The comfortable feel and gentle application on the skin are quite nice It's a bit disappointing that there's a slight ashy tint, and overall the shade is quite dark. Even when mixed with a brightening moisturizer, it still remains dark, which is unfortunate. (For reference, my complexion is around shade 21) - os********Dehydrated SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 5, 2024
I'm very satisfied with this sunscreen as it also evens skin tone. I use it daily and love it. Hmm... It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get. But then again, Paula's Choice products are known for their higher price range. - as*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 2, 2024
This is hands down the best brightening moisturizer with SPF I've ever used. I was absolutely blown away when I first tried it. Even when I touch up my makeup, it doesn't cake and just melts into the skin beautifully. I bet if this came out as a cushion foundation, it would be a massive hit. Some reviews mention that the UVA protection isn't specified, but since it's broad-spectrum, it does include UVA protection. I initially couldn't find any faults as I was so satisfied using it. If I had to pick something, maybe the price? But I need to update this. After using it for a few days, I noticed some small bumps appearing. I thought, 'Everything else is great, what's going on? Is it not cleansing off well?' Then I found out it's not a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen, but a nano-particle sunscreen that can potentially clog pores. Oh, it's really so good in every other way, why the blemishes... There's nothing else quite like it. I use this instead of foundation. - jj********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedOct 30, 2024
The sunscreen absorbs well and nicely evens skin tone. It's perfect for light, everyday use. It's disappointing that it only has an SPF rating without a PA rating. I wish they'd include information about the PA index too. - vi****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2024
Absorbs well, leaves skin feeling soft and matte. No need for double cleansing. While it doesn't cause irritation, it can clog pores, making it less suitable for acne-prone skin. Can be used as a substitute for primer or foundation when you only want to apply powder makeup. - ms********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2024
I loved how smoothly it applied and naturally brightened my complexion. Even with my blemish-prone skin, I had no issues at all! Personally, I didn't have any problems. If I had to nitpick, it does feel a bit rich. As someone with dry skin, I actually liked this, but it might not suit those with oily skin types. - kx******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 31, 2024
Great for men too - it offers complexion correction without feeling heavy. It can get a bit greasy over time, so be careful when putting on or taking off shirts. For longer-lasting wear without shine, try using it with an oil-control powder. - ku******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsAug 24, 2024
This product gives you that American skincare enthusiast vibe while staying true to the brand image. I remember often receiving travel-sized products during promotions. In the Paula's Choice range, it's reasonably priced with guaranteed performance. It applies smoothly with excellent adherence, offers slight skin correction, and provides minimal coverage (better than nothing!). It doesn't cause blemishes or irritate the eyes. The formula is truly oil-free, allowing you to skip blotting papers for at least half a day. However, it tends to melt away with sweat... and feels slightly heavy on the skin. The oddly ashy BB cream-like color isn't great for those with deep undertones... It doesn't play well with makeup, causing it to shift. It's not dramatically sliding off, but maybe I just haven't found products that work well with this formula... I wish they'd offer the same product in a slightly more ivory shade... As a global brand, perhaps this single tone was their best option, but I wonder if light, medium, and dark shades would be too challenging... Nonetheless, I'm still using it for workouts. - so**********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2024
It doesn't leave a greasy shine. It stays put even during sweaty outdoor activities. I love that it's less irritating to my skin compared to SPF50 products. It takes longer to absorb compared to other products, with a white cast for the first few minutes. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. Occasionally, there's an earthy scent. - de*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2024
It's really great for those with oily skin. It adheres well without sliding off. However, the staying power and coverage aren't that impressive. It's just like a regular sunscreen.
