's always searching for the perfect cushion, I think this one hits the mark. Even after trying others, I find myself coming back to Hera. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2020
It creates such a beautiful skin finish! I applied it on my face after just basic skincare, without a primer, and the glow on my cheeks is absolutely stunning. I haven't tried it in summer, but from fall to winter, it's quite hydrating. If you do your skincare well, this product allows for a truly beautiful makeup application! There's a bit of transfer, and the case tends to collect fingerprints easily. Personally, I have oily skin on my nose, and without proper powder application, it tends to break down a bit, which is somewhat disappointing. - ki*******Normal SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2020
I bought this along with the Hera Glow Lasting Foundation as a birthday gift for my mom. Compared to the Black Cushion, this one has a magnetic closure instead of a push-button, making it effortlessly easy to open - a small but appreciated convenience. While the Black Cushion has a matte finish, this cushion is slightly less so. It's not super hydrating, but sits right in the middle - neither too dewy nor completely matte. If you're not a fan of overly moisturizing formulas but still want decent longevity, this cushion could be a good fit. Also, unlike the Black Cushion's polarizing scent (which I personally disliked), this one has a milder, more pleasant fragrance. It would be nice if it left fewer fingerprints and was a bit more hydrating. It pairs well with the Hera Glow Lasting Foundation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2020
My skin is dry, and other cushions often left my makeup looking cakey, but this one doesn't give that impression at all! It also applies lightly, so I'd recommend it to those who prefer a natural, your-skin-but-better look. It's moderately hydrating with good adherence, and I found it doesn't break down easily throughout the day. While it feels moisturizing when first applied, it seems to dry out a bit as time passes. Also, while it doesn't break down significantly, you might notice a slight increase in oiliness. However, I personally didn't find these issues too bothersome. The more you pat with the puff, the more it seems to enhance the glow and improve the adherence to the skin.
