When applied, it comes out as a white formula, but since it doesn't absorb quickly, I recommend using it only at home.
ConsIt's disappointing that it absorbs slowly. There are no other drawbacks.
TipIf you apply it generously before bed, the dead skin cells on your lips naturally disappear overnight.

When you apply it to dry lips, they become moisturized quickly. I liked that it provides good hydration even with a small amount, and the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time. It's also quite effective at softening dead skin cells. If you apply a thick layer while drying your hair in the morning and then wipe it off, it removes the dead skin cells cleanly. - It seems to contain a bit of menthol as it creates a cooling sensation on the lips. I personally like lip balms with menthol, so I enjoyed this. I think the cooling effect is slightly stronger than the Blistex jar type! - The tube packaging makes it hygienic and easy to use.
Cons- The absorption... Since it's a product with SPF, it's probably meant for daytime use, but the absorption isn't great, which made it disappointing to carry around and use outside. The texture is more cream-like than balm-like, and it's white, so if you apply too much or it doesn't absorb well, the white cream can sit on top of your lips, making them look pale. Moreover, as mentioned in the pros, it's good at softening dead skin cells, so if you apply a bit too much, you end up with a messy combination of white cream and dead skin cells on your lips. This makes it quite inconvenient for use outside.

Its advantages? Well, it's small, that's for sure. The packaging is pretty, and it has a nice cooling effect when applied. But... that's about it. I'm afraid I can't really recommend it.
ConsThis is more like an ointment. When you apply it, it doesn't absorb well and just sits on top of your lips like a white paste. No matter how much you rub or blend, it stays there like a layer of white ointment floating on your lips. This isn't the kind of lip balm you'd want to use when you're out and about. It's more suited for applying before bed.

It's just the right amount of moisturizing. Compared to the solid Blistex, this one feels like it keeps your lips hydrated for longer. - Sun Protection I only realized the importance of sun protection for lips after I developed a spot on mine... There aren't many lip balms with UV protection out there, but I'm already on my nth tube of Blistex!
Cons- Irritation While the solid Blistex caused slight irritation (very minimal), this one is a bit more intense for me. - Amount Control is Essential When I first applied it carelessly, I was shocked to see my lips turn white. Also, it absorbs rather slowly, so you need to apply a thin layer. (This doesn't matter if you're applying it before bed.)

And it's great for managing the flaky skin that tends to appear around the lip area during seasonal changes. As winter approaches, my lips have been getting drier, so I always keep this in my bag - it's become a beloved item of mine~
ConsThose who dislike the 'Hwahae' feeling may not find this to be a good fit, and since it's a cream formula, it does take some time to fully absorb.
TipIf you apply the lip balm and then gently pat it in, it will absorb quickly~

Haha, it's just so-so +) On April 13, 2024, it will be completely promoted from 2 stars to 5 stars The reasons I recommend this product: 1. When your lips are completely dried out and no matter how much oily lip balm you apply, they just won't recover... 2. When your lips are smooth and supple but terribly dry and cracked It's just... so good
Cons✔️ The scent is too unpleasant ✔️ Do we really need SPF in a lip balm...? I wonder ✔️ It forms a film-like layer and absorbs quite slowly... +) If you adjust the amount you use, you can solve the issue of slow absorption among the disappointing points! Just use an amount the size of a grain of rice and it should work well!

Since then, I've been using this item exclusively. Due to my normally high levels of flakiness and dryness, I've been living off of lip balm, but this one allows me to apply a thick layer before bed, and I wake up with my lips feeling completely moisturized the next day.
ConsThe absorption takes quite a while, so it's a bit difficult for me to use regularly. The tingling sensation also lingers for some time.

As it is absorbed, the menthol sensation becomes more subtle, and once fully absorbed, it becomes as soft as applying lipstick. If you leave it on for a few hours, it can also act as an exfoliator. This seems like a product worth trying. Considering the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask's efficacy, this is a decent product. Lastly, the small size makes it very convenient to carry around.
ConsSince it has a cream-like balm texture, a transparent white color is visible when applied to the lips, and it takes over 20 minutes to be fully absorbed, depending on the amount applied. Personally, I prefer products with a stronger menthol sensation, so I wish the cooling effect would last longer.

The cream-based formula didn't feel overly slippery, and it applied smoothly and moisturized my lips nicely. Moreover, the standout feature of this lip balm is its ⭐️exfoliating ability⭐️!! After using it, I noticed significant improvement in removing lip flakes and smoothing my lips.
ConsIt was a bit tricky to control the amount I applied, and as a cream formula, it took some time to fully absorb into my lips. Just a small amount can make my lips look a bit chalky, and applying too much can create a yogurt-like appearance later on. ⭐️I don't think this is the best option for wearing out and about.:( The moisturizing power felt on par with tube-type lip balms, but not as nourishing as stick or balm-type formulas. The scent has a divisive medicinal fragrance (personally, I didn't find it very pleasant).
Tip⭐️I recommend applying a generous amount before bedtime⭐️, and gently massaging your lips with water when cleansing in the morning. This will help effortlessly slough off any flaky skin. Doing this routine for just a week can make your lips feel incredibly smooth and supple, with significantly reduced lip peeling. This is truly the best for exfoliating your lips!

I believe those of you who have the habit of picking at lip flakes can relate. In my case, whether it's summer or winter, my lips get so dry that I end up picking at the flakes, causing them to bleed and more flakes to form - an endless cycle... But this past summer, I randomly discovered this product at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. That very night, I applied it before bed, and to my amazement, the flakes had subsided by the next day. It feels like I'm spreading Manseok Raeddam on my lips, and I was worried it might make things worse, but it seems fine as long as there are no existing wounds on the lips. Anyway! To summarize why I recommend this: ✔️ Effectively reduces lip flakes ✔️ Tube type (which I personally prefer) ✔️ Surprisingly smooth and creamy application (like a lotion) I'd recommend this to those who don't mind the Manseok Raeddam-like feel.
Cons🔵 Cons ✔️ May not be ideal for use during the day (It's a lotion-type formula that takes some time to absorb, so I'd recommend applying generously at night before bed⚠️) ✔️ Avoid if your lips are already damaged (Manseok Raeddam...........)
Tip🟢 Tip Apply a generous amount on your lips before bed! It may look white at first, but it absorbs well with a bit of rubbing. Though I just quickly swipe it on and go to sleep... because I'm lazy😅 But it still works great for lip care.
