The scent is pleasant and it applies smoothly. Other than that, I can't find any particularly good points. It just didn't work well for me. Maybe it's because my skin is too dry, but I didn't feel it was as hydrating as I expected. When applied, it feels rich. The day after using it, my skin turned red and blemishes popped up all over my face like tiny grains. I had used their mist before because I heard it was good, and I got similar small pimples then, but this time it was even worse. Even if there are no harmful ingredients, it might not suit your skin. Make sure to test it before using regularly. Don't suffer like I did! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2022
It's moisturizing and decent... just average. You could spend this money on something else. For dry skin, it's not enough on its own. Just buy something cheaper. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 5, 2020
The application was decent. It basically just keeps your skin moisturized, nothing more. I never had blemishes with other cosmetics' fragrances, but after using this product, my entire face broke out. Even though blemishes appeared from day one, I thought, 'Surely it can't be because of this?' So I didn't stop using it immediately. After just three days of application, my whole face was a mess. I immediately discontinued use and switched to a product with no harmful ingredients, even though it doesn't apply as smoothly. It took two weeks to recover, but I still have scars. I'm so upset. I'm using it as a body lotion now... ha ha. It definitely helps with dryness. For those whose skin agrees with it, this could be an amazing product. It just didn't work for me. - se******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 3, 2020
I've been using this for nearly a decade. The product itself is decent, but considering the price, it might not be worth it. You can't apply makeup over it as it pills. It's only suitable for nighttime use. It's non-sticky and absorbs quickly. The fast absorption and fresh feel make it great for oily skin types. It provides just the right amount of hydration. Dry skin types might regret purchasing this. It's too expensive for the amount you get, and it's tricky to use effectively. For me, it feels greasy in summer and causes deep dryness in winter. - zd*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2020
Hydrating and recommended for sensitive skin! The scent is mild and it absorbs smoothly. It's just an average emulsion, nothing particularly special about it. It works well when applied lightly after your toner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2020
It's a decent emulsion that leaves your skin more hydrated than before, with just the right amount of moisture. The scent isn't overpowering, making it pleasant to use. It's just an average emulsion, nothing more. I didn't notice any significant improvements after using it. It's simply... okay. If you're looking for a basic, no-frills emulsion, I'd recommend giving this one a try. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2019
My skin was extremely dehydrated, but after using this product, the feeling of dryness has significantly diminished. It's quite rich in oils, which can make the skin look a bit shiny, but that's understandable for a dry skin formula! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2019
This is the best emulsion I've ever used! It's hydrating with just the right amount of richness, yet feels lightweight. Since switching to this, I haven't had any blemishes. The size is disappointingly small... It's really tiny. While it does hydrate well even with a small amount, it's just too small. The bigger issue is that it's hard to find in Olive Young stores. You have to hunt around to find it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2019
It absorbs well and sinks into the skin nicely. It doesn't cause any issues when used with other cosmetics, and there's no pilling. The hydration power is a bit weak. It feels slightly heavy for oily skin, yet too light for dry skin - it's kind of in a neither-here-nor-there situation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2018
I've been using this for a few months and I absolutely love it! As someone with extremely oily skin, I had a lot of sebum buildup on my face. But after using this along with La Roche-Posay Serozinc mist as a toner, all my blemishes disappeared! If you're like me and get breakouts even when using just a moisturizer due to clogged pores from the cream+oil combo, I highly recommend trying these two products together. They're amazing! The product is a bit pricey and comes in a small size, so I tried looking for cheaper alternatives. But when my blemishes started coming back, I decided to stick with this. For reference, I have super sensitive skin that breaks out within a week of using almost any foundation/cushion or color makeup. I'm extremely sensitive to all acne-triggering ingredients. If this works for my skin, it's likely to be gentle enough for most people. Although it's not called a cream, when you squeeze it out, it looks like one. The emulsion is more like a lightweight cream with much less oil content. It comes in a small size and is expensive. But since I can't find a suitable alternative, I plan to keep using it. Also, for those with dry or normal skin, you might find it a bit drying if you don't use enough. Even with my extremely oily skin, there are times when I feel slightly dry after using this, especially if I've cleansed thoroughly and removed all oil from my skin. As I mentioned earlier, this works incredibly well with La Roche-Posay Serozinc mist. If you have super oily skin, I highly recommend this combination. I can confidently say that it will calm down all your blemishes within a week!
