The refreshing lemon scent makes it perfect for summer use. It also lathers up nicely. I haven't found any downsides yet. It's affordable and works well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 5, 2022
The shampoo has a nice consistency, not too thin but with just the right amount of viscosity. I bought it knowing it was scented, and I'm pleased with the subtle lemon fragrance that's not overpowering. Considering the need to combat scalp odor, a light scent seems appropriate. I recall a popular YouTuber mentioning that a small amount of fragrance is acceptable and can even have preservative effects. It lathers well and has excellent cleansing effectiveness, making it perfect for my teenage kids with oily skin. It's great as a family-sized product with its large volume. When it's on sale on Hwahae, I'll likely purchase it again. I'm using it quite happily without any particular complaints. For best results, thoroughly wet your hair with warm water. Use about a 500 won coin-sized amount for the initial wash, rinse lightly, then use slightly less than that for the main wash. This method produces rich lather and leaves your hair feeling clean, even with a small amount of product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2021
I love that this shampoo has a natural lemon scent, not an artificial one. Being silicone-free, it's great for the scalp and seems to help with hair loss. I'm pleased that I don't lose as much hair when washing. The downside is that it's quite expensive, and unfortunately, it doesn't leave my scalp feeling refreshed after washing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 9, 2020
I was looking for a product with good ingredients and found Dr. Seed, which offers great value with its large size for the price. The scent is a personal preference... I've tried Baby Musk, White Garden, and Lemon Breeze, but my husband and I both love the lemon scent, so we've settled on that. Some say products with good ingredients can be drying, but Dr. Seed lathers up nicely and feels gentle. My hair doesn't tend to get oily, so I might not notice a super fresh feeling, but overall I'm quite satisfied. I always stock up on the 1000ml size when Dr. Seed has a sale. While the ingredients are good, since the whole family uses it, the artificial fragrance is a bit... I actually like natural scents too. Maybe I'm asking for too much, aren't I? I buy it in advance when it's on sale. Rather than lathering in your palm, I recommend applying it directly to your scalp and working up a lather there. The formula has a very fluid, water-like consistency. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2020
It lathers up nicely with a refreshing lemon scent. The volume is enormous for such an affordable price. Plus, I'm grateful that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients according to the Hwahae app. I'm happily using it! The container is too dark, making it difficult to see how much product is left. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2019
For a lemon scent, it lasts surprisingly long. The ingredients are also quite decent. While there aren't any standout advantages, there aren't really any drawbacks either, which is why I've mainly commented on the fragrance. The scent is more reminiscent of lemon aromatherapy than fresh lemons. If you bought this expecting a zesty lemon fragrance, you might be a bit disappointed. However, it's worth noting that the aromatherapy-like quality is what makes the scent last longer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2019
As I age, my hair has become thinner and less voluminous, so I choose cosmetics and shampoos based on their ingredients. I used to use Dr. Seed Midnight, then switched to Kundal, but found it quickly became greasy with weak cleansing effectiveness. So I switched back to Dr. Seed. I prefer the Lemon Breeze scent over Midnight's ambiguous fragrance. The generous volume is a plus. The gentle ingredients make it suitable for my whole family - my elementary school daughter and husband are all using it now. The downside of its low pH is the disappointing cleansing power. When I use hair essence-like products before shampooing, often there's barely any lather. I've had to wash my hair up to three times to feel clean. I know lots of foam can indicate harsh surfactants, but when there's hardly any, I worry if it's actually cleaning my hair. It's frustrating! Because of this, I've gone through two-thirds of a 1000ml bottle in just half a month. My daughter says it lathers well for her, so maybe it depends on hair type. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 28, 2019
* Scent I love the fragrance! Usually, products with lemon scents are too subtle, but this one has a wonderfully strong aroma! If you enjoy citrusy scents but don't like them too tart, this product might feel a bit intense. It's more zesty than sweet, with a burst of freshness. * Cleansing effectiveness It's excellent! As someone with very oily hair, I prioritize cleansing power, and this doesn't disappoint. If I wash at 8 AM, my hair starts to get a bit greasy around 9 PM, but that might be due to the warmer weather... I'm satisfied with this level of performance. Despite its strong cleansing ability, I didn't experience any dryness. * Price Considering the volume and ingredients, it's reasonably priced. * Softness Even without using conditioner, my hair feels soft after washing. I didn't have any issues. Some products cause dandruff on my scalp, but this one didn't. If you really dislike strong citrus scents, you might want to choose a different fragrance option. When your hair is extremely greasy, it might not lather well. I recommend washing lightly once, then following up with a second wash for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinMar 1, 2019
The fragrance is lovely. It has a refreshing scent. The aroma is quite intense at first. While the scent is pleasant right after washing, it doesn't seem to last very long. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 21, 2018
I've tried the Lemon Breeze and Bebe Musk from this product line. Scent: Both fragrances are pleasant and agreeable! Lemon Breeze has a strong lemon and citrus scent initially, but it softens after rinsing, leaving a subtle lemon aroma. Bebe Musk starts with an intense baby powder and musk blend, which also mellows into a delightful, gentle fragrance after washing and drying. Ingredients: As you can see from the list, everything's fine except for one fragrance ingredient. I've heard it's a natural shampoo. Value for money: It's a natural shampoo in a 1000ml bottle, available for just $14.90 when on sale! The discount seems to be ongoing. Lather: It works hard in the foam department - actually, this was the primary reason I decided to buy it. You only need a small amount for a rich lather. Great stuff! For a few years, I've been dealing with dead skin cells, itching, and recently, even pustular blemishes. After some research, I found out it might be seborrheic dermatitis. While I had similar issues with other products, it seems to have gotten a bit worse with this one. At first, I thought maybe I wasn't cleansing thoroughly enough, so I tried washing twice and even massaging my scalp, but nothing helped. I guess this product just doesn't suit me... I also experienced significant hair loss. I switched from Kundal to Dr. Seed, both known for being cost-effective natural shampoos, but I'm really struggling with the continued hair loss and itching. Kundal was at least only 500ml and didn't lather much, so I used it up quickly. But this one is 1000ml, and I'm not sure what to do with it. For those with a healthy scalp, this might be the best shampoo ever. If anyone knows of a shampoo that works wonders for seborrheic dermatitis, please recommend it!
