As a middle-aged person with increasingly dry skin, I wanted something rich, and this product delivers. When applied, you can definitely feel the oil and moisture. While the hydration doesn't seem to last exceptionally long, it's decent enough. There's hardly any fragrance, but there's a slight off-putting smell, almost like it's gone bad. The texture is thick, similar to Elizabeth Arden products, which isn't the most pleasant to apply. However, it does spread evenly without clumping. - wa*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 25, 2025
The texture is like whipped cream or soufflé, giving it a luxurious feel. The fragrance is rich and intense, though it doesn't linger long. It absorbs well with a smooth application, leaving a luminous glow without feeling greasy for hours. It's a rich cream with nourishing oils, making it ideal for those in their 40s but less suitable for oily skin types. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's perfect for spring and fall, but I'll probably skip it during summer. - ju********Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2025
It's gentle with a mild scent. Absorbs well and feels soft on the skin. I woke up to find tiny bumps all over my face! I bought this at Trader Joe's for about $42, and it can't be returned. I regret this purchase so much. I've never had an allergic reaction to anything I've bought from Olive Young before, but this is a first. - yo********Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 6, 2024
I've been using this product for about 10 years now. Even though I've tried other creams, I always come back to this one. It's rich but not heavy, gentle, and just wonderful! For those with dry skin, it might be good to use this with an oil during winter If you have dry skin, I recommend pairing this with a facial oil during the colder months for extra hydration - jo**********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 11, 2024
I'm on my second bottle and I love it. The scent is pleasant and it feels lightweight, making it perfect for everyday use. It might be a bit too light for winter use. I think I'll need a richer product for the colder months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 20, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin that can't tolerate most products and suffers from intense tingling and redness, I can at least use this. However, on particularly sensitive days, even this can cause some discomfort. I don't have any specific complaints, but I tried the Light version instead of Rich Time and found it too irritating for my skin. Now I can only use the Rich formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 2, 2024
I always thought I had combination dehydrated skin, but I was surprised at how well this cream absorbed! I'm not sure if it's because the absorption is that good or if my skin has become dry (I'm hesitant to recommend it to those with oily skin in case they find it sticky..) In my case, I liked that the stickiness disappeared faster than with other creams. When I apply it at night, it deeply hydrates my skin, and the next morning, my cheeks feel plump and bouncy like mochi!! The fragrance is also quite noticeable, but I found it pleasant. It's on the pricier side. Also, I sometimes feel a slight tingling sensation on my cheeks. However, it quickly provides intense hydration, so I don't have any complaints. But this could be a drawback for some people. - pp*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
I purchased it from a pharmacy in Montjoie, France during my trip. I just bought it because it was on my shopping list without investigating the ingredients or details. To my surprise, it didn't suit my oily skin. The scent is like my mom's old cosmetics, which I find pleasant, but those sensitive to fragrance may dislike it. The texture is in the middle between watery and thick, which seems like a reasonable formulation. Even though I have oily skin, I use the Dalpaeng cream and haven't found any problematic elements. I apply it generously before bed, and the next day my makeup applies well, and my skin looks radiant, so I'm using it as a night care product. The disappointing aspect seems to be the price. It's a price where I'm not sure if I should buy it while traveling or not. And another disappointment is that the old cosmetic scent may be polarizing. I apply it generously before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin looks smooth and glowing like a glass skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 10, 2024
I've been using this consistently for 4 years now. The scent is pleasant and it absorbs well into the skin. The price is a bit steep for generous application, but aside from that, there's nothing to complain about. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 27, 2023
It hydrates so well that my skin feels less dry even after washing in the morning. A little goes a long way, making it easy to spread. I've been experiencing redness lately, and unfortunately, it stung my face quite a bit when I applied it... It should be fine for anyone who doesn't have super sensitive skin.
