The texture is like a super light emulsion, so it applies effortlessly without feeling heavy. It seemed to hydrate and even out my skin tone nicely. The consistency is perfect for applying right after toner, and I loved that it left almost no residue on my skin. I was a bit disappointed by the strong signature Avène scent. Also, it felt slightly oily at the end, making it seem more suitable for certain seasons. It has a nice balance of oil and moisture, feeling fresh and pleasant. I like that it doesn't dispense too much product with each pump! The scent might be polarizing... It has a pleasant scent and absorbs well with a lightweight feel. The fragrance isn't overpowering. For my combination skin (oily with dry U-zone), it's not quite enough on its own and feels too light. Make sure to layer a cream on top of it.

This is currently the serum I'm using most effectively. It's lightweight and leaves my skin feeling hydrated after application. There's no uncomfortable tightness or itching, and it absorbs well into the skin. I've stopped using all products containing hyaluronic acid as I felt it was making my skin drier, more prone to irritation, and increasingly sensitive over time. This change has been beneficial. My current skincare routine is: Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser (slightly alkaline) - Avène Thermal Spring Water - Stress Zero Toner - Avène Serum. For makeup removal, I use Bioderma (which is good, but the cotton pads can be irritating. Honestly, I'd like to try other products, but I'm wary of emulsion oils due to past negative experiences). For makeup, I use the Dr. Jart+ Propolis Ampoule Cushion. As for sunscreen, I'm still searching for the perfect one. I noticed the ingredients list includes some moisture-blocking agents. While I don't feel any discomfort, I'm a bit anxious because I remember breaking out when using products with high amounts of these agents. I plan to continue using it and will update my review later. Update (January 7th): After using it for over 10 days, I haven't experienced any blemishes. However, my frustratingly finicky skin feels itchy - if I apply a little, it's dry, but if I apply more, it feels heavy and itchy. The scent is subtle, it's gentle on the skin with no irritation, and it's truly amazing. I highly recommend it! None. Everything about this product suits me perfectly, which is why I've been using it consistently for years. The blue serum worked so well for me that I decided to try this product, albeit with some hesitation. I'm pleased to say it's gentle and non-irritating, which has me very satisfied. I'm even considering switching all my skincare to Avène. The price point is also quite appealing. It might be a bit drying in the dead of winter. The amount you get is quite small, which makes me hesitant to apply it generously. I'm worried I'll use it up too quickly. Apply this after using the Avène blue serum for enhanced effectiveness!
