The mascara applies with great volume even with just one coat. And it doesn't smudge, which is great. It doesn't make the under-eye area look dark and sooty haha. The fact that it doesn't smudge much is probably the biggest advantage. You can apply it thinly and without clumping by using the thicker part of the brush.

However, it does apply a bit clumpily, which is a bit disappointing. You have to clean it up with a cotton bud after applying. This is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. First of all, the case is so pretty...haha After using it, the mascara applies without clumping and the application is smooth. It gives great volume right from the first application without any clumping. Even though it's a double-layered mascara, it still lifts the lashes really well. The staying power is also good, as there is hardly any darkening over time. I tried removing it with just cleansing water, and it came off cleanly, which I really liked.

The Hwahae Trial Reviewer review is great :) My eyelashes are thin and long, but using the product made them look much darker and more voluminous! It feels like it's lifting each lash individually. Even though my lashes are thin and light, the product was able to create a voluminous lash look. The volume is definitely enhanced significantly. It's waterproof but doesn't smudge, and there's no flaking, which is great. I don't do a lot of makeup these days due to COVID-19, but when I do go out after applying it, it's hard to touch up. It was a huge hit, beyond my expectations. Among all the mascaras I've used in my life, this is probably the most stubborn and long-lasting one. It stays powerfully fixed all day long. The volumizing effect wasn't bad, but the curling is truly amazing. You don't need any mascara fixers or anything like that. Just lightly curl your lashes with a lash curler, and this mascara alone will keep your lashes lifted all day. My usual mascara routine is to curl my lashes, apply a mascara fixer, and then put on the mascara. But this time, as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I tried it without the mascara fixer, and the curling on the first day was incredibly strong. Even after removing it with a makeup remover, the curl remained for a while. The mascara wand shape is a bit clumpy by my standards, but I was able to apply it easily without much trouble.
