Not sure if they only give out one per person, but anyway, I've done my best to analyze it thoroughly. Product Effectiveness: 3/5 It's labeled as a serum toner, but it feels more like it was designed as a mist. Still, it seems they've made an effort to remove harmful ingredients, considering skin health. They've used actual flowers instead of extracts, though I'm not sure which is better. There's not enough data on how many flowers were used to compare the two methods. When shaken, tiny bubbles form like carbonation, making the flowers float. The color has been gradually fading since I first received it, likely due to the flower petals releasing their pigment. The floating petals do create a lovely ambiance. Appearance: 5/5 I was quite surprised when I first received it. It's made of glass, which makes it quite heavy. But thinking that this choice might be for eco-friendliness or to avoid plastic's harmful effects on the skin, I can bear the weight with a happy heart. The mist sprays in a fine, even layer. It's impressive to see such good dispersion from a push-type bottle. Scent: 3/5 This aspect might be divisive. When I first sprayed it, I wasn't sure what the scent was. I expected a strong chrysanthemum fragrance, but surprisingly, the lemon tea tree scent is much more prominent. Those who enjoy strong fragrances might like this. I think many people are mistaking this lemon scent for chrysanthemum! I'm curious about their rose serum version.
ConsFor context, I have extremely sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to redness, with oily T-zone and enlarged pores. Product Effectiveness: 3/5 For a product supposedly made with skin-friendly ingredients, it was quite irritating. When sprayed, there's a slight burning sensation and an alcohol-like feel. It seems to contain many potentially allergenic fragrances, as my skin quickly turned red. It also became itchy, though not severely. This might work well for those with more resilient skin. For my skin, I suspect the lemon oil and ylang-ylang flower oil were too harsh. My skin was particularly dry when I tried this, hoping it might help, but I didn't see much improvement. It created a warming sensation and left my skin feeling dry, which was disappointing. It's too irritating for my face, so I've been using it on my arms and legs, where it seems to provide some hydration. Appearance: 5/5 The appearance is perfect if considered as a mist, but I'd deduct a point if it's meant to be used as a toner. The glass bottle is beautiful. Scent: 3/5 As someone who doesn't enjoy strong fragrances, this feels almost like a perfume to me. Fortunately, the scent doesn't linger too long. It's dominated by a lemon scent rather than the expected chrysanthemum fragrance, which is confusing for a product marketed as a chrysanthemum serum.
TipGiven how drying it is, it's better to think of this as a mist rather than a toner. Unfortunately, if I had to pay for this, I think it's overpriced for what it offers. Personally, I prefer products with visible, functional benefits, so I probably wouldn't purchase this. However, it might work well for others, so I'd still recommend giving it a try if you're interested.
