While there isn't much excess powder flying around, that's about the only negative thing I can say!

The contouring is not too intense or unnatural, but creates a beautifully subtle shadow effect! I've been using it so enthusiastically that I've nearly hit pan!

It creates a gray-toned shadow without any redness or yellowness. As someone who prefers shadow colors, I'm absolutely loving this. It applies like a natural shadow without feeling heavy or looking out of place on the face, making it my holy grail product. There's no clumping, and it blends evenly, so you can confidently brush it on even over a dewy foundation. My complexion is around shade 24-25, which is a bit on the tan side. Many contour products on the market are often lighter than my skin tone, but this one has a darker hue that works perfectly as a contour for my complexion.

It's perfect for creating natural and beautiful makeup, including shadow and no-makeup looks. You can even use it as an eyeshadow on your eyelids to create a subtle, dimensional effect!

About a decade ago, I tried A'pieu cosmetics and wasn't impressed, which left me with a negative impression of the brand. However, after the success of their Waterlock Cushion and now receiving this product, my opinion has completely changed.

I got shade #3 Taupe Gray, which is perfect for cool-toned skin. They really nailed the color selection. With three shades available, they've cleverly distributed the amounts, putting less of the darkest color since it's used sparingly.

This product has a pressed powder-like texture that's not crumbly, making it easy to control the amount you use. When applied to the outer areas of the face, it controls oil and defines contours without drying out the skin.

The color intensity is just right - not too dark, which is great!

The darkest shade doesn't get much use. The packaging looks a bit cheap.

A shading that's not too yellow, making it suitable for cool tones but also wearable for warm tones without much concern. It creates a natural-looking contour.

Later on, as the top two shades fade away, only the bottom color remains, which can sometimes look a bit patchy or uneven

The staying power is decent and the color payoff is great, making it perfect for a quick touch-up on the go

While there were aspects I liked, there were definitely some downsides. There's a bit of excess powder, and I felt the darkest shade of the three colors was a bit small. However, considering the price, everything is forgivable!

A brutally honest review (makeup edition)

Color: #Summer Cool Light (I thought I had a deep undertone, but a personal color analysis showed I'm a Summer Cool Mute!)

It was on sale for around 7,000 won at CP, which was super cheap. I usually use another brand, but I wanted to try something new, so I bought it!

My first impression was 'Oh? They nailed the color!' I usually use PP cool-toned contour, but this was much cooler!

I like to contour a bit heavily, and I love the color range from the darkest shade to the medium tone. Honestly, with contour, you usually just swirl a big brush in it and apply, right? That's how I do it, and even with that method, it doesn't clump and applies smoothly! I also like that you can control the intensity - apply heavily for a stronger contour or lightly for a natural look.

Hmm, no matter how much I think about it, I can't find any downsides.

I snagged this for about 6,000 won during a flash sale on Hwahae. It's pretty decent and works well for cool-toned skin.

I recommend applying it moderately. If you put on too much, it doesn't look shadowy, but rather strange, as if your skin is dirty.

Considering the price, there's nothing to complain about... but if I had to nitpick, maybe the lack of a mirror?

Oh my! As a warm-toned person, I was taken aback when I first applied it. It came out much grayer than expected. On me, it doesn't create a shadow effect but rather looks like I've got dirt on my face... So disappointing. I guess this is strictly for cool-toned folks...

It applies with a milky hue and absolutely no redness on my skin. The actual color is much less red and more grayish than in the attached photo. It blends beautifully for a smooth finish.

While it does have a slight grayish tint, there's also a hint of warmth to it... If you're after a more pronounced ashy tone, I'd recommend a different product.

As someone with cool undertones, I was looking for a contour with a grayish tint, and this is perfect! It has even more of an ashy tone than Too Cool For School.
