I tried this a few years ago when I won it, and I'm surprised it's still available. The color is quite intense. I remember the case back then was a different color and really pretty. The brush is a bit thick. If I recall correctly, there might have been some clumping issues. - so**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 19, 2021
I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best mascara I've ever used. It doesn't smudge or clump, and it curls my lashes perfectly. When I use this, my eyes seriously look twice as big! If I really try to find something to criticize, I'd say that after a long time, tiny bits of the dried mascara might flake off a little. But honestly, it's still amazing. Recently, I've noticed my lashes drooping a bit, probably because of the moisture from breathing in my mask. But when I apply a mascara fixer before this mascara, the staying power is absolutely incredible! - yw*******Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 29, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have deep-set eyelids, so if mascara doesn't dry fast, it usually transfers to my eyelids. But with this, that wasn't an issue at all - such a relief! Reapplying was super easy too since it dries so quickly. Often, products with such strong fixing power are a pain to remove, but this one washes off nicely with lukewarm water, which I really appreciate. While it curls and fixes well, it doesn't give a natural look. However, if you prefer a more defined and noticeable appearance, this might be perfect for you. If you love building up layers for a bold look, you absolutely must try this! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

However, I have to say that my usual product (Kiss Me) was much better in terms of curling. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The volume is enhanced nicely too, which I love. These days I rarely wear makeup, so I don't use it often. But I can't find anything to complain about. With any mascara, you need to apply it two or three times to really bring out the volume and curl. - 45*****Dry SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It gives off a high-end department store mascara vibe. Application: As it's for volume and curling, the brush is nice and full. Unlike other mascaras that apply too much product on first use, this one dispenses just the right amount from the start - I'm really impressed! As someone with sparse lashes, this product has been a game-changer. Highly recommended for those with thin lashes! Longevity: Absolutely no smudging under the eyes. The staying power is excellent. There's no powder fallout either, so you don't have to worry about dark under-eye areas. Quick-drying formula: It dries so fast that sometimes I can't make adjustments even when I want to. It's best to make any corrections immediately! Removal: Double cleansing is a must. You need to soak it with lukewarm water before cleansing. The fact that it's hard to remove is both a pro and a con! Since it dries quickly when applied, make sure to make any adjustments swiftly if needed. For removal, start with a makeup remover, then follow up with a foam cleanser for a thorough double cleanse to ensure it's completely removed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Of course, multiple coats can lead to some clumping, but with just one or two layers, my lashes looked thin yet strong and perfectly lifted. Another plus: once it dried, there was no powder-like fallout under my eyes or panda effect. The first photo shows the results right after application, while the second was taken three hours later. I tried not to touch my eyes and applied it lightly, but even so, most mascaras tend to droop after a while. This one, however, seemed to have some staying power. While the formula is a bit runny, I'm satisfied with how it addresses my main concerns: it doesn't deflate the volume and doesn't make my lashes stick together in that dreaded 'spider leg' effect. It's incredibly difficult to remove... Even with a dedicated lip and eye makeup remover, I had to put in a lot of effort to get it off. While this speaks to its longevity and waterproof qualities, it's too tough to remove with regular makeup cleansing. On lazy days, I'm tempted to skip it altogether. It's hardly a flaw, but those who, like me, tend to be a bit lackadaisical about their routines might want to keep this in mind... For a light and beautifully lifted look, try combing through your lashes once with an eyelash brush, then apply the mascara as if you're only coating the base of the lashes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 28, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I used to only use mascara fixers without actual mascara. As someone with monolids, my lashes tend to droop easily and are prone to smudging, so I relied on black mascara fixers as a substitute. However, this product's staying power and longevity are so incredible that you'd believe it was a fixer! While I always used a fixer with mascara before, this product doesn't require one at all. Occasionally, I experienced some eye irritation. I wear contact lenses due to poor eyesight, so I thought it might be because of that. However, even when I tried it without lenses, I still felt a slight tingling. Those with super sensitive skin might find this a bit concerning. The brush is quite thick, so rather than focusing on applying from the roots, it's much more effective to concentrate on the middle part of the lashes for a prettier application. - hj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 26, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

A major plus is that it doesn't smudge, so you won't end up with raccoon eyes! The non-smudging quality is definitely its standout feature. Using the thicker part of the brush allows for a thin, clump-free application. The downside is that it can clump a bit, which is a bit disappointing. You'll need to clean it up with a cotton swab after application. Also, being smudge-proof means it's quite stubborn to remove, even with lip and eye makeup remover. After applying, your eyes might feel a bit... heavy? There's a slight stickiness where your upper and lower lashes meet when you blink, which can be a tad annoying. Remember to control the amount you apply from the start! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested. This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. It's an honest review. Design - When I first opened the box, I had an 'oh!' moment. It has a slightly luxurious feel. The packaging is a clean design in silver-gray. The studio logo is engraved on the cap. Compared to regular mascaras, it's a bit chubby and short. The mascara brush is also on the thicker side. I think it feels thicker because I'm used to thinner ones. Application - To be honest, since I've only used thin brushes, it doesn't feel as clean to apply. Thinner brushes seem to apply more neatly. That's just my feeling. My daughter, who's used to thicker brushes, applies it cleanly. I guess it's a matter of skill. Longevity - I have thick and long lashes, while my daughter's are thin and long. After curling, the mascara lasted well until the afternoon for me. My daughter said it didn't last until the afternoon for her, so she feels the longevity is weak. I think it might feel different depending on the thickness and length of your lashes. Smudging - What I care about most in mascara isn't volume or length, but rather preventing excess fallout or smudging. That's my top priority. The SAEM mascara seems to have none of these issues. That's why I don't use mascara often. My daughter also likes it because it doesn't have these problems, so she keeps stealing mine to use (not hers, haha). I haven't used many mascaras. This is an honest review based on my standards. I apologize for submitting this Hwahae Tester review late. The downside is that while it doesn't smudge, it's difficult to remove. You need to be a bit more careful when using makeup remover. Sometimes I even lose a few lashes. Also, I find it disappointing that it doesn't apply as cleanly as I'd like. If you don't control the amount of mascara on the brush when applying, you'll end up with spider lashes.
