I started using it from the spring when fine dust was blowing, even before COVID-19, and it has become my holy grail product. The ingredients are so gentle and slightly acidic, yet it cleans away fine dust or mask residue incredibly well and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I used to get irritated by oil cleansers as they would often cause breakouts, but this product has actually helped clear up my stubborn blemishes. Since I'm quite lazy, I just use this to cleanse my face after work, and my skin feels so soft and supple - it's practically honey-like. Comparing my skin when it was in poor condition to now after continuous use, the texture has noticeably improved. I highly recommend this product. Please keep selling my holy grail item...๐๐ป๐๐ป
ConsThere's really nothing bad to say. It's been changed to a tube format, which is more hygienic and seems improved. However, the previous formula was a bit clearer and had a pudding-like texture, which I think I preferred a bit more.
TipWhen I'm too tired and lazy to do a full cleansing routine, this is the perfect solution. Just this one product can thoroughly yet gently remove my makeup and leave my skin feeling refreshed.

Usage I used it by creating lather, and it cleaned gently and effectively. Continuing to rub it, the impurities were well cleansed, which was great. Cleansing Power On the first use, sunscreen or oil was not removed completely, but it was perfect for the second use. Ingredients Even though I have acne-prone skin, the ingredients were good, and I did not experience any breakouts.
ConsThe lather was not as rich as I would have liked, and the price is a bit high, but other than that, it's fine.
TipUsing a cleansing brush can help create more lather.

It's a typical combination skin type - oily on the surface but dry and tight underneath. I'm very particular about my cleansers and I applied to the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program because I really like the Pure-Me formula. It has a runny, toothpaste-like texture. It's dense and has almost no fragrance. It doesn't produce a lot of lather, but after cleansing, I feel like my makeup residue and impurities are thoroughly washed away (even the cotton pads are clean). A small amount is enough to cleanse, so it will last a long time. I only use mild, slightly acidic cleansers, and I really love the Pure-Me one.
ConsIt's best to avoid storing it in the shower enclosure. When showering, a lot of water splashes around, so water tends to collect on the lid. This can sometimes happen with toothpaste as well. If too much water gets in, it can make the formula runny, like water.
TipSince it doesn't have a lot of foaming agents, the lather isn't very abundant. So I do my cleansing in two steps - first I use a small amount, and for the second cleanse, the lather is nice and rich. The photo shows the lather from the second cleansing step.

ConsTo be honest, as this was a Hwahae Trial Reviewer product, I really tried hard to use it and write about it. However, due to skin trouble issues, I had to discontinue using the product. When I first started using it, my face felt a bit stinging and irritated. But when I woke up the next morning, my T-zone areas like the chin, nose, and cheeks were in chaos, with enlarged pores and excessive sebum. I thought it was just an initial reaction, so I continued using it diligently for about 3 days. But the trouble on my cheek area was just too much, so I had to stop using the product. I would recommend that those with sensitive skin carefully check the ingredients before using this product. As for me, I'm disappointed that I couldn't continue using it.

As I've gotten older, I've found that my skin often feels tight and dry after cleansing, so I've been looking for a cleanser that leaves my skin feeling refreshed without any tightness. This product has a soft, lathering texture that rinses off easily. It doesn't leave behind the slippery residue that some moisturizing cleansers do, so my skin feels clean and comfortable. There's also very little tightness after using it. The product description boasts about its moisturizing properties, and I'd say that claim is justified. The fragrance is subtle and not at all irritating (similar to the green bean foam cleanser I used to use).
ConsThe tube packaging makes it a bit tricky to dispense the product, as the formula is on the runny side. The cap also requires several twists to open, and when you first open it, the product tends to come out quickly.

The texture is dense and creamy like whipped cream when lathered, with a silky smooth feel. It lathers well even without water, which is quite convenient. After using it, I felt that my skin's exfoliation was improved when I followed up with an AHA product. Likely due to the acidic nature. I recommend this product to those looking for a skincare product that hydrates without drying the skin. By the way, the packaging is so neat and pretty! I've included a photo as well.
ConsDue to the acidic nature, it has a slightly astringent feel. Those sensitive to this may want to take note. Also, while the scent is not overpowering, there is a mild basic soap-like fragrance. It's reminiscent of the raw ingredients.

It doesn't linger after cleansing. The fragrance is strong enough that it occasionally causes sneezing, but the subtle scent was pleasant to use. The overall cleansing power was able to thoroughly remove color cosmetics and sunscreen, except for those. There was no residue when wiping with a toner after cleansing. My skin became dry and oily in the winter due to wearing masks, and it turned into a severely dehydrated skin type. After using the product for 8 days, the dehydration feeling has decreased a bit, and my dead skin and blackheads have reduced. If you work up a rich lather and massage it into your face, you'll get a velvety feel. Massaging the blackhead-prone areas on the nose and around the mouth helped visibly reduce blackheads and whiteheads after cleansing. The blackheads reappear in the afternoon, but I hope they'll gradually diminish. Overall: It had a soft, velvety feel as the name suggests, but it didn't necessarily have to have a strong velvety texture. It was a suitable product for daily morning and evening cleansing. After cleansing, the moisturized feel was much better than the squeaky-clean feel. There are many products that claim to be moisturizing but don't actually cleanse thoroughly, but this one cleansed well while leaving a moisturized feel. It's excellent at removing blemishes, dead skin, and dirt, but it may struggle to thoroughly remove heavy makeup.
ConsTo achieve the velvety texture as advertised, you have to wet your face, dry your hands, work up a lather, and apply it to your face. I just used it as is. The lather wasn't as velvety, but it was still sufficient. This product has a twist-open cap, so it won't get water in it during showers, but sometimes the cap falls off when you're squeezing it and closing it back up.
TipYou should squeeze out a generous amount. It's not a product that produces a rich, fluffy lather, but rather a fine, dense lather. Massage it into your face thoroughly!

The usage experience was light and soft, similar to using a powdered enzyme cleanser that has been foamed up. This allowed it to rinse off my skin gently without much irritation. Additionally, the foam lathers up well with just a small amount, so I didn't need to use a lot to cleanse effectively.
ConsMy skin is prone to acne and extremely oily, but it becomes quite dry during the fall and winter due to frequent laser treatments. Compared to other cleansers, this one left my skin feeling less moisturized after rinsing, which was a bit disappointing. The packaging is also a bit inconvenient to use. Typically, I would wet my hands, dispense the cleanser, and then close the lid again, but the twist-open lid makes this process a bit more cumbersome. A pump dispenser or a snap-open lid would be more user-friendly.
TipOn days when I only have light makeup on, I can get by with just using this product for my primary cleansing step, without needing a cleansing water or oil.
