It's really not recommended... My scalp gets itchy and it's like a blemish explosion!
ConsIt feels like a natural shampoo, so it doesn't leave my hair feeling clean. Maybe that's why it gets oily and I get too many blemishes...

It lathers up nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight.
ConsWhile it has its merits, those with oily skin might find that it can lead to quicker oil production.

I bought it after checking the ingredients, which seemed good, but the texture is quite thin, so you need to use a lot to get a good lather.
ConsWhile it's known for its fragrance, I personally didn't care for the scent. Also, it seems to make my skin feel oily quite quickly.

The fragrance is lovely.
ConsAs someone with oily hair, when I wash at night, by morning my scalp is already excessively greasy...

My hair strands are quite thick too. It's been about 1 year and 6 months since I last dyed my hair, and I got a perm 7 months ago. Due to repeated perms and coloring, every time I went to the salon, they'd say my hair was too dry and recommended using a hydrating shampoo. So for a while, I used the salon-recommended shampoo which did help to some extent. (It was Arren shampoo) But when the recommended shampoo's effectiveness waned, I tried Soltherapy. While it helped with itchiness, it seemed to dry out my hair and worsen its texture. So I went back to searching for a hydrating shampoo and ended up purchasing the Moringa shampoo. First off, the scent is amazing. It's not a polarizing fragrance, but a subtle one that both men and women would enjoy. Even without using conditioner, just the shampoo seems to leave a lingering scent. My boyfriend loved it. And even if others can't smell it because it's subtle, the fragrance while washing your hair is so nice that it feels healing and relaxing. It's like treating myself to a bit of luxury, haha! Plus, there was an unexpected effect: the C-curl perm that had disappeared due to damage came back to life! A coworker asked if I'd gotten my hair done, so it felt like I was recouping the money spent on the perm. It looked much calmer yet with more volume, which I loved. The texture of my hair seemed to improve too.
ConsThe reason I call it a 'nomad journey' is because all these products only lasted about a week. When I switch products, my hair condition improves and my existing concerns seem to be resolved, but after a week, it's back to square one. Of course, this is based on my scalp condition. The Moringa shampoo was great for a while, but by afternoon, my hair would get oily... (I washed my hair every night before bed) After this oiliness repeated a few times, my scalp became itchy, it looked bad, felt uncomfortable, and even led to facial acne... It was disappointing. Time to search for another shampoo again. Still, because of the nice scent, I sometimes used it without conditioner and almost finished the whole bottle.
TipThe product texture is transparent and light, not thick. It doesn't lather up quickly or abundantly. In a nutshell, the fragrance was its standout feature! My concerns were: 1) Itchiness + oiliness 2) Dry hair + damaged texture The issue was that most shampoos on the market couldn't address both concerns simultaneously. So, if I used a shampoo for oily hair, my hair would become too dry and stiff, seemingly more damaged. If I used a shampoo for dry hair, it would get oily too quickly and my scalp would itch. A real dilemma! For my hair, the Moringa shampoo fell into the second category. My concerns weren't completely resolved... The oiliness issue actually deepened my worries, so I can only give it 3 stars. In my opinion, I'd recommend this to those with dry scalps, damaged hair, and lack of volume, as they'd get the added bonus of a great scent. Next, I'll post reviews of the Tone 28 Seaweed Soap and LaboH shampoo.

I suppose the lack of harmful ingredients is good, but using this shampoo was a miserable experience throughout.
ConsEven though I don't have an oily scalp, no matter how many times I rinse, there's still an oily residue left on my scalp. It feels like I've applied conditioner to my scalp and didn't rinse it out properly. Even after drying, the oiliness persists, making it look like I haven't washed my hair for days. Moreover, you know how the excess oil from the scalp can travel down to the skin, causing small blemishes on the forehead? Sigh... I bought this thinking it had good ingredients, but ended up with blemishes and a greasy scalp. Even after switching to a different shampoo, it takes 2-3 days of using another product to get rid of the oil buildup from this one. Other people say the lather is decent, but I wonder how they're using it... The lather is worse than regular shampoos, and because the formula is so oily, even if you work up a lather in your hands, there's no foam at all when you apply it to your scalp.
TipJust don't buy it... Not purchasing it will save you money and spare you from stress.

I've used cheap ones, ones supposedly good for the scalp, Hwahae shampoos, herbal shampoos, and even ones with nice fragrances hoping they'd help... But none really worked. The redness got worse day by day, and I even started getting more scalp blemishes. After searching, comparing prices, and reading reviews, I stumbled upon this shampoo. It's definitely much better than others I've tried. It's reasonably priced and doesn't have an unpleasant smell. (I was shocked when people said my hair smelled bad after using the 'Scalp-friendly Shampoo' from Isoi) What I like most is that it calmed the redness. My whole scalp used to be so red that friends often asked what was wrong, but after using this product, the redness has significantly decreased. I'm not sure why, but I think it might be because it's gentle. I also get fewer blemishes than before. This effect alone makes me satisfied enough to keep using it.
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't leave your hair feeling clean at all. It's almost like rinsing with water? So when you dry and brush your hair, it feels a bit greasy. It feels fine when you touch it, but you really notice it when washing your hair. It's like it's not washing properly? Like the oil is still there? It feels okay after drying, and I wonder if it's because it's gentle, but that's really disappointing. Additionally, my hair gets oily again very quickly. Update: After using this shampoo, I often experienced an itchy scalp.
TipMake sure to massage thoroughly and rinse carefully.

ConsIf you have oily skin, absolutely avoid using this. It doesn't take long before the oil starts to...

On the bright side, considering the price, the moringa scent is lovely and quite strong. You can still catch whiffs of it in your hair the next day.
ConsWhen I first used it to wash my hair at night, the cleansing effectiveness seemed fine. But the next day, my scalp became extremely dry and oily, causing itchiness and making my hair clump together. I was shocked to see dandruff falling off in droves. After using it for two to three days, the symptoms got progressively worse, so I had to stop using it.
TipIf it doesn't work for you, you can always use it for hand-washing clothes or cleaning the bathroom.
