As one of the most sought-after products for expectant mothers, I decided to give it a try. It's common to see people buying the Clarins oil and cream as a set. The product absorbs beautifully, leaving your skin feeling incredibly soft. There's a subtle fragrance, which I was able to tolerate even during bouts of morning sickness. The price point is the biggest drawback - it's quite expensive. I was also surprised by the scent, as I expected a fragrance-free formula for a stretch mark cream. While I could use it during my nauseous phase, it wasn't really to my liking. Although it absorbs well, it leaves a slightly dry feeling, requiring generous application. Given the high price, I'm hesitant about repurchasing. The packaging is also a bit challenging to use. You need to squeeze hard to get the product out, and it comes out in tiny amounts, which is frustrating. If you don't store it upright, you'll end up with air pumping issues later on. This happened even when the tube was still quite full. If you find it drying, apply liberally. Always store the tube upright to minimize air pumping issues. - re******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2025
From before childbirth, I've been using it, and they even apply it to the upper part of my C-section and my buttocks at the postpartum care center. It seems to have good moisturizing power without any trouble. Is it the price? Compared to the user experience of Clarins products, the price is considered unreasonably high. It doesn't seem like the ingredients are particularly exceptional either... While receiving it as a gift feels nice, I probably wouldn't purchase it with my own money! - wj**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 15, 2025
I received a bottle as a gift and used it well for about 2 months! It was much better than Atopalm. I loved the smooth application and the fact that it's fragrance-free. Most importantly, I'm about to give birth soon without any blemishes appearing! It's moisturizing without being sticky, and leaves my skin feeling fresh and nice. The amount dispensed with one pump is too small. You need to pump at least 5 times in 4 different areas to cover your belly. That was a bit inconvenient. There's also a slight ethanol scent to it. When the pump stopped working, I cut it open and found about 1/4 of the product stuck around the pump mechanism! This will last me another 10 days at least...! - 12****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 29, 2025
As a 28-week pregnant woman with dry skin, I find this product excellent! The fragrance is almost non-existent, making it suitable even for those sensitive to scents. It absorbs beautifully, spreading smoothly without leaving any white cast. Rather than having a rich texture, it applies with a gentle, lightweight feel. The cap design is great for hygiene, and the pump dispenser keeps things clean and easy to use. Highly recommended for those who dislike heavy formulations! As someone who prefers richer formulas, I find it slightly lacking. For those with extremely dry skin, you might need to apply twice a day to feel fully moisturized. - fk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 17, 2025
I've tried stretch mark creams from three different brands, and considering the application and scent, this one was the best! As someone with dry skin, I was very satisfied with how long the moisturizing effect lasted after applying. Since it's a pump bottle, it might be difficult to pump out the product when you've used some of it. - na****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 15, 2025
It's so soft and moisturizing, I love it! When I use it with oil, the hydration is absolutely amazing. I received it as a gift and used it, but the price is a bit high, which makes it somewhat burdensome. - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessMar 2, 2025
I received this as a gift and used it from mid to late pregnancy. As someone with dry skin in winter, I found it absorbs well and has a nice texture. Some reviews mentioned pilling, but I didn't experience that. After absorption, it leaves a silky finish. It feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin. I think the drawbacks outweigh the benefits: 1. It's expensive - There are many affordable and generous products out there, but this one is overpriced in comparison. I've also used Atopalm Illiyoon stretch mark cream, and among the three, this has the worst value for money. I didn't find it particularly superior either. 2. The pump dispenses too little product - In late pregnancy, I had to pump at least 5-6 times for one use. The belly gets really big in late pregnancy, so I don't understand why they designed it to dispense such small amounts. 3. Inconvenient storage - The tube design makes it difficult to stand upright. To keep it standing, you always have to close the cap after use, which is a hassle. If you have dry skin, use this along with a stretch mark oil. While the stretch mark oil from the same brand isn't bad, I recommend the Atopalm stretch mark oil. - jh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2025
It absorbs well with a lightweight feel. The gift package includes a cute doll. When using just the cream, it feels too light, making me want to apply oil on top. However, it pills. The moisturizing effect is so minimal that I end up not using it. - lu*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 4, 2024
I used this cream to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy, and I loved how moisturizing it was and how well it absorbed into my skin. While the pump tube packaging is convenient, it becomes a bit tricky to use when there's not much product left. I think it works even better when used together with Clarins body oil. - al*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2024
The scent isn't overpowering, and it absorbs really well! I've heard the ingredients are good too, so I apply it with confidence. I wish it had a pump dispenser. Opening and closing the lid is a bit of a hassle.
