  Pros

  I've been using this for about 2 years, and it's excellent for sebum control. As someone with oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin that produces a lot of sebum, it's perfect for my first cleanse in the evening to remove makeup. While it's often said that oily skin types shouldn't use oils, this cleansing oil is surprisingly effective for sebum removal.

  Cons

  It's a bit disappointing that the volume is small for the price. I wish it were a bit more budget-friendly.

  Tip

  For those with oily skin, especially in the T-zone and particularly the nose area where sebum production is high, just focus on oil cleansing those areas for smooth, clear skin. I used to use cleansing pads, but oil is far superior for tackling sebum and blackheads. However, if you have oily skin, don't oil cleanse your entire face for too long. Concentrate on the T-zone, then quickly go over the rest of your face. I recommend adding a bit of water to emulsify the oil for the best results.

  Pros

  This oil is perfect for my combination oily skin. It seems to be the best at removing excess sebum compared to other oils I've tried. I keep repurchasing it!

  Cons

  The only downside is that the quantity is a bit small for the price. You'll need to use it sparingly.

  Pros

  After pumping about three times and rolling, I noticed that sebum was gradually being removed. However, it doesn't seem to have much effect on whiteheads.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's due to the ingredients or my skin, but since using this, I've noticed small blemishes appearing on my face. Because of that, I've reduced my usage from daily to once every 2-3 days.

  Tip

  While it doesn't seem very effective on other areas, it appears to gradually remove sebum from the nose. When I roll it with a bit of water, I see one or two yellow particles coming out.

  Pros

  It's great for extracting sebum from the bumpy areas on my nose and visible pores on my cheeks and T-zone. When I roll it, the sebum comes out easily and effectively.

  Cons

  The small quantity and high price have me constantly searching for alternatives. Sadly, I haven't found anything that removes sebum as well as this. I've tried several Korean products known for sebum control since this is Japanese, but their effectiveness was underwhelming. Still, I'm hesitant to repurchase and am making do with other products for now.

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's on the oily side, I bought this for my whiteheads and blackheads. Unlike other cleansing oils, it's incredibly lightweight, almost water-like. When I apply it to my face, it doesn't feel like I'm rubbing heavy oil around. Yet, it effectively removes makeup, including mascara and eyeliner. It seems to suit my skin well. With consistent use, this cleansing oil helps expel excess sebum, which is great!

  Cons

  I can't really think of any downsides. Our family of three goes through it quickly, so we've used over five bottles already!

  Tip

  For those struggling with blackheads and whiteheads, try using this oil after a steam towel treatment. You'll see little sebum plugs coming out effortlessly. It's gentler and better than squeezing your pores!

  Effectively removes excess sebum and does a great job cleansing lip and eye makeup

  1. Leaves an oily residue on the skin. Even after rinsing multiple times, there's still a lingering oily feeling. 2. Unfortunately, it seems to trigger blemishes... quite a lot... As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I have excess sebum, so I diligently used this oil cleanser daily to manage my skin. However, my face completely broke out. I never suspected this product because of its good ingredients, but when I stopped using it, the pimples, acne, and folliculitis disappeared immediately. Sadly, I ended up wasting money on unnecessary dermatologist visits because of this.

  Have I really been using this for 3 years...? It's not that I've repurchased it, but I've been using the same bottle with both the foam and milk versions. As an oil cleanser, its cleansing effectiveness is excellent, removing all base makeup. After washing, my skin feels moisturized and clean without any dryness. This is my go-to for managing those pesky pores on my nose. Hardened sebum comes out easily with just a bit of rolling. The real challenge is with whiteheads. I've tried various things during the emulsification process, but brushes are the number one culprit for damaging the skin, and silicone products can be irritating too. Gently rolling with a natural sponge (the round kind) during emulsification makes those white, swollen sebum plugs disappear after rinsing. However, it won't get rid of existing blackheads! Those need to be removed physically by steaming the nose and extracting, or using a peel-off mask. Double cleansing with foam after oil cleansing can also damage the skin. I've learned the hard way, trying to eliminate sebum only to end up hurting my skin more than once... Anyway, this is the best oil cleanser I've tried! While I might switch to something else out of boredom, I know I can always come back to this reliable staple if nothing else works as well.

  Cons

  If you massage it for too long, it won't emulsify properly. It starts to feel like you're just rubbing cooking oil on your face, which is not ideal. In that case, you need to use foam cleanser. Be careful to keep the rolling motion short. In this autumn weather, massaging oil on my dry face feels like it might be irritating my skin. I think it might be time to switch to a cleansing milk.

  Among cleansing oils, this one has the most pleasant feel. It's lightweight, emulsifies just right, and most importantly, it's excellent at removing sebum. After use, my skin feels soft and not overly dry. Compared to other cleansing oils, it feels more delicately formulated.

  Cons

  However, if you do a thorough double cleanse, your skin might feel a bit tight afterwards. The packaging design is rather unappealing. It might be slightly disappointing for those with heavy makeup.

  Tip

  Besides removing makeup, it's great for exfoliating dead skin cells once a week.
