The pan size is smaller than expected, but that's actually a good thing. It's lightweight and compact, making it really convenient to carry around.

Being a liquid formula, it's not as easy to create detailed looks as with powder eyeshadows applied with a brush. The versatility of expression is a bit limited. However, even just a single layer of this product looks pretty decent, and the incredible lasting power makes it worth compromising a bit on the application. I bought it at Sephora, but the product itself was a bit messy, which felt a bit off-putting. The box wasn't even sealed with a sticker, which added to the slightly unsatisfactory feeling.

To get the best look, apply the product slightly more towards the inner corner of the eyes, following the eye shape all the way to the outer corners. Angle the application slightly upwards at the outer edges to create a nice, lifted effect. After applying, don't rub it - instead, gently tap it with your fingertips to blend it out evenly and soften the edges. Tapping works better than rubbing, which can cause the product to lift or become uneven. You can also use the built-in applicator tip to initially shape the application, and then tap it with your fingers. Make sure to tap it immediately after applying, before it sets, or else it will be difficult to blend.
