The fragrance is lovely, and after using the conditioner first, I was so impressed with how it made my hair feel that I bought the shampoo too! I paid a pretty penny for this, but now I'm getting blemishes along my hairline. I'm really curious which ingredient might be causing this. - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2023
The fragrance is truly delightful (reminiscent of peaches). It effectively removes excess oil. After rinsing, hair feels lightweight and soft (though this could be due to using it in combination with conditioner and oil). Despite being marketed for damaged hair, it doesn't provide any nourishing sensation. In fact, it cleanses so thoroughly that it leaves hair feeling somewhat dry. I bought it hoping for a nourishing shampoo, but it's completely the opposite, which is disappointing. My scalp feels a bit irritated. The lather isn't rich enough, quickly dissipating when applied to the scalp, so I have to wash twice. This could be contributing to the irritation. Also, the price is incredibly steep. It's rather ambiguous. Neither bad nor particularly good. If it could tame frizz in rainy weather, I'd consider continued use, but it hasn't rained yet, so I'm unsure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2023
While the packaging is plastic, I like how clean and sleek it looks. The signature Oribe scent is present, but in a very subtle and delicate way. My scalp is generally healthy without blemishes, but this product caused excessive dandruff and red bumps all over my scalp (see photo). I bought it hoping to improve my hair texture, which makes this result very disappointing. I expected better ingredients from such an expensive and renowned hair care brand, but I'm thoroughly let down. - le*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2022
I loved using this as a set with the hair oil when it launched at Boon the Shop Cheongdam and P&F Plus My Boon. It's especially great for color-treated and damaged hair. It has above-average cleansing effectiveness, and even after shampooing twice, it doesn't leave your hair feeling stripped. Instead, it feels rich in hydration and nourishment, which I personally enjoyed. Due to its nourishing texture, I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive or oily scalps. You can use a separate scalp product and apply this only to your hair lengths. I recommend trying a complete line of Oribe products together for the best results. - ca******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2022
Among Oribe's products, this is from their most luxurious line - the Gold Lust shampoo. While the photo shows a tube, I'm using the version that comes in a plastic bottle. To be honest, I'm not sure what's particularly good about it. I can't really tell how it's different from regular shampoo. Oh, but the packaging is pretty! Have you seen the ingredients? Wow, it's really bad. With such a high price and those ingredients, there's no reason to use this. You can buy it a bit cheaper at SI Village or SSG. But I won't be repurchasing it anyway. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 3, 2022
Luxurious packaging The scent is quite pleasant It's not an exaggeration to say I bought it for the container alone The main drawback is its high price. I probably won't repurchase as I didn't see any significant results - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 16, 2022
The fragrance is absolutely delightful, and it leaves my hair feeling silky smooth, as if I've used a high-end conditioner. The luxurious design is also very satisfying. I noticed on Hwahae that it's full of potential allergens... Is it really safe to use? It's quite concerning... - ki**********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 11, 2021
The fragrance is subtle and pleasant. The shampoo has a shimmering golden hue, reminiscent of pearlescent particles. After washing, your hair feels moderately soft. While it's not quite enough to skip conditioner, it's still quite good. Overall, it's a solid choice. The ingredients are rather disappointing, especially considering the high price point. It makes me question whether it's worth using at all. - go*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2021
- The hair doesn't become stiff, and it lathers well even with a small amount. Although it's expensive, the quantity lasts a long time considering the volume. - The fragrance isn't irritating or overpowering, but rather sophisticated, which I really like. - While the ingredient list isn't the best, as you use it, you can feel your hair becoming healthier. My fine and weak hair seems to break less and gain a bit of elasticity. - The price is quite steep. - If you use this exclusively, your scalp might feel a bit congested, and you might occasionally get small blemishes. It's best to alternate with a scalp care shampoo. - I'd recommend trying this for fine, thin hair or dry, damaged hair. - The formula is quite rich, so it's best to use a small amount and lather well. - gk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 28, 2021
I bought this because I like Oribe's hair oil. The cleansing power is moderate, but it feels like it's nourishing my hair, which is great for someone with dry, thin hair like me. The fragrance is rich and lovely, and it lathers well. Oh my, the ingredients... What on earth? It feels like they've thrown in every allergenic component possible. I'm shocked after seeing the list. I'll have to be careful not to let it touch my facial skin. It would be disappointing to pay full price for this. It's best to purchase this with a discount from S.I.Village.
