The luxurious color and formula absorb beautifully, creating a soft, dreamy look that blends seamlessly with your lips and skin. With masks on, I guess it's fine as long as it doesn't transfer, but I can't help feeling like something's missing. - tp*******Combination SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2020
This would pair beautifully with lip balm! I applied it lightly as a base, and it looked so natural. The texture makes me curious about the other shades too. It has a delightful coconut vanilla scent wafting through, which I already loved, so that was another plus for me. For me, the color was neither here nor there, so I'll need to think about it a bit more. - pr*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 15, 2020
It glides on the lips so smoothly! I applied it without exfoliating first, and while there was a slight emphasis on dead skin cells (which was unavoidable), it truly applies as smoothly as velvet. Personally, I consider the application to be crucial for velvet/semi-matte tints, and this product is genuinely praiseworthy in that aspect. Even with just a light application, the color payoff is great! The shade I used had less of a coral tone than I expected. It's more of a subdued salmon color. My biggest gripe is the scent. It has this artificial fragrance that I don't like... how should I describe it? A strange chocolate scent? That was a bit off-putting. However, once it's applied, I don't really notice it anymore. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
It feels like a brownie with a drop of orange from Mullet Over. It's vintage, like a dried sunset... perfect as a warm base lip for fall. Even though I have a cool undertone, I'm using it well. It pairs nicely with a cool pink-red tint on the inner lips. My lips are naturally quite red, so when I apply this alone, it's like an MLBB that increases saturation. Interestingly, after a few minutes, it turns golden brown like toasted bread. That's why the formula feels special even when worn alone. It also works well with saturated orange or pink-red tints, but I found it looks sophisticated just by itself with some blush and eye makeup. The color is perfect for autumn, and the formula is ideal for overlining. It's also long-lasting. While 3CE feels like applying oil and has intense pigmentation from the start, this product is powdery. The first application is sheer when spread thinly, but the second layer builds up the color intensely. There's no staining, but it adheres well to the lips. You can also apply it to your eyes and cheeks for a quick makeup look. I was worried when buying because there weren't many places to test it or many reviews, but I'm satisfied with my purchase. It looks pretty when you apply a pink-red tint (like Etude's Hot Cherry) lightly on the inner lips. I like that it can be used as a multi-purpose product on the eyelids and cheeks too. It's fine for the eyes, but it might be a bit strong for the cheeks, so it's better to blend it out with a cushion. Alternatively, Clinique's Nude Pop + Heather Pop/Pansy Pop combination looks beautiful.
