Pros
I bought this because it's famous, but the size is really small. When applied, it comes out as a white formula, but since it doesn't absorb quickly, I recommend using it only at home.

- The hydration is quite good. When you apply it to dry lips, they become moisturized quickly. I liked that it provides good hydration even with a small amount, and the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time. It's also quite effective at softening dead skin cells. If you apply a thick layer while drying your hair in the morning and then wipe it off, it removes the dead skin cells cleanly. - It seems to contain a bit of menthol as it creates a cooling sensation on the lips. I personally like lip balms with menthol, so I enjoyed this. I think the cooling effect is slightly stronger than the Blistex jar type! - The tube packaging makes it hygienic and easy to use.

I searched high and low for a truly tiny, pocket-sized lip balm, and I found this one. Its advantages? Well, it's small, that's for sure. The packaging is pretty, and it has a nice cooling effect when applied. But... that's about it. I'm afraid I can't really recommend it.

This is more like an ointment. When you apply it, it doesn't absorb well and just sits on top of your lips like a white paste. No matter how much you rub or blend, it stays there like a layer of white ointment floating on your lips. This isn't the kind of lip balm you'd want to use when you're out and about. - Hydration The texture is similar to an ointment cream, but it's not too oily or heavy. It's just the right amount of moisturizing. Compared to the solid Blistex, this one feels like it keeps your lips hydrated for longer. - Sun Protection I only realized the importance of sun protection for lips after I developed a spot on mine... There aren't many lip balms with UV protection out there, but I'm already on my nth tube of Blistex!

If you want a strong, refreshing sensation, the initial application will provide the strongest cooling effect. As it is absorbed, the menthol sensation becomes more subtle, and once fully absorbed, it becomes as soft as applying lipstick. If you leave it on for a few hours, it can also act as an exfoliator. This seems like a product worth trying. Considering the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask's efficacy, this is a decent product. Lastly, the small size makes it very convenient to carry around.

I believe those of you who have the habit of picking at lip flakes can relate. In my case, whether it's summer or winter, my lips get so dry that I end up picking at the flakes, causing them to bleed and more flakes to form - an endless cycle... But this past summer, I randomly discovered this product at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. That very night, I applied it before bed, and to my amazement, the flakes had subsided by the next day. It feels like I'm spreading Manseok Raeddam on my lips, and I was worried it might make things worse, but it seems fine as long as there are no existing wounds on the lips. Anyway!
