Here's my honest review of the Sidmool Cleansing Milk that I purchased with my own money! I have combination dehydrated skin with excess oil and sebum production in my T-zone and chin. It's decreased a bit with age, but it's still quite oily, unfortunately. I heard somewhere that using cleansing milk daily can help improve skin texture and reduce small bumps, so I decided to give it a try! Texture: The texture is a white, fluid consistency - exactly what you'd expect from a cleansing milk! Scent: It's fragrance-free, which I love! As someone with super sensitive skin, I often experience irritation from products with added fragrances. But true to Sidmool's reputation, there was absolutely no irritation. This might be a matter of personal preference, but for me, it's a huge plus! Application: Being a milk cleanser, it doesn't feel as slippery as an oil cleanser and doesn't leave any residue, making it perfect for daily use. It seems to emulsify well too. Definitely an everyday-friendly product! Since it's not an oil, even if a bit gets in your eyes while cleansing, it doesn't sting or leave that uncomfortable, filmy feeling. I found it very comfortable to use. Cleansing Effectiveness: The cleansing power is admittedly less than an oil cleanser. You'll definitely need to double cleanse if you're wearing makeup. For daily use without makeup, it's sufficient on its own! However, after using it consistently for over a year, I noticed some issues with daily use. I initially went through the smaller size quickly and repurchased the larger bottle. But I found that using it every day actually weakened my skin barrier, leading to more frequent breakouts of small bumps. These days, I only use it to remove makeup and avoid using it daily. That being said, considering its value for money and gentle ingredients that work well even for sensitive skin, plus its decent cleansing power, I'd still recommend this to anyone looking for a mild cleansing milk! There weren't any significant downsides. In fact, I'd recommend it as a gentle product! I'd suggest buying the smaller size and using it up quickly before switching to something else! - h0****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2025
Sidmool is a brand you can trust! If you're looking for a milk cleanser, go for Sidmool without hesitation. It's such a famous product that you probably already know about it, but I have to say it really removes makeup gently. I don't feel like it removes heavy makeup completely, so I always follow up with a second cleanse! For those with super sensitive skin, this cleanser works hard to provide a gentle cleansing experience. It's great for maintaining your skin's oil and moisture balance without causing irritation. However, if you wear long-lasting or waterproof makeup, you might want to use it as part of a double cleansing routine for the best results. - na***Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 24, 2025
It's incredibly gentle, yet removes makeup quite effectively, so I use it as an oil cleanser alternative. I remove eye makeup with a separate remover, then use this cleansing milk followed by a foam cleanser. It doesn't irritate my eyes, rolls off beautifully, and cleanses well, which is why I'm on my third large bottle. I've heard that for those with small bumps or peach fuzz, a milk cleanser is better than an oil. Highly recommended! The only downside is that it's not widely available in many stores. For best results, I've found that pumping twice, massaging it all over, then adding a bit of water to emulsify before rinsing works wonderfully. - aa****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessJun 22, 2025
Wow, I tried using a cleansing milk to improve my skin, but it caused a blemish explosion! I normally don't get acne on my cheeks, but I was shocked to see over ten pimples appear in just one day... It also doesn't remove sunscreen very well. This cleansing milk seems to have caused a severe breakout, especially in areas where I don't usually experience acne. It's not only ineffective at removing sunscreen but also seems to be triggering blemishes. For those with sensitive or acne-prone skin, it might be best to approach this product with caution. - th*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedJun 21, 2025
I usually stock up on this from the Sidmool official website! I'm really satisfied because even just one cleanse with Sidmool Cleansing Milk is enough to thoroughly remove my inorganic sunscreen. It's so gentle on my skin! There are no downsides! Just make sure to emulsify thoroughly! Absolutely no complaints! Pro tip: Check in on Sidmool's official website every month - they give out a 5,000 won discount coupon. That's the perfect time to stock up! - le*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
I've been using this for about a month since my skin went haywire. Originally, I had combination skin, but now it's oily and prone to blemishes. This cleanser is gentle and doesn't cause any irritation when I use it. It cleanses thoroughly, leaving my skin feeling clean. While it's not super squeaky clean, it leaves a more hydrated feeling. I personally follow up with a second cleanse to get that super clean finish. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. Given its great ingredients, the price point is good. This cleanser seems to be a great option for those dealing with sensitive or troubled skin. It's gentle enough for daily use and effective at removing impurities without stripping the skin. The hydrating effect is a plus, especially for those who struggle with dryness after cleansing. For those who prefer a squeaky clean feeling, a double cleanse method works well with this product. Overall, it appears to offer good value for money considering its quality ingredients and performance. - k0**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2025
This works well when you need some gentle sebum control. It's great for those times when your skin needs a bit of oil management. I didn't really notice any major drawbacks. However, overusing it might lead to dryness and could potentially damage your skin if you're not careful. Remember, moderation is key with any skincare product. While this one helps with oil control, it's important to maintain your skin's natural oil and moisture balance. If you have combination dehydrated skin or are prone to deep dryness, you might want to follow up with a hydrating product to prevent any potential dryness. - rk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 19, 2025
Affordable and gentle, I highly recommend this cleansing milk for those trying it for the first time. It's a great introduction to the world of cleansing milks! With daily use, I found myself running out quickly. It would be great if they offered a larger size option. This cleansing milk is perfect for those with sensitive skin or those new to skincare routines. Its mild formula effectively removes makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. The texture is smooth and absorbs well, leaving your complexion feeling clean and refreshed. While the current size is convenient for travel, a larger bottle would be ideal for those who use it as part of their daily skincare regimen. Despite its gentle nature, it still manages to cleanse effectively, making it a great choice for all skin types, especially those prone to irritation or blemishes. - gv***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 19, 2025
As someone with acne-prone, oily skin, this is my go-to first cleanser on days I wear sunscreen and makeup. While double cleansing is a must, I've never experienced any blemishes since using this product. Being a cleansing milk, it's incredibly gentle and doesn't cause any irritation. The milk-like texture is slightly thicker than water, which can make it hard to tell if you're removing all your makeup. Even after rinsing, there's a slight feeling that some makeup residue remains. That's why a second cleanse is absolutely necessary. However, there's a noticeable difference between using this milk cleanser as a first step and not using it at all. I use this cleansing milk on most days when I wear makeup, but occasionally, when I feel like my pores are clogged with excess sebum, I switch to Sidmool's oil cleanser. For my second cleanse, I've recently started using Sidmool's sulfur soap, and I'm really liking it! - ck******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 18, 2025
Excellent cleansing power Leaves skin hydrated without tightness after cleansing Worth buying when on sale No major drawbacks Would consider purchasing if a larger size was available
