Now I'm back to using the original Ppossong version. This is my top pick for dry skin types looking for a great summer cushion. It's perfectly moisturizing, making it suitable for combination dehydrated skin too. At the same time, it has a slightly semi-matte finish. It applies thinly yet beautifully, which I really appreciate.
ConsTo be honest, there's nothing negative to say. My only concern is that A'pieu might discontinue this product.

Longevity: Except for the nose area, it really stays put nicely. You don't need to reapply (though you might want to due to some darkening...). 2. Application: Using it with a Daiso puff and some face mist is amazing. It gives a semi-matte finish and doesn't get too oily. It seems to work well for my combination dehydrated skin. 3. Color: This is both a pro and a con. When first applied, it matches my skin tone perfectly.
Cons1. Color: Initially, I thought it was a perfect match for my skin, but it darkens over time, sometimes becoming noticeably darker than my actual complexion. This isn't consistent though. 2. Breakdown: It doesn't wear off gracefully... Sometimes it looks like it's lifting off the skin. 3. Ingredients: I'm not sure if it's incompatible with my skin or what, but my skin really gets worse with this. I had clear skin before, but now... I'm planning to switch to a foundation for combination dehydrated skin. 4. Puff: The included puff isn't great... It makes the product look patchy. It works much better with a Daiso puff.
TipThe included puff is really not good. It's much better when applied with a Daiso puff or a blending sponge. The way it breaks down isn't pretty... For combination dehydrated skin, if you prep your skin well, it shouldn't lift on the cheeks, but oil might come through on the nose. You can just remove it from the nose area and reapply, or use some powder to touch up.

The coverage is really impressive. I have some blemishes, and on busy days, even without concealer, while not perfect, it covers quite well. The adherence is also excellent. My base makeup doesn't usually separate, but even considering that, this product sticks to the face beautifully with a matte finish and no patchiness. The staying power is good too, lasting decently for about 7 hours, which is fantastic for a cushion foundation.
ConsI'm prone to blemishes, so I can't say for certain if it's because of this cushion, but I usually get small breakouts. However, after using this, when my skin condition drops, I notice more noticeable blemishes popping up. It could be due to hot weather or diet - skin issues stem from various factors, so I can't be definitive, but I can't say it has zero impact on my skin either. As for product-related drawbacks, it's about the longevity. It tends to fade around the sides of the nose. While it's a con, personally, I prefer this clean fade-out to a messy breakdown, as it's easier to touch up and looks neater, so I don't consider it a critical flaw. Also, I rarely use foundation, but I've tried almost all the popular drugstore cushions out there, and this seems to be the most matte. That was a plus for me and worked well, but depending on your skin type, you might want to keep this in mind!
TipI have shade 22 skin, but I really dislike when my face looks noticeably paler than the rest of me, so I usually opt for a light 23 shade after researching. I heard this product runs light, so I bought 23. While it is light for a 23, it has an extremely yellow base, which can make the skin look a bit dull. If you have a store nearby or know someone using it, I highly recommend checking the actual color in person before purchasing!

I'm an extremely oily skin type who only uses matte foundations, so please keep that in mind. 1. Matte finish!! It's really, really matte. It would be great for summer use. If you have dry or dehydrated-oily skin and want to use this as your first foundation, make sure to exfoliate well and have a solid skincare routine. For me personally, this is the biggest advantage. 2. The coverage is just so-so. It's not bad, just average. I bought it for touch-ups, so I actually prefer that it doesn't go on too thick. It's much less coverage than the Tension Pact Perfect Cover! 3. Color-wise, the previous Tension Pact Moisture and Perfect Cover in shade 23 were too light for me, but this one seems to be slightly darker. It should be perfect for those who are truly shade 23. (In the photo, Perfect Cover 23 is on the left, Matte 23 on the right). When applied to my face, the Matte version looks much more natural and suits me better! I've been using the Tension Pact Perfect Cover for about a month and haven't experienced any blemishes.
Cons1. Settling into fine lines: I tend to have quite a few fine lines, so all base makeup settles into them somewhat. But because this is a matte texture, it seems to settle more noticeably. It's not as bad as the cover type, and if you blend well, it's fine! (Tip: gently swipe the sides of your nose with a cotton swab for a much cleaner look!) 2. Longevity: The matte finish doesn't seem to last as long as I expected. I'm not sure if it's because I have extremely oily skin, but this is the most disappointing aspect. On hotter days, you'll probably need to touch up more frequently. 3. Pore emphasis: I've tried two types of A'pieu tension pacts, and both emphasized my pores as oil started to come through, especially around the nose area. The pore coverage is also weak, so using a pore primer would be a good idea.
TipThe puff that comes with it seems to work best! If you have dry skin, using a damp puff might work, but it might reduce the matte effect a bit. If you're using it for touch-ups, applying it directly over existing makeup can make it look patchy and messy. It's better to remove excess oil or gently wipe with a toner-soaked cotton pad before applying. When I was buying this, there weren't many reviews, so I was hesitant. I hope my review helps with your purchase decision!
