  Pros

  The subtle coconut scent makes it pleasant to use while shampooing without any discomfort. I also liked that it lathers up well.

  Cons

  While the fragrance was nice and it lathered well, giving the impression of good cleansing effectiveness, for some reason, my scalp started to smell just a few hours after washing. It was quite disappointing.

  When your hair feels dry and lacks shine, this shampoo can really bring it back to life. As someone with an oily scalp, I usually stick to shampoos for oily hair, but in the dead of winter, my hair would get so dry and frizzy from static. I started using this as my winter shampoo, and it's been great - my hair regained its shine and became more manageable. The coconut ingredient, which acts as a natural surfactant, creates the richest, most luxurious lather among all the products in this line. It's like using a high-end salon shampoo! It has a sweet coconut scent that lingers - I can still smell it the next day after washing my hair at night. (Though the fragrance might be a hit or miss for some people.)

  Cons

  If you have an oily scalp, be careful as this could potentially make it greasier. Since I have an oily scalp, using this continuously seemed to over-nourish my hair. It made my scalp produce more oil and get greasy faster, which might have led to a quicker buildup of scalp impurities. I even started getting a few blemishes on my scalp, unfortunately.

  Tip

  As someone with an oily scalp, I usually avoid conditioners (even those designed for oily scalps) and primarily use shampoos for oily hair. However, I hate how dry and lifeless my hair gets in winter. So, I recommend alternating between your regular oily scalp shampoo and this one, depending on the condition of your scalp and hair. This method works wonders for me!

  This product is well-known and made with natural ingredients, so I bought it without hesitation. The only advantage for me seems to be the affordable price.

  Cons

  I have dry skin and often experience dead skin cells flaking off. After using this shampoo just twice - yes, only twice - my scalp went haywire! I'm dealing with dandruff, pus, and even bleeding. While individual results may vary, I strongly caution those considering purchasing this product to be very careful.

  Pros

  I've been using this product for over 4 months, finishing one bottle and now on my second. Honestly, it's been my favorite shampoo so far. As someone with an oily scalp, strong cleansing shampoos usually leave my hair feeling stiff, but this one keeps it relatively soft. I used it from fall through winter. It lathers beautifully, prevents dandruff, and controls oil well. There were times when I was lazy and didn't wash my hair for 4 days, and it still didn't get too greasy.

  Cons

  I wanted to make this my holy grail product, but I had to stop using it due to an ingredient that causes allergies for me. I've been dealing with contact dermatitis on the back of my neck since summer, and it keeps flaring up. I'm taking a break from it now, suspecting it might be due to an ingredient.

  Tip

  Using a foaming net creates rich lather, so you only need a small amount to wash your hair effectively.
