The tone-up color is also natural, which I like, and it spreads well with just a small amount. It has a similar feel to old BB creams, but is much lighter than BB creams. After applying, my face looks radiant. Doing makeup is a hassle, so this is great for a quick, light outing.
ConsWhile the ad said it doesn't transfer onto masks, I still find that it does transfer a bit (it transfers for me). It only has tone-up functionality. The coverage is definitely lacking. I have freckles, and they are still quite visible, just a bit blurred.
TipYou need to spread a small amount over a wide area to avoid a chalky, floating look. Applying a thin layer even to the neck can achieve a natural tone-up effect. If you apply too thickly, it will become greasy and get scraped off by your nails. It's best to think of this as giving up coverage in exchange for a natural skin tone-up.

When you want some coverage but a sunscreen alone isn't enough, this is perfect for those days!
ConsIt transfers easily. The formula feels outdated, like something my mom's generation would use. It doesn't brighten at all; in fact, it makes my skin look half a shade darker. I'm confused about why it's called a brightening moisturizer. Shouldn't it make your complexion at least half a shade lighter? Instead, it darkens like foundation, making me look half a shade darker. Plus, it's excessively rich. I've stopped using it.

I experience hormonal acne once a month, and recently with mask-wearing, I've been getting breakouts around my chin area too. My skin tends to be oily in spring and summer, while it becomes combination dehydrated in fall and winter. When applied, this product transforms from a typical brightening moisturizer texture into a beige color, similar to a BB cream.
ConsI bought this hoping for a natural skin look without foundation, but it ends up looking more like a BB cream... It gives an awkward 'not quite made-up' appearance. It also transfers onto masks. I wouldn't recommend it for skin that's prone to deep dryness or has a lot of dead skin cells. While it applies smoothly, it tends to pill and makes the skin look uneven. The finish feels powdery, yet somehow oily? It just didn't work for me. I wanted a quick, foundation-free option, but there were too many factors to consider, which was disappointing.

It gives a natural glow and feels hydrating. Since I prefer a matte finish, I set it with powder.
ConsIt transfers a bit onto masks and phones. While it's good value for money and has many positives, it can make the skin look slightly oily.

There's no stickiness, which is fantastic.
ConsYou absolutely must wash your hands after applying. If you touch a white shirt or t-shirt without washing your hands, it leaves foundation-like marks.

The design is adorably cute.
ConsThe texture is quite thick and doesn't spread easily. It has an overly strong pink undertone. Due to its pink color, it transfers onto masks like foundation.

Works wonderfully as a brightening moisturizer too!
ConsI bought this because it claimed not to transfer onto masks, but unfortunately, it still rubs off a bit on the nose area. However, the transfer isn't too bad overall.
TipIf you gently pat your skin with a tissue once or twice after applying this, it'll transfer less onto your mask.

As for the good points, well...
ConsFor me, it's not bright at all, but rather a dull and dark reddish color. It doesn't make me look radiant, instead it makes me look gloomy. It also tends to settle into wrinkles and pores... The pigment transfers onto my mask, even though it's supposed to be transfer-proof.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsQuick summary: - Acts as a hydrating cream, brightening moisturizer, primer, and base all in one - Available in two shades: Light Peach: suitable for fair skin tones Medium Peach: ideal for medium skin tones - Moisturizing and creamy texture - Looks natural, but - May pill or separate if skincare isn't applied properly underneath Why I bought it: With mask-wearing being essential these days, I became interested in brightening moisturizers and decided to give this one a try. Pros: Shades: - Comes in two colors: Light Peach and Medium Peach, allowing for a natural makeup look that matches your complexion. Light Peach works well for fair skin tones, while Medium Peach suits medium skin tones. I was pleasantly surprised to find two color options, as most brightening moisturizers come in just one shade regardless of skin tone or brightness. Packaging: - Comes in a tube with a narrow opening, making it easy to control the amount dispensed. (See second photo) Application: - Unlike typical brightening moisturizers that can be thick and prone to pilling, this product has a moisturizing, creamy, and lightweight texture that glides on smoothly. It doesn't leave a white cast when applied over a large area. Instead of completely covering your skin in white, it naturally enhances your complexion with a beautiful peach glow. After applying skincare and this water-based brightening moisturizer alone, it creates a smooth, flawless finish that minimizes the appearance of pores and imperfections. Time-saving: - This all-in-one product combines hydrating cream, primer, sunscreen, and makeup base steps, making it convenient and efficient. It truly enables a foundation-free makeup routine! The sunscreen function offers SPF50+ PA+++ protection.
ConsCons: Application: - If your skincare routine isn't thorough or your skin condition isn't optimal, it may separate or pill. Ingredients: - Contains two potentially irritating ingredients, making it unsuitable for those with sensitive skin. While it worked fine for me, a friend with sensitive skin experienced blemishes, so I can't recommend it for sensitive skin types. Transfer: - Due to its tinted nature, it may transfer onto masks when worn. ---------------------------------------Overall verdict---------------------------------------- This product is definitely suitable for daily use when aiming for a foundation-free makeup look. It feels more comfortable on the skin than foundation, applying smoothly without dryness or stiffness, and leaves a dewy glow. However, it's disappointing that it can pill if your skin condition isn't great or if you haven't applied a thorough skincare routine underneath.
TipLight Peach is suitable for fair skin tones. Medium Peach works well for medium skin tones. -----Recommended for----- - Those with medium skin tones (23-25) who found traditional brightening moisturizers too light! (Give Medium Peach a try) - Anyone looking for a brightening moisturizer due to mask-wearing! - Those seeking a moisturizing and natural-looking brightening moisturizer! -----Not recommended for----- - People with super sensitive skin! - Those who want to avoid any transfer onto masks!

ConsI was hoping to find a brightening moisturizer that wouldn't transfer onto my mask, so I did a ton of research before buying this. But now I wonder if all those reviews were just ads... It transfers onto my mask so badly that I had to stop using it after just two days. What's worse, instead of brightening, it seems to dull my complexion. Rather than looking radiant, it makes me look sickly and yellowish. It's not even particularly hydrating. The final straw was when I got a massive blemish on my cheek after only two days of use. I'm so disappointed... I had heard good things about Cho Sung Ah cosmetics, but this is just awful.
