I have extremely dry skin. It's been very dry since high school, and I've rarely had acne. When I saw this product at Costco, I decided to give it a try, and it's quite good for its price. I've been using it for 3 days now, and when I first apply it in the morning, my face seems to have a glow. When I used Cetaphil before, my skin looked a bit matte, but this one feels more hydrating. For the first couple of hours after application, it feels very moisturizing and nice. However, after a few hours, my skin already starts to feel dry and tight. The glow disappears, and by the time I'm ready to wash my face in the evening, my skin feels very tight - especially around the mouth area. I tried reapplying, but it still feels dry, perhaps because I didn't use toner and emulsion after cleansing. Yesterday, I'm not sure if it was because I wasn't feeling well or because I have somewhat sensitive skin, but after applying it in the evening, the skin around my mouth became irritated. However, when I woke up this morning feeling better and applied it again, I didn't experience any such reaction. Today there were no issues at all. The price is good, and it looks great when first applied, so I think it would be perfect for those with less dry skin than mine. I'm planning to continue using it, but I'll try to apply toner and serum more diligently. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 25, 2020
In winter, my skin is dry all over, while in summer, my cheeks are dry with a slightly oily T-zone, making it combination dehydrated skin. This cream feels like it balances the oil and moisture perfectly. Even in summer, it doesn't make my T-zone excessively oily while keeping the dry areas moisturized for a long time. It's a gentle white cream without any particular scent. The tube packaging makes it convenient and hygienic to use. You can even gauge how much is left by holding it up to the light. For my skin type, it's suitable for both morning and evening use in summer. In winter, I'd recommend using this in the morning and a slightly heavier cream at night. It's quite affordable at around $22 at Costco in the US. While I didn't experience any issues, those who are sensitive to Centella Asiatica extract should be cautious when using this product. This formula works well when mixed with retinol creams or various oils.
