As someone with chronically dry lips, I've been a lip balm nomad for ages. But this product made me settle down instantly! It's genuinely moisturizing and fantastic. I can't find any drawbacks in terms of scent or how it absorbs. It doesn't even have that typical greasy shine you often get with tube lip balms! For me, there were no downsides at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2021
I loved how moisturizing this lip balm was. It worked better than a stick balm and really improved my lips. It didn't remove severe dead skin cells in one go. You need to apply it several times and wait for it to work. - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2021
I absolutely adore this product! I highly recommend it from the get-go. My lips tend to get extremely dry and develop dead skin cells, even in summer, to the point where they crack. I've gone through about five tubes of Carmex lip balm before, but it always made my lips feel uncomfortably tingly, as if they were plumping up. So, I decided to try something different and bought this when it was on sale at LOHB's. Oh my goodness, it makes my lips feel so comfortable and velvety soft! It's nothing like Kiehl's overly rich feeling. Plus, the 15ml size is quite generous. I really can't recommend this enough! There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I usually only use tube-type lip balms, so I love the packaging too. It's all good! - se************Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 4, 2021
Due to bad habits since childhood, my lips always had dead skin cells and cracks, but after discovering this product, my lips became smooth. It applies softly without any stickiness. When applied before bed, you'll see results immediately the next morning. For those with severely dry lips, applying a small amount over the dead skin cells in the morning can help calm the situation down. In conclusion, I've been using this product for 7-8 years already. For the stick type, I prefer Uriage, and for the tube type, Bioderma. Will there ever be a product that surpasses these? The tube format means you have to apply it with your hands, and it can be difficult to control the amount? As for the product's effectiveness, there are no shortcomings. The Bioderma stick type doesn't have the same effect as the tube type. I think the stick type from Uriage is better. If you apply it before going to bed at night, you'll wake up with incredibly smooth lips in the morning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2021
This is a product I've used up 8 times! It's absolutely top-notch for hydration. I honestly can't think of any downsides. Everyone should definitely give it a try! - sb****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2021
The absorbs well is very smooth and there's hardly any scent, making it quite versatile. It's great to use before or after colored lip balms that might lack hydration, as it maintains a glossy look while keeping lips moisturized. I appreciate that it's not in stick form, which seems more hygienic. To be honest, I bought this in a hurry at Olive Young because I lost my lip balm. I've been using Bioderma's cleansing water and toner for a long time with great results, so I trusted the brand and purchased this. However, compared to Bioderma's reputation or recognition, this lip balm seems a bit lacking. Especially when compared to Sidmool's Jojoba Lip Balm that I used before, the hydration seems to fall short. While it may vary from person to person, I found myself having to apply it quite frequently. I'm not sure if it's good value for money either. It just feels like an ordinary lip balm. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2021
The scent is lovely, and it's so comfortable for everyday use that I've been using it for years now. When I apply a thick layer before bed, it's great for exfoliating dead skin cells the next morning. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it! When other lip balms were embroiled in carcinogen controversies, this was the only one that remained free from such debates. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2021
Still wondering which lip balm to buy? Look no further than Bioderma! As someone who unconsciously licks their lips and picks at dead skin, my lips were in constant distress. I've tried countless lip balms over the years, from famous brands to obscure ones. Why haven't I reviewed them? Because they pale in comparison to Bioderma - it's the only one that matters now. Some lip balms tend to soften dead skin cells, making them more noticeable. If they don't fall off naturally, you end up picking at them and reapplying balm, creating a vicious cycle. But not this one. Despite being in a tube, it absorbs surprisingly quickly. Instead of just sitting on the surface, it penetrates deep into your lips, calming them rather than exacerbating flakiness. Apply it after brushing your teeth or washing your face, and your lips transform. They don't just look shiny or greasy - they become naturally healthy, as if that's how they've always been. You'll realize this is how lips are meant to feel: moisturized and soft without any irritation. There's also a stick version with similar effects. Just remember to apply the same amount as you would squeeze from the tube. While the stick is convenient, I personally prefer the tube as I'm not fond of dust collecting on stick products. I apply it after brushing my teeth and before bed. Make sure to use it before sleeping! You'll wake up to amazingly smooth lips that you won't believe are your own. If there's a downside, it might be that the tube requires applying with your fingers. But since this can be solved by opting for the stick version, I wouldn't really consider it a drawback. If you're going to buy a lip balm anyway, just go for this one. Choose the stick version for convenience. Opt for the tube if you want more intensive hydration. Don't forget to apply it before bed! The stick version is often buy-one-get-one-free at Olive Young, while the tube frequently goes on sale. Wait for discounts to make your purchase. - ye********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2020
Being colorless and odorless, it was comfortable to use without any major inconveniences. Its small size made it convenient to carry around. In my opinion, it was a bit pricey for a lip balm, which made me hesitate. I bought it because it was widely known as an extremely moisturizing lip balm, but I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn't as hydrating as I expected. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2020
As someone with extremely dry lips and surrounding area, I find this lip balm incredibly moisturizing and love that it's fragrance-free. I usually go through lip balms quickly since I apply them frequently, but this one lasts longer due to its generous amount compared to others. The only minor issue is that dust tends to collect on the cap, requiring frequent cleaning. Other than that, I have no complaints. Applying a generous amount before bed leads to great results in the morning.
