This product is a pearl base, so it's versatile, and being a Chanel product, I'm quite pleased with it. Similar products include MAC Strobe Cream and Benefit High Beam. Compared to Benefit High Beam, the glow is more natural, and it's more luminous than MAC Strobe Cream. You can mix it with foundation for a dewy makeup look, or use it alone on the T-zone as a highlighter. The glow isn't overwhelming like a 'cyber-glow', but has a natural sparkle that I love. Unlike MAC Strobe Cream or High Beam, it doesn't seem to cause much darkening of the skin.
ConsThe hydration seems less effective than MAC Strobe Cream, which could also be used as a moisturizer. Also, it's quite expensive. The actual price is $90, but I bought it online for $72. Unfortunately, the glow doesn't last until the afternoon. It's not a must-have item, but I bought it because it's Chanel and I thought it would be versatile (I do love shimmer).
TipBuying from online shops is better than purchasing offline. You won't get many samples either way, so it's best to buy from the internet where it's cheaper.
