The texture is like a super light emulsion, so it applies effortlessly without feeling heavy. It seemed to hydrate and even out my skin tone nicely. The consistency is perfect for applying right after toner, and I loved that it left almost no residue on my skin. I was a bit disappointed by the strong signature Avène scent. Also, it felt slightly oily at the end, making it seem more suitable for certain seasons. While the moisturizing effect was good, the texture was closer to a cream than a water-based product, which made my skin feel a bit suffocated at times.
