It's a hybrid sunscreen, not a mineral one, so it applies smoothly. I decided to give it a try since it's sold at dermatology clinics. The hybrid sunscreen with organic filters doesn't agree with my skin. Even though mineral sunscreens also irritate my dry skin in winter, I thought I'd try this one since it's a dermatological product. There's a slight itching sensation (but honestly, for someone like me with a compromised skin barrier, atopic dermatitis, acne, and dry skin, it's best not to use sunscreen at all... I wish I didn't have to, but my skin is thin and prone to dark spots, so I can't skip it). Eventually, the itching got worse, and I developed a bumpy allergic reaction, so I immediately took medication and stopped using it. It's important to use products with ingredients that suit your skin... There's no need to try new things. For a product sold at dermatology clinics, the ingredients aren't particularly gentle. - ch**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2020
The gel texture feels cool and smooth on the skin. It has a great balance - not sticky or dry at all. It's hydrating without being greasy. As someone with sensitive, allergy-prone skin who's tried over 50 sunscreens, I've finally settled on this one. Even my friend with atopic dermatitis finds this suitable. It's a bit disappointing that the formula slightly separates in the peak of summer. However, it doesn't affect the overall usability. For a beautiful skin finish, try mixing this sunscreen with a regenerating cream or a brightening moisturizer. The result is stunning.
