The scent is also quite pleasant, not overpowering.
ConsWhen I apply it, I feel a burning sensation on my face. At first, I thought it was just my imagination, but it doesn't happen when I test it on my hand, only when I apply it to my face. It also causes some breakouts on my skin.
TipSince it doesn't seem to agree with my face, I will switch to using it on my body instead.

The smell is not too strong either.
ConsIt's greasier than I expected. It feels oily, even though it's supposed to be matte. There is also a sense that the whitening becomes more severe when you reapply it.

It suits my skin well. And the scent is nice. With Tinosorb M + avobenzone, it provides strong UV protection. It's a great combination with good photostability. It has a moderate white cast.
ConsIt stings a bit when I apply it after shaving. It doesn't feel super gentle. But it didn't cause any breakouts. It's a bit pricey.
TipI wanted to try a sunscreen with Tinosorb M, so I bought this along with the Bioderma Aquafluid. I'm satisfied with it. Purchase it when there's a drugstore discount.

The unique scent of Avène is pleasant..? Of course, there may be those who dislike it, but I find the scent of most Avène products to be quite nice. It has a dermatological feel! 2. Matte texture I don't really like oily cosmetics because I tend to have acne and other skin troubles. I tested it at Olive Young and liked the matte feel, so I bought it. It has a slight tone-up effect and a moisturizing, yet powdery and adhering texture. 3. Pore primer My pores are not extremely large, but I have a few on my nose and cheeks. The smaller pores are well covered even without using a primer. I used this sunscreen when I wanted to do light makeup and skipped the primer.
Cons1. Dryness I really love the Avène brand, but this product is a no-go.. At first, it's great because it's matte, but I suffer from a dryness that seems to suck the moisture out of my skin.. It might be because I have a combination skin type! My cheeks don't get overly oily, you see. After applying, over time, it feels like a thin film is formed on the skin, and as this film is pulled, my skin gets stretched along with it. 2. Breakouts Due to the severe dryness, irritating breakouts have come up! They are bumpy, rough, and itchy breakouts, which I really dislike. 3. Stinging If I don't properly moisturize my skin beforehand, it stings when I apply this. I suspect it's because this is an acne-targeted product, and it tries to mattify the skin by drawing out moisture, which ends up irritating my skin.. The stinging goes away after a few seconds, but it's particularly uncomfortable when I haven't prepped my skin well enough!! It might be because without an adequate oil barrier, my skin gets irritated.. In retrospect, this is the worst sunscreen.. It just didn't work for me. I thought the Cleanance line was for acne-prone skin, but it seems to be irritating for my acne-prone skin as well.
