My skin type is sensitive and dry. I prefer mineral sunscreens. The biggest advantage of sun sticks is that they are very easy to use. You just need to swipe it on, without having to spread it with your hands, which is very convenient. I was looking for a product because I dislike the white cast and greasy finish of mineral sunscreens. I ended up purchasing the Benton Sun Stick as it is a mineral sunscreen but has less white cast and a powdery finish. As it is a mineral sunscreen, some white cast was unavoidable. At first, I thought it wasn't applying well, as I had to apply it multiple times before my face looked white. However, compared to other mineral sunscreens, the white cast is significantly less. Just one or two layers is enough to use it with almost no white cast. It also has a powdery finish, so even though I have oily skin, I can use it comfortably in the summer. The ingredients are gentle enough for a baby to use, which is reassuring. While some reviews mentioned an unpleasant scent, when I sniffed the stick directly, I could detect an odor, but I couldn't smell it once applied to my face. This may be a personal difference.
