It's like water Scent: Fragrance-free I applied for this product because of the 'vegan toner' label. My skin usually goes crazy with the wrong products, but if this didn't suit me, I would have written a review before the two weeks were up! Due to the changing seasons, my skin was cracking so badly that I had completely stopped using face oils for a few days. I applied for this vegan toner after hearing about its amazing hydration, and I was lucky enough to win. Thank you so much. This is truly a life-changing toner for combination dehydrated skin. I used it right away on the first day. Even though I use a low pH cleanser, my skin still felt like it was cracking - those with combination dehydrated skin will understand this struggle! I opened it and patted it on... Wow! The moisturizing effect is beyond words! I feel lost without it now. On the first day, my skin was so dry that I applied it three times. On days 2-4, I used it twice, and from day 5 onwards, just one application was enough to feel fully hydrated. Whoever developed this product, please accept my eternal gratitude! For me, especially during seasonal changes, this has become an absolute must-have product.
ConsI wish it had a protruding tube-type opening... Every time I dispense some to pat on, a little bit spills out, which is such a waste!
TipIt absorbs so much better if you use it after a regular exfoliating pad! I tried this on the third day and now I'm using it every 2-3 days.

I love that it didn't cause any blemish outbreaks and the large size means I can use it without worry. The consistency isn't too thick, but it's substantial enough that you don't need to use a cotton pad, which is convenient and allows for better hydration. However, you do need to dispense it into your hands, which means you have to wash your hands thoroughly first - a bit of a hassle, haha! Overall, it's gentle and moisturizing, though perhaps not quite as hydrating as the 447.8% claim on the sticker suggests. Still, it's gentle and hydrating enough that I'll keep using it. As for repurchasing... well, I'll have to think about that.
ConsWhile the consistency isn't too thick, it's not easy to use with a cotton pad. Even if you tap the cotton pad on the bottle, it doesn't get saturated easily. So I use a two-step process: first, I use a cotton pad very lightly to remove excess moisture and tidy up, then I apply it with my hands. But even dispensing it into my hands is tricky... it's not thick enough to stay put on the back of my hand, so it runs and makes a mess. I wasted quite a bit at first, but now I just wash my palms thoroughly and dispense it there. The downside is that it takes longer. As mentioned in the pros, it is moisturizing, but not extremely so. Especially if you only use it with a cotton pad... it feels very insufficient, even dry. That's why I do the second application with my hands. Unfortunately, because of this, I've used up quite a bit already even though I haven't had it for long. I need to use it more wisely! Still, I'm using it well and I'm satisfied.
TipFirst with a cotton pad (lightly), then apply with hands!! This method seems to make it much more hydrating! If you apply it directly to your hands after washing your face (I don't dry my face with a towel, just pat off the big water droplets with my hands before skincare), the toner doesn't absorb well and feels slippery.

This was my first time trying an acidic toner, as well as my first experience with Make P:rem products! Inner Glow and Soothing: The toner has a very watery consistency. I applied it using a cotton pad for a toner mask, then patted it in with my hands. To really test its effectiveness, I reduced my use of other products and focused on this one. I also tried using it alongside my regular products. I noticed a significant reduction in my acne when using this toner! That's what I'm most satisfied with. I now understand why acidic toners are so beneficial. Hydration: Although I have oily skin that lacks moisture, I'm not a fan of heavy products. This toner is lightweight yet hydrating, which I really appreciate. After using it as a mask and patting it in, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. Size: I was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the bottle! While watery toners tend to run out faster than others, I think this one will last quite a while due to its large volume. Overall, I'm most satisfied with how gentle this product is. Being acidic, I think it would work well for those with blemish-prone or super sensitive skin like mine.
ConsI didn't have any major issues while using this product, but if I had to point out one thing, it would be that it's so watery it tends to drip when dispensing it into my hand. That's a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I'm satisfied with everything else.
TipSince it's a watery toner, I recommend applying it with a cotton pad. If you need extra soothing or feel your skin is dry, try using it as a toner mask. If you still feel you need more hydration, pat some into your skin with your hands before applying other creams or moisturizers.

I love soaking cotton pads with toner for a mask during my skincare routine, and it stays hydrating even after 10 minutes. You can really trust this product for hydration!
Cons- Overly watery consistency I'm not sure if it's because of the large cap or the thin texture, but it doesn't gather well in my hand. It just runs off, unfortunately. I think it would be much better to use this with a cotton pad for application rather than trying to apply it directly to your face and letting it absorb.
TipRather than applying it directly to your face, this would work great as an exfoliating toner or for toner masking! It's not heavy at all and feels refreshing, so it's not burdensome when left on the face as a mask.

Usage period: January 8th to January 16th (8 days) Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin My skin is combination dehydrated, but lately it's been so tight and dry that I almost think it's become dry skin. 1. Hydration and texture ⭐⭐⭐ It's described as an essence-type hydrating and soothing toner, but it feels more like clear water than an essence. When applied to a cotton pad, there was no stickiness at all. At first, I wiped my face with the toner on a cotton pad and then applied an emulsion, but it wasn't incredibly moisturizing. So I used it as an exfoliating toner and then applied it with my hands for a second layer. This gave me a slightly more hydrated feeling. 2. Soothing ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It contains dill extract, which is said to be effective for soothing, and I could definitely feel it calming my blemishes and redness after washing my face. My skin tends to get hot easily, and in winter, my pores often enlarged due to redness. But with this, the soothing effect reduced the heat, and my pores have visibly shrunk. 3. Absorption ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As mentioned, it's more water-like than an essence, so it absorbs really well! You can use it in various ways - put it in a mist bottle and use it as a mist, use it as an exfoliating toner, or apply multiple layers. 4. Scent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There's no scent at all - it's fragrance-free! Since it doesn't contain added fragrances, you can use it freely without worry. 5. Volume ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was surprised by the volume. I thought it would be smaller since it's a toner, but it's quite large. You can stock up and use it in various ways for a long time. Additional notes: My skin is very sensitive, so I've been using only low pH products for foam cleansing and emulsions. The Safe Me Relief Essence Toner has a pH of 5.5, so I could use it with confidence! My skin is so sensitive that even the slightest incompatibility can cause blemishes and ruin my skin texture, so I think even those with super sensitive skin can use this without worry. Also, it's made without animal-derived ingredients and is cruelty-free, which made me feel more confident and reassured about using it.
Cons1. Texture Although it's described as an essence-type toner, the texture is completely watery. It runs off your hands easily, which was a bit surprising. 2. Not recommended for certain skin types I wouldn't recommend this for those with extremely dry skin! While it does provide some hydration, the moisture seems to evaporate over time, and it's not as hydrating as one might hope. A single application isn't enough to fully hydrate the skin.

However, it effectively removed any residue after cleansing without causing irritation, leaving my skin feeling refined. With a pH of 5.5, this mildly acidic hydrating toner not only provides moisture but also seems to improve skin texture. Above all, I love this brand's high-quality ingredients, which led me to purchase other products from them. With its skin-friendly formula and excellent hydration, it's a product I want to keep using consistently!
ConsWhile the bottle opening was perfect for use as an exfoliating toner, it felt a bit wasteful when applying by hand as it tended to drip. There's really nothing to complain about with the toner itself, so this minor packaging issue is the only thing that comes to mind if I had to mention something.
TipWhen my skin became extremely sensitive, I applied the toner directly to my hands and patted it onto my face, which felt soothing and hydrating! On days when I wore heavy makeup, I used it as an exfoliating toner to remove residue and refine my skin texture. By adapting my usage method based on my skin's daily condition, I noticed improvements in both texture and hydration!

It's truly the real deal. My skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with a dry U-zone and oily T-zone. My nose, philtrum, and jawline are super sensitive (I get itchy and tingly with unsuitable products). >> After using this, I didn't experience any irritation, and the ingredients seemed to suit me well! My oily-skinned sister also loved it when she tried it. We used to use separate toners due to our different skin types, but now we're both using this one. I'd recommend it for all skin types! Texture: It feels just like water. Perfect for exfoliating with a cotton pad! It's a bit tricky to pat in with your hands, but I can overlook that... it's not a deal-breaker. Absorption: With its water-like texture, it naturally absorbs better than thicker formulas! Hydration: I want to give it 100 points out of 10 for hydration! I want to smack myself for thinking this watery toner would only be good for exfoliating and evening out skin texture. The hydration is seriously impressive... I can see why they call it an 'essence toner'. You can feel the hydration even when exfoliating... wow! Honestly, if you do the 3-skin method with this, you might not need other skincare steps. Other notes: This toner really made me realize how important a good base is for makeup. When I use this to exfoliate once and pat in once, then apply my usual hydrating ampoule and moisturizer before tapping on cushion foundation, my face suddenly has a glow I never had before, and my dead skin cells are less noticeable. It's amazing how changing just one product can make such a difference. I used to be a skincare nomad, but now I'm considering switching all my products to Make P:rem. I plan to use this toner for life. While I'm writing this review as part of the event, I honestly thought I'd regret applying when I won because writing reviews can be a hassle. But now, I'm so grateful to Make P:rem and the Hwahae team for this opportunity. You'll be blessed for this!
ConsAre there any downsides to this product? If I had to pick something, maybe that it's runny when you pour it into your hand due to its watery texture? But honestly, I can't think of any real cons.
TipThe best tip is simply to use this product. Seriously, what are you all waiting for? Go buy it now!

I was curious after watching YouTuber Kyungsun's video, and I'm glad I got the chance to try it as a Hwahae Tester! First off, I found it refreshing that it's a vegan toner. I consider toners extremely important, so I was very pleased with the large volume. I usually do at least 3 layers of toner, and although the watery texture made me wonder if it would be hydrating enough, I was surprised by its incredible moisturizing power! For a water-like formula, it had exceptional hydration - living up to its claims. Perhaps due to its good ingredients, my sensitive skin didn't experience any blemishes! While it's not dramatically amazing, it's a gentle, hydrating toner that excels at the basics with its mild ingredients.
ConsPersonally, I find watery products a bit inconvenient as they tend to drip when applying, so I prefer slightly thicker textures. That's why I found the consistency a bit disappointing. However, this is really just a matter of personal preference, so I can't say there was anything particularly unsatisfactory!
TipFor maximum hydration, apply at least 3 layers!

Then, I use my hands to pat on a second layer of toner. For me, the skin feels a bit dry after the exfoliating toner, so I apply it twice! (I've tried both hands and cotton pads, and it absorbs well either way.) It seems to help with deep dryness too. The scent is almost undetectable, so even those with sensitive noses can use it comfortably. I have sensitive skin with mild atopic tendencies, but I've been using this morning and night without any tingling or itching, which is fantastic! Plus, it doesn't cause any blemishes, making it a product I really like.
ConsLike others have mentioned, the toner bottle is slightly disappointing. When I dispense it with my hands, it keeps spilling over the sides, which feels wasteful. Other than that, I can't think of any other downsides.

With 400ml, it's perfect for doing skin soaks. The photo below shows how much is left after about 5 days of use. Usually, such hydrating toners can feel sticky or not absorb well, but this one absorbs beautifully without any stickiness... It's amazing! I have dry skin, and typically just toner isn't enough, but with the Relief Toner, I don't feel any deep dryness even when I use it alone! The improvement in hydration after use is really noticeable. Also, it's nearly fragrance-free, so even those with sensitive noses should be able to use it comfortably!
ConsThe formula is quite watery, and the opening is a bit large, so if you're not careful, it can pour out quickly. Also, I didn't really notice any effect on my blemishes. However, it does seem to be an excellent toner for boosting hydration.
TipIt's great for skin soaking routines. The large opening allows you to quickly saturate cotton pads. Since there's so much product, you can use it generously without feeling wasteful! I always used it for my daily mask routine.
