Personally, I didn't find the scent unpleasant. It feels moisturizing and seems like it could be effective in controlling blemishes.
ConsDepending on your skin type, it might feel irritating. It's probably best used as a spot treatment, but I don't often use spot treatments myself...

I applied it with a cotton pad, wiping gently, and then patted it onto my palms. When you apply it, you'll immediately notice a strong tea tree scent. There's a slight tingling sensation, but it wasn't overly irritating. I have sensitive, dry skin with some small bumps on my forehead that suddenly appeared. It's not too harsh, and the tea tree scent isn't off-putting. Plus, it didn't cause any additional blemishes to appear.
ConsHowever, it didn't really help reduce existing blemishes either. I've heard exfoliation is good for small bumps, so I'm going to try using it more diligently. I've only been using it for two weeks, so I might not be seeing the full effects yet. If I notice improvements after finishing the bottle, I'll come back with an update. Overall, it seems like a pretty average toner.
TipI learned that BHA helps dissolve sebum inside pores, so I gently wipe it on with a cotton pad to refine my skin texture, then pat a small amount onto my hands. Here's hoping it melts away that sebum deep in my pores~

The small opening allows for precise dispensing. Scent: Strong tea tree fragrance lingers. Texture: Water-like consistency that absorbs quickly upon application. Post-application feel: Skin feels fresh and hydrated. After two weeks of use, I noticed my skin became smoother and more moisturized.
ConsDue to my sensitive skin, the toner caused a tingling and burning sensation. As a result, I used it every other day and kept it in the refrigerator before application. The price seems a bit high for the quantity provided. While it claims to soothe skin and exfoliate dead skin cells, I'll need to use it longer to verify these effects.

Since I have acne, I'm a fan of tea tree. I used it as an exfoliating toner, but found that using it once a day was best. I applied it every evening. It contains AHA and BHA, which are great for removing dead skin cells, but I've heard it's not good to exfoliate too often. What I loved about this exfoliating toner was the moisturizing and refreshing feeling, along with the crisp scent of tea tree. I think this product is well-suited for oily and acne-prone skin. I would definitely repurchase it.
ConsThere weren't any downsides for me. However, for those with super sensitive skin, I'd recommend using it every 3-4 days to give your skin adequate time to adjust.

I have super sensitive skin that reacts to almost everything. To be honest, when I first signed up for the event, I didn't thoroughly check the ingredients of this toner. After winning and examining the back of the product, I noticed it contains AHA, BHA, and PHA. I was a bit worried before using it... wondering if my skin would freak out. The initial feeling after absorption was a slight warming sensation? It also has a mild medicinal scent (typical of functional skincare products). The application wasn't bad, and after using it consistently for about a week, I saw improvements with my blemishes! I had a lot of red spots due to wearing masks, but they gradually subsided. It was great for calming my skin, so I'm continuing to use it.
ConsThe quantity seems a bit small... Since it's a watery toner, I feel like it might run out quickly.

It has a pleasant, slightly floral herbal aroma. Though I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance. As an exfoliating toner, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and invigorated!
ConsMy skin has been super sensitive lately due to wearing masks, and I felt a bit of irritation, so I couldn't use it very often. It might be challenging to use if you have blemishes or sensitive skin.
TipI found that using it as an exfoliating toner was less irritating and provided a better overall experience!

The moment I opened the lid, I was greeted by an invigorating tea tree scent, which was quite refreshing. However, the strong fragrance might be polarizing for some users. I used this exfoliating toner twice daily, morning and night. While its primary function is managing dead skin cells rather than moisturizing, I was pleasantly surprised that it left my skin feeling hydrated after use. Moreover, even when used right after cleansing, the cotton pad showed traces of impurities, suggesting it effectively removes stubborn dead skin cells and residual debris that regular cleansing might miss. When I started using this product, I had some blemishes on my face. After about a week of use, I noticed my blemishes had calmed down somewhat, indicating that this product worked well for my skin.
ConsThe product has a strong tea tree scent, which might be off-putting for those with sensitive noses. Additionally, as it contains AHA, BHA, and PHA, it can effectively manage dead skin cells. However, even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I felt a slight burning sensation immediately after use. For those with super sensitive skin, this might cause excessive irritation, so it's advisable to do a patch test before full application. Since this is designed as an exfoliating toner, it may not be suitable for use as a hydrating toner that you would typically apply multiple times for absorption.

My skin tends to have large pores and be on the oily side. While I don't usually have acne, I've recently noticed some blemishes around my chin and mouth area where my mask touches - probably due to mask-wearing. Though not visible, I could feel small bumps when touching my skin. However, after using this toner, it's improved significantly. The scent has a tea tree aroma. When applied with a cotton pad, it cleanses gently and effectively. There's a distinct cooling effect when you put it on - quite intense at first, but it becomes milder with repeated use. I could definitely feel it working on dead skin cells. My whole face used to feel rough and lackluster, but after using this toner every evening, my skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and somewhat firmer. I really appreciate the cooling sensation, the hydration, and the moisture it provides.
ConsOne downside is that the quantity seems small compared to the price. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin - the cooling effect and intense sensation might cause redness or itching. Also, if you're sensitive to scents or don't like the smell of tea tree, you might want to avoid this as the fragrance is quite strong. I wish the bottle contained more product. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints!

But surprisingly, it dispenses just the right amount without overflowing, which I found quite convenient. Despite its tea tree scent and watery texture, which I thought might evaporate quickly and leave my skin dry, it actually absorbs well when used after my exfoliating toner. It doesn't make my skin feel too dry and seems to be well-retained, leaving a nice balance of softness and hydration. As for dead skin cell removal, pore improvement, and oil control, I'll need to use it more before commenting. For now, I'm satisfied that it doesn't irritate my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed after use.
ConsThe inclusion of tea tree oil in the ingredients might be polarizing. As soon as you open it, there's a strong tea tree scent. If you're not a fan of intense fragrances, this could be a downside. Personally, I don't mind it as the tea tree scent gives me a sense of skin-soothing. When I first used it before going to the gym, I only applied the exfoliating toner followed by a mist. At first, it felt cool, but gradually it started to feel warm. I don't mind this sensation, but I'm mentioning it for those with sensitive skin who might find it irritating. The second time I used it, I applied a light cream after the exfoliating toner, and the warming sensation didn't occur.
TipI usually use 5-ply cotton pads for my exfoliating toner step, but I tried regular cotton pads with this product. Both have their pros and cons. Regular cotton pads absorb more toner but seem less irritating, possibly because they hold more product, and leave a more hydrated finish. 5-ply pads absorb less toner but feel less moist compared to regular pads. I used regular pads initially due to concerns about irritation from the tea tree, but I think 5-ply pads could be good for soothing treatments, while regular pads might be better when you want to boost hydration.
