I was so curious about trying a stick cleanser for the first time! After doing an initial cleanse with oil to remove makeup, I followed the instructions and applied the stick to my damp face, gently massaging it in circular motions. Then I worked up a lather and rinsed it off with water - so simple! I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient it was and how effectively it cleansed my skin. But what really amazed me was how hydrated my skin felt afterwards! There was absolutely no deep dryness, and it even seemed to exfoliate dead skin cells. My skin felt as smooth as if I'd used an exfoliating gel - I knew I'd found a winner! While I usually avoid frequent exfoliation, especially in winter, to prevent irritation, I found I could use this daily without any blemishes or sensitivity. As someone with dry skin, it worked wonderfully for me, but I think it would suit all skin types. Even those with super sensitive skin should find it gentle due to its good ingredients and non-irritating formula. It's also travel-friendly, making it perfect for trips! The only slight downside is having to be mindful about keeping it clean after use. I rinse it off, let it dry, then close the cap before storing it. - f3**Dry SkinAtopic SkinDec 31, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

This product feels like a natural soap made into a stick form. It's much closer to a natural soap than a cleansing foam! I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause much irritation, so I didn't experience any blemishes!! For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend following the instructions to lather it in your hands and cleanse, rather than rubbing the stick directly on your face! Being a natural soap and a slightly acidic product, it has limitations in removing makeup, making it more suitable as a second-step cleanser. It's in stick form, but I'm curious if there are any issues with bacterial growth or other problems if you close the lid while the soap is still wet. It seems a bit large for travel purposes - I wish it were smaller. I think it works well if you use a bubble maker to create a richer lather. Since the soap might be a bit rough if applied directly to the face and could cause irritation, I preferred to create the lather separately before using it! - qp*******Dry SkinDec 31, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

With fewer outings due to COVID, I've been wearing less makeup, which made cleansing a bit of a dilemma. Using a cleansing foam felt too harsh on my dry skin, but not using anything left me feeling like residual skincare products and overnight secretions weren't being washed away properly. This product seems to be the perfect solution for that. Packaging: The design is incredibly sleek. The white, semi-transparent case looks luxurious, and the stick format is very convenient to use. Scent: The rose fragrance isn't overpowering. It's somewhat refreshing, but more soapy than expected. Especially when applied to the face... it's a bit like laundry soap, unfortunately. Experience: It melts very smoothly when applied to the face, which feels nice. I was satisfied with how it cleanses thoroughly without feeling particularly drying. There's something I really want to mention... I accidentally dropped it very lightly in the sink, and now the stick won't come out. Since you can't use it at all unless you twist it up, it seems the durability is quite poor. Especially when washing, hands can be slippery, and even with just a tiny drop, it stopped working. I ended up throwing it away after only a few uses. For those using it, please be extremely careful not to drop it at all. I think this aspect really needs to be improved. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The stick format is super convenient, and it lathers up so well, making cleansing a breeze! My skin had been acting up lately from wearing makeup under a mask, with blemishes popping up one after another. But thanks to its low pH, I could cleanse without irritating my skin! When applying the stick directly on areas with blemishes, it can be a bit painful due to its solid form. Sometimes I'd lather it up in my hands instead. If you rub it on a foam net, you'll get an amazing lather! It's also great to use by applying it to your hands first. - po******Dry SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The cleanser felt incredibly moisturizing and gentle! It was so hydrating that I wondered if it was actually cleansing, but after rinsing, my skin felt both moisturized and refreshingly clean. The texture is much softer than soap. The scent is mild and pleasant, so I had no issues with it. I've been using it every morning since I received it, and I haven't experienced any blemishes - it's been working great for me! There's not much space between the container and the lid, so it's a bit inconvenient to have to twist the product all the way down into the container. I wish there was a bit more room between the container and the lid. At first, I rubbed it directly on my face to cleanse, but I found it works better to lather it in my hands first and then apply the foam to my face. - me*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

After washing, I didn't feel any tightness, and it gave me the impression that it rinses off well. I think the container might be a bit too large. While the wide application surface is nice, it's inconvenient to use due to its size. I wish they'd make it shorter or smaller. The flower inside makes it pretty, but when smelling it, I recognize the scent from my DIY experiences, while my mother says it smells a bit like old oil. I think that's because there are no artificial fragrances. It's probably not suitable as a first cleanse for makeup removal. Since makeup residue gets on the cleanser, you need to rinse it a bit before and after use. Since I wear light makeup, I first lather it up in my hands and use it for an initial cleanse. Then for the second cleanse, I apply it directly to my face and massage it in, which seems to work well. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As the weather's getting colder and our skin tends to get drier, I found some great things about this cleanser. First off, it cleanses thoroughly, leaving your skin feeling fresh. What's more, it leaves your skin feeling nicely hydrated after washing. It's not too big, making it perfect for travel. The stick format is super convenient - just wet your face, swipe it on a few times, and you're good to go. I even tried it on my 9 and 7-year-old kids, and thanks to its natural, gentle ingredients, it cleansed their skin without any irritation. The kids found it pretty cool too! They've been using it every time they wash their face now. The downside is that it didn't quite agree with my super sensitive skin. At first, I only got a few small blemishes, but as I continued using it, more started to appear. So, I've had to stop using it, unfortunately. On the surface, my skin looked good, but I have the type of sensitive skin that reacts quickly to products that don't suit it. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it's a bad product though. The cleanser itself is good - my kids are using it without any issues. Even if I can't use it, I'm happy that it works well for my children. If you're looking for a pro tip, you might be concerned about hygiene with the stick format. What I do is wipe around the stick with a cotton pad after each use before storing it. I'm not sure if this is the best method, but I figure it's better than leaving it untouched. - yh*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The review is completely unbiased and honest, with no guidelines or restrictions. Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.First off, my skin type is oily with lots of blackheads and large pores. I also get the occasional pimple. However, my skin is dehydrated, so I often feel tightness on my face. The packaging is pretty and surprisingly large! It seems like it would be convenient to carry around. As soon as you open the lid, you're greeted with a fragrant scent and a slightly tangy smell reminiscent of vitamins! The scent seems to have good staying power, remaining strong for two weeks. I applied it to my damp face and massaged it in with my hands. Otherwise, it doesn't lather well and feels like you're just rubbing soap on your face. It's funny because there's a lot of soap on your face, but it doesn't foam up well if your face isn't wet enough. Also, when rinsing, light foam keeps forming, which makes rinsing take a bit longer! I have oily skin and my sister has dry skin, and we both felt it was very gentle and less drying. I haven't tried other low pH foam cleansers, so it's hard to compare, but I can definitely feel how gentle it is. Therefore, I think it's great for morning cleansing! The cleansing effectiveness is average. It's not bad, but it's milder than products labeled as 'deep cleansing'. It might be good as a second cleanser, but considering its gentleness, I think it's best suited for morning cleansing or removing light makeup. To be honest, I don't see much benefit in the stick format. While it's satisfying to have a pretty container and being able to rub it directly on your face is fun, it actually takes more effort than just squeezing and applying. I think I heard that the flower petals help with exfoliation, but that's not the case at all. You might feel them slightly at first, but they're not enough to provide any real exfoliation, and after a few uses, the petals disappear completely. - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When I initially tried it, I wasn't sure how much to use, so I rubbed it on my face twice. To my surprise, it lathered up quite nicely. Even more foam appeared when I added water, which was a pleasant shock. Many other cleansing foams don't lather well, but this one, despite being mildly acidic with a pH of 5, produces a rich lather with minimal effort - definitely a plus. What really amazed me was how incredibly hydrated my skin felt right after rinsing. The level of hydration was so unexpected that I actually washed a few more times to be sure. It became clear that this wasn't a residue feeling, but rather my skin becoming genuinely smooth and supple. Even while drying with a towel, I was in awe. This foam cleanser felt like a game-changer to me. You often hear ads claiming a cleanser is 'hydrating,' but now I truly understand what that means - this product is the real deal. The accompanying pamphlet, detailing the brand's introduction, philosophy, and product range, really resonated with me. It made me want to try their other products too. They included a few samples, which I'll test to see if they suit my skin. I'm grateful to The Hwahae Testers for introducing me to this eco-friendly brand. Using it firsthand has only increased my trust in the product. The rose scent isn't particularly strong - it's more like a sugary candy smell? While I appreciate that it's not an artificial floral scent (they claim to use no artificial fragrances or colors), it's not exactly a pleasant aroma either. Fortunately, the scent isn't overpowering when applied to the face, so it's not a deal-breaker. After using it for over a week, I've realized it doesn't suit my sensitive skin. Large, red blemishes started appearing, forcing me to stop using it. I was so excited thinking I'd found a product that worked for me, but sadly, it took a week to realize it wasn't compatible. I had to switch back to my previous product. While I'm glad to have discovered what seems like a good brand, it's really disappointing that it didn't work out for me. This was my first time using a stick cleanser, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be quite convenient. It feels like it takes some of the effort out of cleansing. Unlike products you have to squeeze out and lather up, with this you just glide it over your face a few times and you're done - it's so easy! I think it would be especially useful for travel. While it's not tiny, its shape and size make it perfect for slipping into a toiletry bag. - 0o*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 30, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I used to worry about liquid cleansers leaking during trips or business travel, but with this, I can take it anywhere without fear of spills or leaks. - It's wonderfully hydrating. After using foam cleansers, my face would always feel tight, and I'd desperately reach for toner or serum right away. With this product, there's much less of that deep dryness feeling. - Excellent cleansing effectiveness. I tried removing MAC Lady Danger lipstick with it. While it needed a bit of rubbing, it came off cleanly. It's not primarily meant for removing point makeup, but it's perfect for these mask-wearing days when you're just wearing light sunscreen or brow makeup - convenient for removing it all in one go. - Hygiene concerns. After removing lipstick once, I noticed some red color staining around the edges. This is an unavoidable downside of stick-type products, but it's worrying if you're sharing it with family members. - The scent. It's supposed to be rose-scented, but I'm not sure if it really smells like roses? It's not the typical artificial rose scent people think of, but more like crushed rose leaves mixed with something like lemongrass and a soapy base note. This could be a pro or a con depending on your preference. - The texture? It's like soap with bits of rose embedded in it. When you rub it on your face, it lathers up nicely. If you prefer rich foam, you might want to work up a lather separately with your hands. - It's sufficient for cleansing on days when you've only used sunscreen or brightening moisturizer! - Using a foam net can create an even richer lather. - After use, it's a good idea to rinse it once with water before storing.
