I bought this as an exfoliating toner, and it gives a really clean, refreshing feeling. It reminds me of using Stridex pads - it's that effective at removing dead skin cells! The lid is so tight that I've given up on closing it completely. Also, I was surprised to find out that there are quite a few ingredients that aren't great for the skin. The packaging is so convenient, I'm really enjoying using it. I haven't experienced much irritation, so it's working great for me. My friend with sensitive skin mentioned it doesn't seem to suit her well.

• For combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone that's dripping with oil I bought this on a whim during a sale based on a recommendation. Got it for around $7, which seemed cheap for the amount. The sales associate recommended it as an exfoliating toner, and that's how I've been using it. I chose tea tree because I wanted to avoid hormone-related blemishes, though they suggested rose for hydration. It's a basic water-based toner without any standout features. The container is convenient - just push a few times on a cotton pad. I'd like to reuse the bottle. The lack of any special features is both its strength and weakness. It feels fine when applying, but after it absorbs a bit, there's a slight stickiness? It feels light. I wonder if it's mixing with facial oils... I love how this toner has no stickiness, making it perfect for generous application. After cleansing, I pat it on with a cotton pad, which helps refine my skin texture. I'm already on my second bottle! The downside is that it's a pump-type bottle, so you can't use it without cotton pads. Sometimes when pumping, the toner splashes out, which can make things messy. This is a product I always repurchase. I love how clean my face feels when I wipe it with a cotton pad, and I'm especially pleased with the generous amount you get. There's a significant price difference between when it's on sale and when it's not.

This toner finishes off the routine lightly and refreshingly. It reduces facial heat and replenishes moisture. Hmm... the downside is that it's a bit too lightweight. So you'll need to use a strongly moisturizing skincare product afterwards.
