The most satisfying aspects of using Bioderma Cicabio Pommade Cream are its powerful hydration and skin-soothing effects. The triple moisturizing ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and xylitol, create a protective moisture barrier on the skin, keeping it hydrated for hours. It's especially effective when applied generously to sensitive or flaky skin - you'll notice a significantly smoother complexion the next day. Despite its rich texture, it adheres well to the skin when applied, and you can feel it quickly calming any redness caused by external irritants or blemishes. A major plus is that it's fragrance-free, colorant-free, and non-comedogenic, making it safe for sensitive skin and even infants! It's my go-to regenerating cream for dry winter months, when my skin barrier is weakened, or after exfoliation when my skin needs extra moisture. I plan to keep using it as a reliable skin savior.
Cons
First off, the rich and thick texture makes it feel a bit heavy when applying, and it takes some time to absorb, leaving a slightly sticky residue on the skin. Especially for those with oily skin, it can make the face look too shiny, making frequent use challenging. If you have oily or combination skin, be cautious about using it daily as it might cause small bumps or pimples. After application, it tends to attract hair and dust, and when used under makeup, it can sometimes cause pilling. I mainly used it at night or on days when I wasn't going out. The 40ml size is relatively small, so it runs out quickly if used generously. Also, those sensitive to certain ingredients like mineral oil should check the ingredient list before use.

For sensitive skin or after exfoliation, apply a generous amount and use it with a wrap, plastic pack, or modeling mask to reduce stickiness and improve absorption. Pros
It's wonderfully moisturizing and has a nice, bouncy texture that's perfect for extremely dry skin days. However, I'd recommend using it at night because it tends to pill and become patchy when you layer sunscreen over it.
Cons
You need to make sure your toner is fully absorbed before applying this. If you apply it right after toner, it tends to clump up, which is a bit frustrating.

Pros

I'm currently on my third jar of this product, and I'm writing this review after using more than half of the current one. This cream is fragrance-free, with a color similar to a mud mask, and has a rich, bouncy texture. 1. The hydration power is out of this world. It feels like you're applying an explosion of oil and moisture to your face, and the hydration lasts for hours. When applied at night, your skin remains plump and moisturized until the next morning. 2. Despite its rich oil and moisture content, it doesn't cause acne or excessive sebum production, no matter how much you apply. In fact, the high moisture content reduces sebum production, resulting in refined skin with a natural glow. 3. It might feel a bit thick at first application, but after massaging it a few times, it melts with your body heat, spreading evenly and smoothly for easy application. 4. The moisturizing power is so good that even those without dry skin can feel the hydration with just a small amount. 5. Being fragrance-free and with good ingredients, it's suitable for worry-free application. 6. I know people in their 20s, 40s, and 70s who are all satisfied with this product and keep repurchasing it. I'm also on my third jar. 7. I believe this product is most effective for preventing wrinkles through hydration in all seasons except midsummer.
Cons
1. While there's not much to complain about, it might be a bit heavy for makeup application due to its intense hydration. I only use it on makeup-free days or at night. 2. Due to its slightly sticky texture, I wouldn't recommend applying it on body parts that might come into contact with clothes or objects.

Pros
I started using this after a coworker recommended it, and it's absolutely fantastic for hydration! To be honest, it's probably not suitable for summer use, and those with oily skin should definitely steer clear. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love applying a generous amount of essence followed by this cream before bed. In the morning, my skin feels so supple and amazing! It does feel a bit rich, but it absorbs well into the skin. I never use it in the morning, only at night before sleep. This cream really works hard to fill the skin with hydration and maintain moisture levels.
Cons
It might be too rich for those with oily skin, and I wouldn't recommend it for summer use. The price is quite high, but it's still so good!

Pros
I managed well with squalane moisturizer all summer, but when winter came, I experienced extreme deep dryness and tightness. I even tried the La Roche-Posay B5 cream, but it didn't suit me. I tested this at Olive Young before buying, and I loved its moderate bounce and protective oil barrier. I'll apply it thickly at night before bed. Even when I used a hydrating cushion, I was worried about deep dryness and fine lines becoming noticeable by afternoon. But with this product, applying a thin layer once or twice makes my skin feel firmer, allowing the cushion to adhere better! I'm under the heater all day, but it gives me a subtle Inner Glow and combats deep dryness, which I love so much!
Cons
The price is a bit high... But since you only need to use a pea-sized amount each time, it might be worth it!
Tip
However, due to its rich texture, it may cause pilling with makeup. When applying cushion/foundation, use a damp sponge to smooth it out before layering. Honestly, without any exaggeration, can you see the skin texture and glow after 10 hours? This is an unedited front camera photo from a Galaxy phone!
