I've been using this product for over a decade since 2018. I started using it from the spring when fine dust was blowing, even before COVID-19, and it has become my holy grail product. The ingredients are so gentle and slightly acidic, yet it cleans away fine dust or mask residue incredibly well and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I used to get irritated by oil cleansers as they would often cause breakouts, but this product has actually helped clear up my stubborn blemishes. Since I'm quite lazy, I just use this to cleanse my face after work, and my skin feels so soft and supple - it's practically honey-like. I've always had a sensitive, flushed, and seborrheic skin type due to my job that requires wearing masks. I'm very careful about the ingredients I use, as products with aloe, mugwort, and tea tree tend to cause breakouts for me. Luckily, I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and after using the product for a week, I didn't experience any major breakouts, even on days when my skin was more problematic. The mildly acidic formula didn't seem to overstress my skin either, which I'm quite satisfied with👏 However, since I use sunscreen daily, I was worried about the cleansing power of this product alone, so I used it as a secondary cleanser, both in the morning and evening. While it didn't cause any issues for my skin and didn't make it worse, the price point is a bit steep for me to purchase with my own money on a regular basis😭

In a nutshell, it's a mild acidic cleansing foam with good ingredients. Ingredients. I could really feel that the ingredients are good. Even with my extremely sensitive skin, nothing broke out. Lather. Mild acidic cleansing foams usually don't lather well, but this one is clearly well-lathered and lathers nicely. After cleansing. After cleansing, there's no lingering 'slippery' feeling typical of mild acidic cleansing foams. It leaves a refreshed and clean feeling (so it may actually suit oily skin better than expected). Moisturizing. However, it doesn't mean it doesn't suit dry skin. After cleansing, it feels moisturizing and cooling. Is there a cooling effect? Mild acidity. Mild acidic cleansing foams are trending these days, which is good. They say using mild acidic products helps maintain the skin barrier and manage dead skin cells, so I recommend this mild acidic cleansing foam!

First of all, I have very sensitive skin, so I only use mild products. I use the Round & Round Green Tea Mild Cleansing Foam that I've been using! This cleansing foam lathers well and has great cleansing power! Even after washing, my skin remains moisturized. It seems gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without causing any irritation.
Cons
The scent might be a bit divisive for some,,,! Other than that, there wasn't really anything disappointing!!

I thought the product name 'Velvet' would mean it would be thick, but it was a bit on the runny side~ When I opened it, the packaging was simple and pretty. It's not thick and the foam lathers well, with a soft texture! After cleansing, it doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry and parched, but rather comfortably moisturized with a slightly acidic pH. I'd say it has a refreshing, almost minty scent (though that might be divisive).

As a person with sensitive skin, I feel that my skin is soothed and not irritated or tight after cleansing. It doesn't become red or itchy, which is great. Definitely, as a mild acidic cleanser, it doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry after cleansing, and it leaves my skin very moisturized. If you have dry skin, I highly recommend this product. The scent is a subtle floral fragrance that is not overpowering or irritating, which I like.

Thorough Cleansing Sometimes, when using mildly acidic cleansers, my skin feels like it's been cleansed, but not quite. I tend to prefer dense, bubbly textures, so I often use a bubble maker or a mousse-type cleansing foam. However, mild acidic cleansers don't produce as much lather when using a bubble maker, which is a bit disappointing. But this product, while not extremely bubbly, still generates a dense lather (even without a bubble maker)! As the name 'Velvet Cleanser' suggests, it is incredibly soft and gentle. I didn't have high expectations for the cleansing power, but it was able to gently remove the eyeliner I had drawn on the back of my hand.
