I couldn't find many positives about this product... It's possible that the shade just didn't match my complexion. It doesn't effectively smooth over chapped lips. The product settles into fine lines so much that it might have been better not to apply it at all. Looking at the third photo, you can see there's hardly any staining on the tissue after wiping. Plus, it comes off easily, which means you end up reapplying more frequently. There's some darkening of the lips after application. The review highlights the product's poor performance on dry, chapped lips and its tendency to settle into fine lines. The lack of lasting power and staining is emphasized, along with the need for frequent reapplication. The reviewer also notes an undesirable darkening effect on the lips after use. Overall, the tone suggests disappointment with the product's effectiveness and wear. - tj***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
The color is absolutely gorgeous, looks natural, and feels moisturizing. It applies beautifully and complements my warm-toned complexion perfectly. However, the staying power isn't particularly strong, so it's best to reapply every couple of hours. While it feels hydrating when first applied, my extremely dry skin tends to get parched again, causing dead skin cells to appear. When that happens, I need to layer on some lip balm. - rh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2024
Despite being a wine color, it's not too red or dark, making it perfect for daily wear. It's also great for creating a gradient effect when applied as a two-tone lip, especially when applied to the inner part of the lips! Personally, I used it without any particular disappointments! - co*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 14, 2022
I absolutely love the color! More importantly, it's so moisturizing for my dry lips. I don't even need to apply anything else - this alone keeps my lips feeling hydrated! I haven't had the chance to use it many times yet, but so far I haven't found anything particularly disappointing. If I notice any drawbacks after using it more, I'll update my review! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2021
It's nice and plump, looks pretty, and when dead skin cells flake, the lipstick settles into the cracks, making it long-lasting and decent. The biggest issue, as always, is that it tends to transfer onto masks or doesn't provide full coverage. - ye*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsAug 14, 2021
A moisturizing lip product recommended for winter cool tones I received this as a gift... It's a bit too deep for me, so I don't reach for it often. I recommend this color for those with winter cool undertones! It's a bit greasy.. transfers onto masks.. and the color deepens over time, which is a drawback.. Only those with deep undertones in the winter cool spectrum can pull this off.. Summer cool tones with deep undertones should opt for other prettier products - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2021
As someone with cool undertones, this shade is perfectly wine-colored, true to its name. The fragrance is, how should I put it, genuinely reminiscent of grape wine. It applies smoothly, adds a lovely sheen to the lips, and overall seems like an excellent product. While using it, I didn't find any particular drawbacks. If I had to mention one thing, it's that my lips feel slightly warm when applied. I don't have a blush, so I use this as a blush too. And it creates such a beautiful color on the cheeks. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2020
It absorbs so smoothly that you can apply it effortlessly without a mirror and still achieve a beautiful finish! I think the staining effect is even prettier. I bought it because the name was 'wine', but it's not really wine-colored. It has more of an orange-wine tint, which makes it a bit warm-toned, so I didn't like it much. The staining effect is a nice pink-purple though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2020
It's moisturizing and would look absolutely gorgeous on warm-toned skin. I bought it because the swatch on my wrist looked similar to YSL's Carmin Session. As someone with cool-toned skin, I love this color, but when I apply it to my lips, it makes me look about 10 years older. I envy those who can pull off this shade and exude a delicate, feminine charm. It's completely different from Carmin Session in both color and how it appears on the skin. Since it doesn't suit me, I'm planning to give it to my mom. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2020
As the name suggests, it's a deep red color reminiscent of wine. I bought it thinking it would be perfect for bold makeup looks. As expected, it applies smoothly with a moisturizing and plump feel. The thin, elongated tip makes it easy to apply precisely. I really wish there was more product. It's so hydrating that it wears off quickly.
