I've been using this product for a long time, and it's great for instantly peeling away whiteheads. Unfortunately, it seems to make blackheads more noticeable... I'm planning to switch to a different product soon. - dy***Combination SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2025
Excellent at removing sebum and cleansing. Overall, I'm really impressed and would definitely recommend it! I can't think of anything particularly disappointing about this product. It doesn't seem to be causing any blemishes either. - ga***Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 14, 2025
My face feels smoother now that the dead skin has been removed. I also feel like I have fewer blackheads. I'd like to keep using it, but it's too expensive and difficult to purchase. ㅠㅠ - dk****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 5, 2025
I've been using this for about 2 years, and it's excellent for sebum control. As someone with oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin that produces a lot of sebum, it's perfect for my first cleanse in the evening to remove makeup. While it's often said that oily skin types shouldn't use oils, this cleansing oil is surprisingly effective for sebum removal. It's a bit disappointing that the volume is small for the price. I wish it were a bit more budget-friendly. For those with oily skin, especially in the T-zone and particularly the nose area where sebum production is high, just focus on oil cleansing those areas for smooth, clear skin. I used to use cleansing pads, but oil is far superior for tackling sebum and blackheads. However, if you have oily skin, don't oil cleanse your entire face for too long. Concentrate on the T-zone, then quickly go over the rest of your face. I recommend adding a bit of water to emulsify the oil for the best results. - he************Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I've been using this since 2022, and I know many of us with super sensitive skin are afraid to try new cosmetics for fear of blemishes. I'm the same way! My skin is naturally sensitive, and I'm on steroids, which often leads to acne and excess oil buildup. I was really worried, but after a YouTuber recommended this cleansing oil, I decided to give it a try. At first, I wasn't sure if it was working or effectively removing sebum. However, by day three, my skin felt smoother, and I could feel the grit coming out as I massaged the oil into my skin. After cleansing, I was amazed to see my strawberry nose transform into a smooth one! I briefly worried about potential side effects, but there were none. In fact, when I don't use it, I get small bumps. I've been using it daily for three years, and despite hearing that cleansing oils can damage the skin barrier, I recently had my skin analyzed at Kiehl's. To my surprise, they said my skin barrier was very strong! My skin condition is good, my pores aren't enlarged, and with proper hydration, it's perfect. So now, I cleanse with Chinoshio cleansing oil and a bar soap, followed by Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream for hydration. My skin has improved so much with this routine! While it's a bit pricey, I can't imagine using anything else - it's worth it for the peace of mind. It can sting a little if used after extracting blemishes. It's also on the expensive side. Massage it evenly all over your face, then wet your hands with lukewarm water and massage again. This emulsifies the oil, and you'll feel the grit coming out. Use lukewarm water - not cold or hot water for best results. - tn*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJan 21, 2025
I'm revisiting this product that I used a few years ago because I remember it worked well for me back then The texture is a bit watery, so it tends to run off easily. Other than that, I can't think of any major drawbacks If you massage it in for a while, you can feel the sebum coming off onto your hands - js*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 20, 2025
As someone with oily skin prone to whiteheads, I've found that the Chino Sio Cleansing Oil is the only solution that keeps those pesky sebum buildup at bay on my nose. It's a true lifesaver! The price per volume is quite steep, making it a bit too expensive for daily use in my skincare routine. - fj********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 29, 2024
This oil is perfect for my combination oily skin. It seems to be the best at removing excess sebum compared to other oils I've tried. I keep repurchasing it! The only downside is that the quantity is a bit small for the price. You'll need to use it sparingly. - or**********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 10, 2024
This is the top product I've tried for blackheads, breaking my habit of unconsciously squeezing them. The results are amazing with no irritation! After use, those pesky blackheads on my nose just melt away. I love that they don't stick to my fingers and don't enlarge my pores. They've just released a new purple version, which I'm planning to try once I finish this one. As someone who avoids oils due to blemishes, this doesn't cause as many breakouts as other oils. However, being an oil, it still requires double cleansing. First, apply the oil to your face and gently roll it. Then, wet your hands with lukewarm water and massage for 1-3 minutes - this emulsification step is crucial. As you massage, you can feel the bumpy blackheads disappearing! I find using it twice a week works perfectly for me. - ju********Combination SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2024
I've been using this exclusively for three years now. Can't bring myself to use anything else. It's incredibly good! The price is absolutely wicked, and the amount you get is extremely small... There are never any sales either.
