It feels refreshing. Not sticky at all, and while the scent might be divisive, I personally find it pleasant. Contains alcohol, which can sting if your skin is sensitive... Those with super sensitive skin should avoid this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2021
During the sweaty summer, I used this as an all-in-one product, and it was fantastic! No stickiness at all. It's more of a smooth emulsion rather than a thick cream, so it absorbs really well. The price point is a bit high, and the scent might be hit or miss. If you're thinking of trying it, make sure to check out the fragrance before buying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2021
The application feels nice and moisturizing without being sticky. Personally, I prefer scented products, so I'm not a fan of this fragrance-free option. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2021
For combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin: As someone with sensitive skin who often uses gentle skincare products, I was pleased to be able to use this without any blemishes. It absorbs well and isn't sticky. This product seems perfect for hydration replenishment. While the product is good, it's on the pricier side, unfortunately. After application, there's a glow and it feels like a coating forms on the skin, which is a bit disappointing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 1, 2020
- It's not sticky and focuses solely on hydration, so when applied in the morning, it doesn't pill even when you layer sunscreen or foundation on top! - The ingredients are quite good Known for being gentle... even on Hwahae it's rated as a serum with good ingredients... But when I apply it to my skin, it stings so much! It causes extreme irritation. If you use it multiple times, your skin might adapt a bit and it gets better, but for me, it doesn't adapt well and continues to sting... I've had similar experiences with Jurlique Daily Balancing Cream and Avene Rebalancing Emulsion Skin Booster - despite their good ingredients, they were very irritating and didn't suit me at all. Those with super sensitive skin should be careful! Even patch testing on the back of your hand might not reveal if it will sting! You can buy it for around 19,000 won when it's on sale at Olive Young. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2019
The lightweight pump bottle is convenient to use. It absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling. While Avène's moisturizer and toner worked well for me, this product didn't suit my skin at all. I developed a lot of tiny blemishes. I'm puzzled why it doesn't agree with me despite the good ingredients. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2019
I always trust Avène! When it's on sale, the price is quite reasonable. I bought it with some doubts, but it's so moisturizing and I love it! I've been using their Hydrating line before, but the ingredients weren't great. This one, however, has improved ingredients, so I'm satisfied. I use it all year round! It absorbs well without being sticky, leaving my skin hydrated. I'm also happy that the volume has increased! It doesn't feel super moisturizing when you apply it. There's no stickiness, so those with dry skin might want to layer an additional hydrating essence. As I have oily skin, this plus a moisturizer or regenerating cream is enough for me! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2019
After cleansing, when I applied serums from other brands, they felt sticky and made my skin feel suffocated. While searching for alternatives, I bought this product on a store employee's recommendation. It's incredibly refreshing, non-sticky, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, which I love. If I had to point out a downside... there really isn't one, but if I must, it might be that the amount is a bit small for the price...? However, I bought it during a sale, so I'm quite satisfied with my purchase and continue to use it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 30, 2019
Application: A couple of pumps spread easily, with a nice balance of oil and moisture for a smooth application. Absorption: Initially, it felt a bit slippery due to slight oiliness, but it had adequate hydration. After patting it in, it absorbed well, leaving the skin moisturized without stickiness and with a fresh, matte finish. Moisturizing: While it applied and absorbed nicely, the moisturizing power seemed a bit lacking. Recommended skin type: Not ideal for dry skin, but might work well for those with oily skin. Quantity: The 50ml size is adequate. Packaging: Simple, clean, lightweight, and the pump dispenser is convenient. Scent: Subtle and pleasant to me. My skin is combination with a lack of nighttime hydration. I'm usually careful about skincare and use products with good ingredients that don't cause blemishes. However, when I used the Avène Hydrance Rehydrating Serum, despite its nice application, scent, and absorption, my skin started tingling and itching, developing redness and irritation. I tried it again the next day, but my skin reacted the same way, so I had to stop using it. It doesn't seem to suit my skin. Once my skin calms down, I'll try it once more and update my review later. Since this product didn't work for me, I don't have any specific tips to share. Once my skin settles down, I'll try using it again and leave an updated review later. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2019
※The Hwahae Testers' 2-week usage review※ I have combination skin with slightly dry cheeks and concerns about blackheads and whiteheads on my nose and chin. My skin is thin, sensitive, prone to redness, and generally responds well to natural ingredients. *Texture* It's an essence-type product with a consistency similar to syrup or thick mucus. When applied to the face, it bursts with a watery hydration. It's a bit more viscous than commonly used serums. *Application* There's almost no stickiness. It applies like a thin layer, holding a slight oiliness and moisture, leaving the skin feeling plump and hydrated. *Absorption* As a product that feels more hydrating, there's hardly any heavy feeling, and it becomes more refreshing over time. If you have dry skin, you might need to finish with an oil-based cream. For normal skin types, this could be sufficient as a final step. 1. Tingling sensation 2. Strong fragrance 3. Ingredients 4. Causes blemishes 5. While it applies lightly and doesn't lack in hydration, there are no other significant features or effects. In other words, it's an honest product focused on moisturizing. This has its pros and cons. Although I'm grateful for the opportunity to use this product through a giveaway event, the overwhelmingly strong scent that almost makes me nauseous means I wouldn't purchase it myself. This product alone might be sufficient for sweaty summers. It could also be good for oily skin types. Given the various benefits of hot spring water, it seems like a great product for hydration. However, I don't understand why such a strong fragrance was necessary. I developed red, irritated blemishes during the usage period. When I apply this serum followed by the MNG hot spring water cream, my skin stays moisturized until the next day. It's a product with a mix of pros and cons... I can't help but feel disappointed.
