The strong, sweet cosmetic scent lingers. While the staying power seems good at first, it inevitably comes off when eating oily foods. The longevity and staining are decent, but not exceptional - you might experience the 'yogurt effect' when eating. It wears off messily. It doesn't seem to suit me; I think the benzyl alcohol might be irritating my sensitive lips. When first applied, it's not drying and feels like a thin, moist vinyl film clinging to your lips, which is fine. But after it wears off, my lips feel very dry and wrinkled. Sometimes my lips feel irritated after use... Probably just an occasional-use item for me.

I'm not a fan of shine, so I lightly blot it with a tissue. It's a slightly toned-down red, perfect for winter - a juicy red that looks like your lips are water-stained. If you layer it and press your lips together, it stains for decent longevity. It develops into a clear, pretty red. The water-stained effect gives it a sexy vibe, and the color is absolutely stunning.

The reason I usually dislike these moisturizing types is that they tend to wipe off while applying, but this lip product doesn't do that. It applies smoothly and evenly. You can fill your lips with just a small amount (for a natural gradient look). I received this as a birthday gift and I'm completely satisfied! I had been wanting to try it after seeing some promotional posts. Oh, and the staying power is really good for a moisturizing lip product - two thumbs up!

Dabbed on lightly, it creates a cherry-like lip color. Applied full-on, it makes a bold statement that demands attention.
