Pros
The biggest advantage is that it doesn't irritate the skin! My skin is so sensitive that I have to take off regular sheet masks after just 5 minutes. I really didn't need to use a mask pack, but I bought the Dokdo Mask when it was on sale at Olive Young, and wow, there was not a single stinging sensation. This is the first time in my life. I've tried all the highly-rated mask packs, but every single one of them caused stinging. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the ingredients or the sheet, but right now the Dokdo Mask is the only pack I can use for over 10 minutes, so I'm completely loyal to it.
Cons
It's very moisturizing, so even someone with combination skin like me can use it without feeling too greasy. This is an advantage for me, but it might be a downside for those with dry skin. Since there's no oil, the moisture doesn't cling to the skin and just evaporates quickly...
Tip
It's great to use a hair dryer while the mask is on your face - your skin won't get dried out.

Even though it's labeled as a gel formula, it doesn't run or drip. Just as the name suggests, it's full of moisture and doesn't leave a sticky or tacky feeling. After removing it, there's no lingering warmth and my skin feels refreshed and clarified. The next morning when I washed my face, any minor blemishes had cleared up and my skin felt completely smooth... I immediately bought 10 more, it's that good.
Cons
Those with severely dry or dehydrated skin may find it slightly drying. It doesn't have that intensely nourishing feel, but rather a lightweight, water-based essence-like texture.

Pros
The sheet mask felt incredibly nice. It had a jellyfish salad-like texture? The gel formula worked well and it had a cooling sensation, which I really liked. I also felt like it provided good hydration.
Cons
It was a bit more oily than I expected. I thought it would be light and super hydrating like the Dokdo toner, but the lotion that came as a gift was also quite oily. If you're expecting a water-gel type of mask that's super hydrating, you might be disappointed.
Tip
You absolutely must keep this in the fridge before using it...

❤️ Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review ❤️ Skin Type: Dehydrated Oily 1️⃣ Essence Amount: I was surprised by the generous amount of essence in the pack! It seemed to have much more essence than regular sheet masks. There was enough to apply to my arms and legs as well! 2️⃣ Cooling/Soothing: Even without refrigerating the pack, I felt an amazing cooling sensation as soon as I applied it. It also had a great soothing effect. It would be perfect to use in the summer. 3️⃣ Fragrance-free: As many are sensitive to fragrances, I'm glad this product is almost fragrance-free, so it's not irritating.
