1. It feels refreshingly cool without any stickiness. You can apply it before makeup in the morning without feeling weighed down! 2. I've been stressing about skin blemishes every day since March, probably due to wearing masks. But since using this toner, my acne has noticeably reduced in size! The affected areas have also shrunk. 3. The scent is lovely! It's a hit for fragrance lovers. The cool mint aroma makes you feel like your skin is improving. There's just one disappointing aspect: I haven't noticed any improvement in wrinkles yet. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2020
It has a water-like texture and definitely leaves the skin feeling more refreshed compared to other exfoliating toners. It seems particularly suitable for oily skin types. The only downside I can think of is the small volume. While it claims to have anti-wrinkle and brightening effects, it's probably unrealistic to expect significant results from a toner alone. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2020
Here's my review after using half the bottle: It has a watery texture. I love the sweet and refreshing scent, which I think is thanks to the tea tree. Despite containing exfoliating ingredients and tea tree extract, it's not particularly irritating! I believe it would be suitable for all skin types. Although it contains brightening and anti-wrinkle ingredients, I didn't notice any dramatic effects. I didn't see significant results in terms of removing dead skin cells or excess sebum. I didn't experience any blemishes. Despite the exfoliating ingredients and tea tree, I didn't notice much effect on calming blemishes. To be fair, my skin doesn't typically respond well to these ingredients. Due to the tea tree and gentle exfoliating ingredients, it seems to effectively remove impurities when used as a quick cleanse when you're in a hurry or tired. If I notice any changes after finishing the entire bottle, I'll update my review! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2020
Here's my review after using Hwahae's product for 2 weeks since winning it! I have combination dehydrated skin + super sensitive skin + extremely oily + large pores and numerous blackheads. Scent: A rather strong mint fragrance It's quite intense, and you really notice the scent when you first use it! It has a very refreshing aroma! Texture: It's completely water-based, so I used it by soaking a cotton pad and wiping my face after cleansing Irritation: Even though it's an AHA/BHA product, I expected some irritation, but there was none at all. I'm the boss of sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any reactions Pros: I felt it effectively removed dead skin cells without irritation. (The flaking around my nose area disappeared.) After frequent use, I noticed a glow when looking in the mirror after cleansing. Since it's an AHA/BHA product, I thought it would help improve blackheads, but I didn't see as much effect on blackheads as I expected. It claims to have whitening and anti-wrinkle effects, but I'm not sure about that. If you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to think twice because the scent is quite strong! Apply it to a cotton pad for exfoliation and wipe your face after cleansing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. The peppermint scent is quite pleasant. It's effective for chemical exfoliation of dead skin cells and soothing blemishes. These features are quite appealing. You can feel the immediate effects on dead skin cells and blemishes. To be honest, I'm not sure about much else... (It's probably not something I'd buy with my own money, at least for my skin type). It also has a slight effect on evening out the complexion. Not recommended if you dislike minty scents. Also not recommended for those with super sensitive skin (it can occasionally cause a tingling sensation). While it claims to brighten and improve wrinkles, I don't expect much from a toner in that regard. As for its effectiveness... I'd need to use it consistently to know, but I'm not really sure. It's not for daily use. As mentioned earlier, it can be tingling, so I only used it every other day and for evening care. Unless you use it according to your exfoliation schedule, it doesn't live up to its name... I believe that for this toner, using a cotton pad is not just an option, but a necessity. Due to its chemical exfoliating ingredients, you need to apply it with a cotton pad to see its effects. When I had a blemish appear, I would place a soaked cotton pad on that area for about 2 minutes. Since it's acidic, leaving it on for too long might be counterproductive. You can feel the blemish shrinking - perhaps thanks to the tea tree ingredient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2020
As soon as you open it, there's a refreshing peppermint candy scent! Usually, I'm too lazy and only use toner, but with other products, I'd notice dry white patches after a while. With this product alone, though I apply it at night before bed, by morning my skin isn't exactly dewy, but it's definitely not dry. It's not bad at all. I'd say it's a solid, easy-to-use option. The product dispenses a bit too generously, occasionally causing spills. You need to pay attention to control the amount. If you're not careful and flip it upside down, there's a risk it might gush out. It claims to help with skin brightening and wrinkle improvement, but I haven't used it long enough to confirm those benefits yet.
