The contouring is not too intense or unnatural, but creates a beautifully subtle shadow effect! I've been using it so enthusiastically that I've nearly hit pan! While there isn't much excess powder flying around, that's about the only negative thing I can say! - ju*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
It creates a gray-toned shadow without any redness or yellowness. As someone who prefers shadow colors, I'm absolutely loving this. It applies like a natural shadow without feeling heavy or looking out of place on the face, making it my holy grail product. There's no clumping, and it blends evenly, so you can confidently brush it on even over a dewy foundation. My complexion is around shade 24-25, which is a bit on the tan side. Many contour products on the market are often lighter than my skin tone, but this one has a darker hue that works perfectly as a contour for my complexion. Those with fair skin might find it a bit dark. I'm not sure if it's my brush, but there is some excess powder fallout... - db*******Oily SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 24, 2024
> I'm on my Nth repurchase of this product It's great for easy contouring with a natural shade that's not too dark and doesn't cause redness > It's also one of the more affordable options among shading products > There's nothing particularly negative to say, I'm satisfied with it. It's reasonably priced and the size is just right It's perfect for creating natural and beautiful makeup, including shadow and no-makeup looks. You can even use it as an eyeshadow on your eyelids to create a subtle, dimensional effect! - im*********Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 21, 2024
About a decade ago, I tried A'pieu cosmetics and wasn't impressed, which left me with a negative impression of the brand. However, after the success of their Waterlock Cushion and now receiving this product, my opinion has completely changed. I got shade #3 Taupe Gray, which is perfect for cool-toned skin. They really nailed the color selection. With three shades available, they've cleverly distributed the amounts, putting less of the darkest color since it's used sparingly. This product has a pressed powder-like texture that's not crumbly, making it easy to control the amount you use. When applied to the outer areas of the face, it controls oil and defines contours without drying out the skin. The color intensity is just right - not too dark, which is great! It's unfortunate that A'pieu stores have become so scarce. They're no longer easily found everywhere. I used to use Peripera's shading product, but this one feels firmer in comparison. Personally, I really love this product. I definitely plan to repurchase it, and the packaging is cute too! - ra*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 25, 2024
A shading that's not too yellow, making it suitable for cool tones but also wearable for warm tones without much concern. It creates a natural-looking contour. The darkest shade doesn't get much use. The packaging looks a bit cheap. - ji*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 17, 2024
The staying power is decent and the color payoff is great, making it perfect for a quick touch-up on the go Later on, as the top two shades fade away, only the bottom color remains, which can sometimes look a bit patchy or uneven - si*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 1, 2024
A brutally honest review (makeup edition) Skin condition: Milia/enlarged pores/acne/redness (all over face - diagnosed by a doctor) Color: #Summer Cool Light (I thought I had a deep undertone, but a personal color analysis showed I'm a Summer Cool Mute!) •Preferred products (base makeup) Pore coverage > Pink base (preferred) > Long-lasting > Brightening > Coverage •Preferred products (eyeshadows) Color payoff, longevity > Doesn't settle into fine lines > Pigmentation Review time! It was on sale for around 7,000 won at CP, which was super cheap. I usually use another brand, but I wanted to try something new, so I bought it! My first impression was 'Oh? They nailed the color!' I usually use PP cool-toned contour, but this was much cooler! I like to contour a bit heavily, and I love the color range from the darkest shade to the medium tone. Honestly, with contour, you usually just swirl a big brush in it and apply, right? That's how I do it, and even with that method, it doesn't clump and applies smoothly! I also like that you can control the intensity - apply heavily for a stronger contour or lightly for a natural look. *I used to be active on Hwahae under the nickname KingJjanggu, but due to login issues, I created a new account. Looking forward to interacting with you all (bows) While there were aspects I liked, there were definitely some downsides. There's a bit of excess powder, and I felt the darkest shade of the three colors was a bit small. However, considering the price, everything is forgivable! +I deducted one star because of the excess powder! Summary for those who don't want to read long reviews [All scores are out of 5 points!] ⭐️: 1 point ✨: 0.5 points Pigmentation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excess powder: ⭐️⭐️ (More stars mean less excess powder!) Color range: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Longevity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Even just looking at the summary score, you can see this product is great! I recommend it! Make sure to buy it from CT~!! - ik******Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
I snagged this for about 6,000 won during a flash sale on Hwahae. It's pretty decent and works well for cool-toned skin. Hmm, no matter how much I think about it, I can't find any downsides. - el*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 25, 2023
I quickly ordered this on a flash sale, and the price was incredibly affordable (bought it for around $6-7). The quantity is more than I expected, so it'll last a long time. Considering the price, there's nothing to complain about... but if I had to nitpick, maybe the lack of a mirror? I recommend applying it moderately. If you put on too much, it doesn't look shadowy, but rather strange, as if your skin is dirty. - sa*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2023
I bought this with some skepticism, but it truly delivers in creating proper shadow contours. It's a cool-toned contouring product with amazing value for money. There's absolutely no red or yellow undertone, just pure grey... It's the real deal for shadow contouring, giving a very natural-looking depth. After swatching it, I literally said out loud, 'This is the holy grail...' I've spent years struggling to find the perfect cool-toned contouring product, even considering overseas purchases, but finally, my search is over. A'pieu has really outdone themselves with this one. I'm still unsure about this product. It's difficult to provide a detailed critique when I haven't formed a solid opinion yet. As someone who's been professionally color-typed, I dare say that cool-toned individuals are generally advised to opt for clear makeup rather than contouring. If you do use this product, I recommend applying it as thinly as possible (control the amount for a sheer application) for the best results.
