There's a slight white cast, but it's not suffocating or unnatural. It quickly absorbs into the skin after a while. The brightening effect naturally evens out the complexion, which I actually like. (It's also great to use before makeup as it doesn't cause pilling) The moment you apply it, you might think, "Wait, is this spreading properly?" That's how unique the texture is. You can really feel how matte it is, and it adheres thinly to the skin, finishing with a clean, oil-free feel, which is fantastic. For oily skin / combination skin If you're looking for a powdery and clean sunstick If you want sun protection that also brightens your complexion If you're often outdoors and need a product that's easy to reapply, I highly recommend the Benton sunstick Due to its matte formula, it might feel a bit dry for those with dry skin - tw*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 17, 2025
I could only use mineral sunscreens before, but I bought this after watching Director Pi's video. The slight white cast helps brighten my complexion. The ingredients are good too. It has a powdery finish, so I recommend it for combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types. The texture is quite matte, which might not be for everyone. It applies rather thickly and doesn't spread easily. Make sure to moisturize well before using. - re*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 5, 2025
As someone who dislikes feeling suffocated, this stick product feels less stifling compared to others. Being a stick formula, it can apply thickly, so you need to be careful with how much you use. - af******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 10, 2025
While it has a solid form that feels a bit stiff, it applies well when gently rubbed with moderate pressure. Its performance seems similar to other products. I started using this after searching for a product with only physical sunscreens. Although it's a bit pricey, it's great for on-the-go use since we need to reapply sunscreen regularly throughout the day, regardless of the season. 1. The price is quite high for the amount you get. 2. There's a strong scent that others nearby can notice. It's an off-putting smell that's hard to describe precisely - it's somewhat familiar, but unpleasant. I thought I might have received a faulty product, but after checking reviews, I saw others mentioning the strong fragrance too! 3. It leaves more of a white cast than expected, especially compared to cream formulations. I'd recommend a cream formula instead. Due to points 2 and 3, I probably won't repurchase this. This is my honest review! Avoid rubbing too hard when applying. It can damage your skin barrier and increase the white cast. - ek*******Combination SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025
This is the best sunstick I've ever used! It's not sticky at all and leaves a powdery finish, so it's perfect even after applying makeup. I can't imagine getting through summer without this! Highly recommended! No downsides at all. It's definitely a staple in my routine! - gr********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
Compared to the product I was using before, it's noticeably less greasy, which I really like. I have sensitive eyes, but this doesn't cause any irritation, and it absorbs well too. There's a very slight white cast, but it's so minimal that even those who are concerned about white cast should be able to use it comfortably. I've just started using it, so I can't think of any downsides yet. The only things I'd mention are that the amount seems small, so it might run out quickly, and it would be great if they could offer a bit more of a discount on the price. - jh****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 3, 2025
Skin type: Sensitive combination dehydrated skin I generally prefer mineral sunscreens. The biggest advantage of this sunstick is its incredible convenience. No need to spread it with your hands - just glide it on and you're done. So easy! There's hardly any white cast, which I love. It gives a natural look, just evening out my bare skin tone slightly. The amount is perfect for about a year's use. It's not severe, but I noticed some whiteheads developing into small blemishes. I think the wax ingredients might not agree with my skin. Also, there's a strange, slightly unpleasant odor. While it's great that it's fragrance-free, this odd smell is a bit off-putting. - go******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2025
A simple and easy-to-apply mineral sunscreen stick that's great for everyday use. However, it's disappointing that it's not a non-nano mineral sunscreen. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2025
I was already using Benton's sunscreen, so I decided to try their sun stick too. I'm happy to say it absorbs really well! I bought this to reapply during outdoor activities, but since summer hasn't arrived yet, I haven't had many chances to use it again... - cj*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2025
I needed a mineral sunscreen. Since I have to apply sunscreen and head straight to work, I bought both a mineral sunscreen cream and stick. They both absorb well. Being a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a white cast. It's noticeable when applied near the eyebrows, but becomes more natural if you gently rub it in with your fingers.
