I'm using up the last bits efficiently. My family gave it to me, and I've been using it as instructed - applying it on damp skin after showering. The fragrance is decent enough. Body skin brightening isn't really my concern. I'm fine with my natural tan. I can't say I've noticed any significant effects. Plus, it feels like a dry emulsion on my skin. - dl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2024
I'm on my third bottle of this because it gives such a natural brightening effect without any transfer. My skin is already quite fair, but this makes it even more radiant. I'm really satisfied with how it enhances my complexion. It absorbs well into the skin without leaving any residue. The price is really steep, unfortunately. It runs out quite quickly, which makes it even more expensive. That's really the only downside I can think of. Despite the high cost, I'm hesitant to try other brightening moisturizers. I'm worried they might transfer easily or cause pilling, and I don't want to waste money. So for now, I'm sticking with this one. - de*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 11, 2024
Texture: It's like a lightweight sunscreen! The consistency is quite fluid. Easy to use: How convenient is it to just quickly rub it on while showering and rinse it off? Super simple! Pleasant scent: It's not unscented, but has a subtle baby powder fragrance that's not off-putting. Rinses off well: It washes away easily with water, so no worries about residue. Natural brightening: I love that it brightens subtly, not artificially. Price: Honestly... isn't 40,000 won retail price a bit much? The value for money is quite low compared to its performance, unfortunately. Don't expect dramatic results: In my case, I only noticed a slight brightening right after use. It feels like my skin tone reverts back to normal after a while. For those with dry skin, a body cream is essential. Your skin might crack without it. - ha**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2022
I've been using this for 3 years now, ever since I saw it advertised on Facebook. It works great for me! I use it on my face occasionally too. Recently, when my skin reacted badly to a cushion foundation, I switched to using only this. 1. It can change your skin tone The effect might vary depending on your natural skin color and personal color. Very dark-skinned people might end up with an ashy look, while it might not be noticeable on very fair skin. Recommended for those with a medium skin tone. 2. No blemishes or allergic reactions I've had no issues in 3 years of use. If you don't have any known sensitivities to the ingredients, I'd recommend it. 3. Long-lasting It lasts a long time on the body. On the face, it absorbs quicker than expected, but you can put some in an empty cushion compact to reapply on-the-go. 4. Slight brightening effect With consistent use, I've noticed my overall complexion has become a bit brighter. 1. While it contains sunscreen ingredients, it's not effective as a sunscreen. I wish they had added physical UV blockers for better protection. 2. Might not work for very dry skin In winter, it can sometimes leave a white cast due to dryness. However, my friend with dry skin finds it moisturizing. It seems to vary person to person. 3. Quantity vs. Price The amount seems generous at first, but if you use it daily on both face and body, it runs out quickly. The price might be a bit high for students on a budget. 4. Slight graininess It absorbs quickly without irritation, but occasionally you might feel a slight grittiness, which could be bothersome for some. 5. Misleading claims They used to advertise that you don't need to cleanse and can sleep with it on. Honestly, you should always cleanse. Sleeping with it on could clog pores and stress your skin, even if they claim it doesn't. For facial use, cleanse first, apply your skincare routine, then use this product without rinsing. For body use, you don't necessarily need to wash beforehand. If you need complete sun protection, either mix this with a sunscreen or apply sunscreen first, then layer this on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2022
It definitely brightens the skin. The lasting power is quite good too. For me, it seems to stay on all day unless I wash it off. If you don't control the amount, it can look very white and ashy. If you apply it without exfoliating or scrubbing, it can really emphasize dead skin cells. Director Pi classified this product as disappointing. It's likely because it has a high chance of leaving residue on the skin even after cleansing, and the ingredients aren't particularly beneficial for the skin. - da*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2022
The instant and definite brightening effect was absolutely the best thing about it Although it's a body product, it said it could be used on the face too. I tried it once and suffered from an allergic reaction. Lesson learned: body products should only be used on the body! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2022
Enhances your complexion by one shade without transferring, giving you a natural boost While it doesn't transfer much, it doesn't dramatically brighten your complexion - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 2, 2021
I loved how it instantly brightened my skin and had a pleasant scent. The generous amount was more than I expected, making it convenient and easy to use! Unfortunately, when I try to apply sunscreen, it disrupts the brightening effect. Also, it's a bit on the pricey side. Make sure to exfoliate with a body wash to remove dead skin cells before applying. There's a noticeable difference between using it on exfoliated skin versus non-exfoliated skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2021
When you first apply it, the brightening effect is incredible. I'm usually shade 24, but with this, I transform into a 21 or even 20 shade - practically porcelain-skinned! As a student, I find the staying power disappointing. By the fourth period, my complexion reverts to its original state. The brightening effect really fades when applied to the face. Also, the price point seems a bit steep for what it offers. For best results, moisturize thoroughly before use. After being outside, cleanse well with body wash. I've found that exfoliating before application seems to enhance its effectiveness. - gh******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2021
It does have some brightening effect. When you layer it on, your complexion seems to become a bit more even. It feels a bit heavy on the skin. Perhaps due to dead skin cells, it can look like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than absorbing.
