It's the best for removing dead skin cells. After using it, all those annoying blackheads and whiteheads on my nose and chin that felt bumpy to the touch just disappear by the next day. And this effect lasts for nearly 5 days! I've honestly tried everything - nose strips, cleansing oils, other brands' exfoliating pads, peeling gels - but since I started using this product, it's the only thing I need for exfoliation. And it's not just harsh exfoliation; it contains ingredients like green tea and tea tree that seem to be soothing as well. It feels amazing to touch my skin after using it - so smooth, it puts me in such a good mood!
ConsThe gauze side can be a bit tingly. However, since I only use it twice a week, it's not a major issue.
TipFirst, wipe with the gauze side, then use the soft side to even out the skin texture.

The best thing about using Neogen Dermalogy Green Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling was its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells! After using this product during my evening skincare routine and completing my regimen, I woke up the next morning to find that the scattered patches of flaky skin had disappeared =) As a result, I noticed my skin was much more receptive to makeup application the following day! I also have super sensitive skin. Usually, when I use other pad products, I often feel a scraping sensation and my face becomes flushed, which led me to constantly switch between different pads. However, when I tried this product, I didn't experience any discomfort while using the Neogen Dermalogy Green Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling. Instead, I felt refreshed and noticed that it didn't cause any irritation. Lastly, what I really appreciated about this product is its unique design. Unlike other products, it has a pocket for your fingers, making it incredibly convenient to use. Normally, even when using both sides of a pad, you have to hold it from one side, which can be uncomfortable. This product completely eliminates that inconvenience. I highly recommend this product to: • Those with super sensitive skin and anyone struggling with dead skin cells on their face! =)
ConsThe first drawback is that while this product is extremely gentle, when used close to the eyes, it can cause a burning sensation and make your eyes water. If you have sensitive eyes, I strongly advise avoiding the eye area when using this product. The second minor issue is that the amount of essence in the pads seems a bit excessive, which can make absorption slightly slower. To address this, you can gently pat your skin to help it absorb better.
TipRemember to use gentle motions when applying! Even though it's a mild product, it's still an exfoliating pad. If you rub too vigorously or excessively, it can irritate your skin.

This exfoliating pad is a game-changer! I was skeptical about its dead skin cell removal abilities, but after use, my skin felt incredibly smooth. Makeup application was noticeably better than usual. The pad works wonders on blackheads, especially around the nose area, leaving it super smooth (though it doesn't actually remove blackheads). Not only does it tackle dead skin cells, but it also removes leftover makeup and dirt from your face. I love that it's an all-in-one product - you can exfoliate with the gauze side, then use the embossed side to refine skin texture and soothe. It's so convenient to do everything in one go! Compared to other exfoliating products, this pad is much more user-friendly. No need to rinse or wait - just wipe and you're done! The thickness of the pad is a big plus. Unlike thinner pads that can tear or feel too rough, these are sturdy and comfortable to use. You can apply a bit more pressure without worrying about irritation. One pad is enough for your entire face, making it great value for money. Lastly, the scent isn't overwhelming at all - a definite bonus!
ConsAs someone with sensitive skin, I was worried about the roughness of the gauze side. While it didn't cause significant redness, the exfoliation process itself felt a bit harsh. I probably won't be able to use this too frequently. While the all-in-one concept is great, including the soothing pad, there's almost too much essence on it. This makes it difficult to remove the exfoliated dead skin cells (as seen in the attached photo). I felt the need to go over my face again with my regular toner to feel completely clean.
TipWhen using the exfoliating pad, I found it's best to roll it gently over your face rather than rubbing. This reduces irritation while still effectively removing dead skin cells. Apply a bit more pressure when rolling around the sides of your nose. For the soothing pad, use outward strokes from the center of your face to help remove any remaining exfoliated particles. In my case, I could still see some residue even after using the soothing pad, so I followed up with my usual toner as an extra exfoliating step. After all these steps, my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth!

The biggest advantage of this product is that it allows for easy care when you're too lazy for regular exfoliation! The thick pads are generously sized and soaked in essence. Even after wiping my face, the pad was still moist enough to use on my arms and legs. Using the gauze side on blackheads and whiteheads left my skin feeling refreshed. Despite being essence-rich, it wasn't sticky and absorbed quickly. The tea tree scent suggests it might have a soothing effect on blemish-prone skin (though I can't confirm as I don't have any blemishes currently). When used before makeup, it created a smooth base without any pilling. I think using it twice a week is ideal, and with 30 sheets per container, it should last about two months. The expiration date is until 2023, so there's plenty of time to use it up.
ConsThe gauze part might be irritating for sensitive skin, so I'd recommend using the embossed side if you have delicate skin. I have some dry patches, and the essence felt slightly tingly on those areas. Overall, the user experience is good, but the price is a bit steep for me. I'll have to think about whether to purchase it after this Hwahae Tester experience. If it goes on sale, I'd be more inclined to buy it.

There's a strong hint of green tea. Pads: The pads are dual-sided with gauze on one side and an embossed surface on the other. This seems like a brilliant idea. Plus, they're designed with a pocket for your finger, which is incredibly convenient. Dead skin cell and blackhead/whitehead removal: I've been using it three times a week, and I've definitely noticed improvements. The day after my first use, my makeup went on much smoother. After a week of consistent use, my skin looked noticeably better. Soothing: Thanks to the PHA and green tea ingredients, there's a calming effect. While it's not dramatic, I've seen a decent reduction in blemishes and small bumps.
ConsCaution: My dad mentioned a stinging sensation when using the pads. It seems they don't suit him well (though they work wonders for me, and I'm definitely repurchasing!). Foam: For some reason, the gauze side creates a foam when rubbing. While this isn't a major drawback, I'm not a fan of foam in non-cleansing products. I wanted to deduct half a star for these two issues, but since half-star ratings aren't an option, I'm giving it 4 stars.
TipInstead of scrubbing hard, gently roll the pad over your skin. With consistent use, you'll definitely see improvements in your complexion. I kept mine in the fridge for a refreshing, cool application!
