It's an unscented white powder product, and I used it as the final step in my base makeup routine after my skincare. When I apply it, my face becomes nicely matte and smooth. I didn't experience any side effects like breakouts.
ConsDue to the nature of the powder, the puff is a bit small.

It was better than Innisfree No Sebum in terms of price-to-performance ratio!!! The puff included was not very good for applying after makeup, so I used a blush brush to dab it on instead!! I think I would be willing to buy and use it again in the future.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be the puff...?? The puff wasn't very good to use after applying makeup, as it felt too dense.

Skin Expression: I've tried various powders like Innisfree and Skinfood, and this one gives the cleanest skin expression. I usually like the blurred effect of powders, but this one lacks that slightly, yet it finishes the skin so clean, transparent, and not too thick, just nicely mattifying the oiliness, which I really liked. Durability: As a combination skin type with oily T-zone, I found that it's good to reapply after about 4 hours. Scent: It's almost fragrance-free. Ingredients: The ingredients are not the best, but it worked well for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Overall, the powder I received as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer was much better than expected, with no major downsides, so I will likely repurchase once I finish this. Recommended!
ConsPuff: The puff is a bit too thick compared to other powder puffs, so if you don't apply it gently, it can press the powder down too much, making the makeup look slightly patchy. I'd recommend using a powder brush, but the puff can work fine if you apply it lightly. Other than that, there don't seem to be any other significant downsides.
TipDipping an appropriate amount of powder from the case lid and applying it with a brush is definitely neater and prevents caking. Applying a light layer over the face makeup, especially around the eyes and brows (before eye makeup), can significantly improve the longevity and vibrancy of the makeup.

Recently, I've been going out with a bare face, but there's still a lot of oil, so I tend to carry powder. I used to only use Innisfree, but I won the lottery and received a Missha powder. I compared the overall reviews with Innisfree. ๐The number of powder-releasing holes is the same, but the size is different. If you look at the photos, the Missha one has the sticker removed, and the Innisfree one has the holes intentionally blocked while in use. Even if you flip the lid and shake it, the Innisfree one comes out in a burst, making it difficult to control the amount, while the Missha one has smaller holes, so it's easy to sprinkle an appropriate amount. ๐That's why I felt that the Innisfree one is difficult to control the amount, and the powder tends to scatter a lot when patting it on the face. The Missha one had much less powder scattering, which was more convenient. The powder is also a bit finer, so it feels more closely adhered to the skin. This seems to be the biggest advantage - the ease of controlling the amount. ๐The most important thing is whether it performs as well as Innisfree as an oil-control powder, and for me, as an oily-skinned person who uses powder frequently, there wasn't much difference. I used powder on my bare face, and no pimples appeared. So, Innisfree and Missha are similar, but the Missha one has less powder scattering, easier amount control, and a more closely adhered feeling. If you want to use it comfortably, go for Missha, but Innisfree is also good if you want a cheaper option.
ConsThe Puff is a bit smaller than the Innisfree. However, the container size is similar. So when I put the Innisfree Puff into the Saem container, it fits. The Puff can be stored in either one. The lid not closing all the way is a bit concerning. Both the Innisfree and the Saem have a similar rotating part that sticks out, but the Saem's rotates less. The Innisfree lid closes tightly. This seems like a lid defect. When I use the Innisfree lid on the Saem container, it closes all the way. Since it's a powder product, if it opens, it would be a disaster, so I'm a bit worried about that. The Innisfree has sales events more often, and when I compared the prices online, the Innisfree is in the 2000 won range, while the Saem is in the 3000 won range, so the Saem is a bit more expensive. The regular prices are Innisfree 6000 won and Saem 7000 won. All things considered, I prefer the Saem, so I'll be using the Saem. The easier control of the amount and less mess is more convenient for me.
TipIf it's an Innisfree product, you should only peel off half the sticker. But for The Face Shop products, you can peel off the entire sticker. The best feature is that it's easy to adjust the amount. The image shows The Face Shop product on the bottom and the Innisfree product on the top.

ConsWhen I used the built-in puff, it didn't seem to apply well on my skin, and it was also difficult to control the amount.
TipUsing the built-in puff can make the product not apply well on the skin and make it difficult to control the amount, so I recommend using a powder brush instead.

The fragrance was also not too strong, so it didn't bother me when using it.
ConsUsing a brush felt more even in application and more effective in removing excess oil compared to the included puff. However, there weren't any outstanding features, and the overall experience was just average, which was a bit disappointing.
TipTry applying it with a brush!

When used as a finishing touch on the T-zone after makeup, the long-lasting makeup effect was extended and the powdery finish felt wonderful.
ConsThe puff didn't feel very soft, and after applying the powder, it was clumped in one area. So I had to check it one more time before going out.
TipYou could try using a different puff or using a brush to apply it, which should allow you to use it without any clumping!

(Please focus on the photos that show the oil control. The photos are before and after using the product.) I really liked how well it controlled the oil. It also helped the base makeup last longer. The advantage is that you don't have to retouch your makeup often. The powder itself works well. Even though I was conscious that this was a product I received from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer, it was still a product I reached for frequently. As you can see in the photos, it seems to have a slight brightening effect as well. For reference, the photos were taken with the iPhone's default camera without any additional editing. I checked the price and it seems reasonable. It's not too cheap or too expensive, and the ingredients are good. I did mention quite a few downsides, but I want to say that the product itself was good - the issue was with the puff..(I wish they could improve the puff.)
ConsTo be honest, the rating I wanted to give was 3.5 stars. 4 stars felt a bit too generous, and 3 stars felt a bit too harsh for this product. This is because the built-in puff was not very good. The puff is thick but small, and it seemed to really attract a lot of dust. I actually ended up using the puff more for blotting oil on my bangs. And it was difficult to control the amount of powder when using the puff. There also seems to be an issue with the pores of the puff. Since I was using a powder that was famous for covering pores, this product didn't quite meet my expectations in that regard.
TipI think a brush would work better with this product than the puff. I used the Etude House powder brush.

I often use the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder and the famous Pond's BB Powder. 1. Color The powder is white in color. It's the same color as the No Sebum, and the Pond's BB is similar to the average Korean skin tone. They are so similar that it's hard to say which color is better. But when applied with a puff or brush, the color can show up in areas with pores or creases. However, it's barely noticeable, so you don't really need to worry about the color. Those with extremely fair or dark skin may notice a difference. (For extremely fair - white powder / For extremely dark - powder matching skin tone) 2. Particle Size and Weightiness It feels lighter than the No Sebum. Even when using the thick puff, it had a lightweight feel, and the powder is incredibly soft. 3. Fragrance There's almost no fragrance. Some people say they can smell it, but you likely won't need to worry about it. It's a good thing that the powder has no fragrance, as it can interfere with base makeup.
Cons1. Puff The puff was too thick for me. It was so thick that I could feel the pressure when applying it gently to my face (puff puff puff puff...). If the puff was about the thickness of the Innisfree No Sebum puff, I would be very satisfied and use it, but the thickness was disappointing. If you like the thickness of the No Sebum puff, I recommend replacing the puff! The lid doesn't fit the product perfectly, but the feeling when closing the lid and the fact that the product doesn't leak don't bother me. Overall, it's very similar to the No Sebum. But you definitely need to change the puff. If you're worried about your makeup sliding off, you can use a brush instead. But I have oily skin, so I prefer using a puff to really press it into my face. It doesn't slide or anything.
TipIf you like a thin puff, I recommend the one from Aritaum! The standard thickness is the same as the No Sebum, which I recommend.

My skin is very sensitive, so I can't use it without powder. After trying both this product and the Innisfree one, I think this one is better. It feels more fluffy and has better longevity. The particles are finer, and a small amount can give noticeable effects. Just lightly pat it on your face and it becomes so soft and smooth! I will definitely repurchase this once I finish the current one.
ConsThe built-in puff is very inconvenient. It's small in size and doesn't apply the product evenly on the face. It's better to use a different puff or just roughly apply it and then blend it in with a brush or your fingers... And it's also a bit tricky to control the amount. If they had just improved the puff, it would have been much better.
TipAs you probably know, patting it on the eyelids can help your eye makeup last longer! And applying it before your base makeup can also be beneficial.
