I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer a long time ago and had the chance to try this product. At the time, my skin was completely flipped, and I couldn't write the review within the given period, so I'm writing it now. I have oily, troubled, and extremely sensitive skin. It feels like I have all the bad skin conditions out there. Back then, my skin was inflamed, and I couldn't use the product at all. But I've tried it a few times when my skin was in a better condition. First of all, the packaging, product color, and fragrance of this product are really nice. As soon as I open the product, the color and scent instantly lift my mood. The fragrance also seems to linger for a while after use. The spreadability and moisturizing power seem good too. As it's a water-based cream, it applies smoothly and comfortably. The best part is that it contains great ingredients like azulene, which really help soothe my skin after breakouts. I just apply a generous amount on the troubled areas and wipe it off, and it works great for calming my skin.
Cons
While this is an excellent product with great ingredients, it didn't work that well for my skin type. I tend to have recurrent skin inflammations and irritations rather than just acne, and my skin is easily aggravated. I generally prefer products without any fragrance, as my sensitive skin doesn't react well to it. Although I praised the nice fragrance earlier, the fact that it contains fragrance is a bit disappointing for me. My skin also seems to have a hard time absorbing water-based creams like this one, and I often feel like the product just sits on the surface without getting fully absorbed. Given my frequent skin inflammation issues, this product wasn't effective enough in soothing and calming my irritated skin. I wouldn't recommend this to someone with skin inflammation problems, but if your skin isn't as sensitive, I'd still suggest trying this product, as the ingredients are really great.
Tip
Applying a generous amount on the troubled, breakout areas and wiping it off works wonders for calming the skin.

๐Authenticity: The aspect that I personally found most useful is the authenticity! I've tried many mild products, but only a few have actually helped calm my acne. And one of those few is this product!! When I apply it before bed and sleep, my skin looks so much better the next day! I saw excellent results in calming my emerging blemishes! They subsided. However, I'm not sure if it's effective for a lot of existing blemishes, as I haven't experienced that. ๐Moisture: The next day, there's no tightness, and my skin becomes almost glowy and smooth!! It may give more of a plump, dense feeling than just moisturized, but there's absolutely no dryness or tightness, so I'd give it full marks for the moisture aspect. ๐Fragrance: This might be a hit-or-miss for some. I generally don't mind fragrance in products, but this one has a slightly stuffy scent. It's a bit heavy. But I've gotten used to it the more I use it. ๐Packaging: It has a little spoon(?) that you can use to scoop out the product, so I think it's hygienic and clean. The semi-transparent packaging also allows you to check the remaining amount, which I like. ๐Breakouts: I have quite sensitive skin, so I was really worried it might cause breakouts when I first started using it.
