Maybe it's because my skin is too dry, but I didn't feel it was as hydrating as I expected. When applied, it feels rich. The day after using it, my skin turned red and blemishes popped up all over my face like tiny grains. I had used their mist before because I heard it was good, and I got similar small pimples then, but this time it was even worse.

The scent is pleasant and it applies smoothly. Other than that, I can't find any particularly good points. It just didn't work well for me.

For dry skin, it's not enough on its own. Just buy something cheaper.

I didn't have any breakouts with other cosmetics, but after using this product, I got breakouts all over my face..ㅠㅠ

I stopped using it right away and switched to a product with no harmful ingredients, and recovered in 2 weeks, but the scars are still there..

I was looking for a more affordable alternative since this one is small in size and on the pricier side, but when I tried switching, my troubles came back, so I've decided to stick with this.
By the way, I have super sensitive skin that breaks out within a week whenever I use any kind of foundation, cushion, or other color cosmetics. I'm extremely reactive to any irritating ingredients.
If this works so well for my problematic skin, it should be gentle enough for most people.

Using the Avène Mist and Avène Hydrance Rehydrating Serum together is amazing!!! It's gentle, glides on smoothly, and absorbs well. Before using this, I tried a different brand's trouble care line, but I didn't see any effects and my issues only got worse. But after switching to the Avène basics, my troubles are gone. I want to use this forever♡ I'm currently using a different brand's moisturizer, but if Avène could release a standalone moisturizer, not the Japanese one, I'd definitely switch over.
