The scent is also quite pleasant, not overpowering at all.
ConsWhen I apply it to my face, I feel a burning sensation. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but while it doesn't happen when I test it on my hands, my face feels hot when I use it there. It's causing some blemishes to appear on my face.
TipSince it doesn't suit my facial skin, I've decided to use it as a body lotion instead.

The scent isn't overpowering either.
ConsIt's oilier than expected. Despite claims of being matte, it actually feels quite rich. When reapplying, there's a noticeable increase in white cast.

The fragrance is pleasant too. With Tinosorb M and Avobenzone, you can expect powerful UV protection. It's a great combination for photostability as well. There's a moderate white cast.
ConsIt can sting a bit when applied after shaving. The product doesn't feel extremely gentle. That being said, it didn't cause any blemishes. The price is a bit on the higher side.
TipI wanted to try a sunscreen with Tinosorb M, so I bought this along with Bioderma Aquafluide. I'm quite satisfied with it. I recommend purchasing it when there's a discount at the drugstore.

The signature Avène scent is lovely..? While some might not be fans, I personally enjoy the fragrance of most Avène products. It has that dermatological feel! 2. Matte texture I'm prone to blemishes, so I'm not a fan of oily cosmetics. I tested this at Olive Young and loved its matte feel, which led me to purchase it. Despite having a moisturizing, fluid texture that slightly evens skin tone, it adheres to the skin with a pleasantly powdery finish. 3. Pore-minimizing primer My pores aren't extremely large, just slightly noticeable on my nose and cheeks. This sunscreen covers small pores well even without a primer. It's perfect for those days when I want light makeup and can skip the primer!
Cons1. Dryness While I love the Avène brand, this product is a no-go.. At first, the matte finish is nice, but then it feels like it's sucking all the moisture from my skin. This might be due to my combination skin - my cheeks don't produce much oil. After a while, it feels like a thin film forms on the skin, which then tightens and pulls on the skin beneath. 2. Blemishes Perhaps due to the intense dryness, it causes itchy blemishes! These are raised, bumpy, and irritatingly itchy - the type of blemishes I hate the most! 3. Burning sensation If you don't apply enough hydrating skincare beforehand, it stings when you first apply it. I suspect it's because it's an acne-specific product designed to mattify the skin, so it might be drawing out moisture too. The stinging subsides after a few seconds, but it's particularly noticeable when I've skimped on my skincare routine! I wonder if it stings because there isn't enough of a protective oil barrier when the skincare is insufficient.. Looking back, it seems like the worst sunscreen ever! It really didn't work for me. The Cleanance line is known for acne-prone skin, but I think it could be irritating even for those with blemish-prone skin..
